Junko was our guide, and was very knowledgeable. This was my favourite tour (I did 3 in Tokyo), I loved seeing into older areas, the cafe/bakery we went to was very elegant and delicious. Junko shared with us lots of interesting things about the surrounding area and also cultural aspects, very informative.

Excellent tour of Yanaka Ginza area! Miyu was an excellent tour guide - she is very knowledgeable of the area, friendly, and answered all the questions and then more. If you’re interested in seeing lots if temples and local residences and old wooden homes in Tokyo then this is your tour!!!! Ive been to 3x Tokyo Localized tour and I am highly impressed with all of them! Thank you! Looking forward to my Osaka night and day tour!

We had a great time with our tour guide, Mei. She told us vivid stories about local history, food, and religion. The made the details of the city come to life . It was much better than if he had gone without a gude.

It was a great tour with Daniel as our tour guide, providing a piece of history of the nightlife in Shinjuku with the glitter and glamour and also the dark sides of these all. Daniel told us also his personal experiences, giving us tips when strolling through Shinjuku in the night time inclusive do’s and don’ts. All and all an exciting experience and very much recommended.

I had a great time on this tour with Kiyo. She was a wonderful guide around a very interesting part of Tokyo that I would have never come across under my own steam. Kiyo gave us a lot of good information and showed us some very interesting sights, including some early cherry blossom. The tour also ends in a great shopping area that isn't too far from the train station.

I was aware that the imperial palace east garden was open to the public but decided to book a group guided tour anyway and I am so glad that I did. Our tour guide was named Mei and what a fantastic tour she provided. She was exceptionally knowledgeable, friendly and kind. She also took our pictures at the relevant spots, including one by the lone cherry blossom tree in bloom She provided the history of the imperial family and the castle, highlighting the transition from era to era. Through her, I became aware of the significance of the Edo era and how it has shaped Japanese culture today. The palace grounds, buildings and gardens that we were privy to were simply amazing. It helped also that every single member of the group was lovely. At the end of the tour, we stopped at the garden and it is simply beautiful and very tranquil. I would highly recommend a guided tour should one decide to visit the palace grounds.

We took the walking tour of the Imperial Palace East Garden on March 13, 2025 from 9:30am-12pm. Emi, our tour guide, is an excellent tour guide. She is very knowledgeable about the history of Japan. She is always smiling too. Thanks Emi for a job well done.
