Wonderful evening on the lake to see the bats! Knowledgeable guides and learned a lot about the bats and the bridge in Austin. A great relaxing trip, good for beginners. Wonderful way to cap our trip.

We did the giant paddleboard as a family of four (two teens) and we all LOVED it! We had the best view of the bats and great education throughout the tour. We did a tour boat once when the kids were younger and this was by far more up close and more exciting. Ross and Chris went above and beyond with taking pictures of us with the city behind us, plus sticking close and chatting with us at different points along the trip. We learned a lot about Austin, the Colorado river and the dams, and the bats. The information they shared was above and beyond what I anticipated. 5 stars and next time we are in town we will be doing this again! We did it on a weeknight and it was a great size group, but not as overwhelming as I would expect the weekends are. Either way, worth every penny!

What a fantastic experience, super relaxed atmosphere and the guides were awesome. The sunset is gorgeous and watching the bats and learning about them makes you understand how important conservation is. Great, great job!

Great activity while in Austin. Our tour guides were knowledgeable about the bats. The view was beautiful and we had a great time.

Viewing the bats from the boats is the only way to go! We viewed the bats from the bridge one night but it was a much more complete view from the water. They timed the trip perfectly to get the City skyline at sunset then the bats and the City lights on the return trip. Having a friendly and knowledgeable guide (Hannah) to talk about the bats made the experience that much more amazing. I wish I would have listened to the guide more and brought more water. I went with friends and family for my sister's birthday and it was definitely worth it.

We had a great time on the giant paddle board. It was a birthday wish come true and a great way to experience the lake, beautiful views of Austin skyline with the thrill of having a destination and event to look forward to. The paddle board was perfect for our group the four of us fit easily the board had a cooler as a dry box and seat in the back and was not tippy or to hard to get the hang of. Our guild was very knowledgeable about the bats and as attentive, knowing October is a little late in the sea for the best light for viewing bats I was still so happy to be out on the water experiencing such a cool local phenomenon. The location under the bridge was easy to find and I felt expectations go or the tour were very clearly spelled out in the document that is updated daily with times so your tour is in sync with the bats. I would love to do this tour again with my son and husband next time I’m in town.

Such an amazing experience! All 5 teenagers said this tour was magical !!! 15 years living in Austin and this is definitely a bucket list tour! We had a great time with Boats and Bats, the guides were super nice and the tour was really interesting and fun. It was cool having the mix of a free paddle and the guided bat portion. Very cool experience and highly recommend!
