Nice easy hike with little/no crowds
Both the hikes were great. Jefferson was a great guide. Took care of us well. Off the beaten path for sure. We encountered no one else during the hike. Very tranquil and nice.

        AMAZING trip
The trip was INCREDIBLE!! The waterfalls were beautiful and our guide, Bianca, knew so much about the area’s plants and animals. Swimming in the falls was so much fun and an experience we couldn’t have had anywhere else. We did the morning trip and it was a perfect half day. Also, we were coming from the Argentina side and they picked us up at the border, so that might be an option if you’re crossing for the trip. Definitely recommend!!!!

        Awesome experience!
We took the “secret falls” tour during our trip to Iguazu, and it was so much fun! Our guide was very helpful and picked us up at the Brazilian border since we were staying on the Argentina side. Really cool to get to swim in the water!

        Great tour
Took the half day trip in the afternoon. From leaving the hostel to returning was about 3,5 hours. The first trail is through the rain forest to a very nice water fall into the Iguacu River where you can also take a swim. The landscape is absolutely amazing there. The second is through the forest and along 3 water falls. Also quite nice. We ate some fresh tangerines from the tree there. The guide was amazing and spoke German, a nice plus. I was there in the off season, so nobody else was on the trails or the trip. Which was very nice. All in all very worth it and a recommendation.

        MUST DO!
We did the afternoon and evening Secret falls tour with the Luau at the end. It was brilliant! Of my Brazil trip, I place this with top 3 activities we did along with watching the parade in Sambadrome hospitality box and dinner at Marius Degustare. Of course, the Waterfalls most amazing but in terms of activities, this is was immersive and fun.

        A must visit
We took the half day tour and we really enjoyed it. The tour guides were also very friendly and spoke perfect english. There were no issues with hotel pickup, they sent us more information 1 day before on whatsapp. The tour consists of walking along rivers and stopping about 5 times to swim and walk under waterfalls. It's best to walk around in swimsuits and open sporty shoes, because you will get wet. It is a very easy walk, not at all demanding, but you do have to be careful and watch where you're stepping. The water is dark from the iron in the red soil, so you have to be careful not to hit any rocks while swimming. In the event of an accident, they accompany you to a private hospital and cover all the fees. The tour guides also take photos of you all the time and send them to you on Whatsapp with no extra charge. Thanks again to our tour guides and driver for the great tour!

We did the shortest trail and it was short and accessible. We could swim in small rapids and pools in the river. I wish I had more time and I wouldn't have done one of the longer trails. I saw photos and it looked totally worth it for the views and the waterfalls.

Amazing hike - This was the most fun I had along the Iguassu River
The hike was really interesting - It was fun to cross creeks and we followed the river up and down. There were lots of mini waterfalls to look at and wonderful photo opportunities. This was a really exciting and adventurous hike for me. I definitely recommend this tour to anyone who likes hiking. Jeferson is a wonderful hiking guide and great photographer! He took care of us (even me, the amateur hiker). Jeferson was so kind to loan me a hiking stick to make my tour easier. As a solo traveler, he helped me take so many photos. If you can walk ~20,000 steps a day without problems, I strongly encourage you to try this excursion. You won’t have thousands of people sharing the same spot so it’s really special.

You need to do this tour!
Wow! I don't know how to put this experience into words but I will remember this tour forever. We had the pleasure of having Roberto and William as our tour guides. Roberto spoke perfect English and had a lot of information. The highlights included every waterfall. You get to get in, under, around all of them. We even got to jump off a small cliff into the river below. We sat in a pool at the top of a 40 foot waterfall and then went down to see it as it emptied into the Iguazu river. We encountered a thunderstorm which seemed to make it even more authentic. It is close to town but it feels like you are in a remote jungle. You can tell our guides love their jobs as they got to play in the water with us. You need to wear clothes that you can get wet, and sturdy water/hiking shoes. The trails are somewhat rustic and challenging but worth the hike every time. Thank you Roberto and William for a fantastic day!

Incredible beauty, poor operations, no customer service.
This site, while incredibly beautiful with stunning photo opps. Now, we booked the trail hike and the boat excursion. The trail hike path is far to narrow for the crowds and we're here off season. Upon finishing the riverboat portion we emerged, having to walk up the final part as there was only one smallish elevator and at least one hundred people in line. Once at the top, there was no signage directing you to the boat ride, wandering around trying to ask for help, most staff didn't speak English. The one fellow who did, directed us to the wrong bus stop. The boat excursion, once we found it, was really the only professionally organized part of our visit. Additionally, the road thru the park had several areas of construction requiring single lane traffic causing unnecessary wait times in the bus, as I only saw one fellow with a shovel doing any kind of work. Finally, the restaurant on the way out had possibly some of the worst food I've seen in some time. I took it back to the counter and told them it was horrible, they just gave me a blank stare. Almost not worth going based on the operational circus and lack of any customer service.

Once in a Lifetime Experience-Off the Beaten Path
Not only was this one of my favorite tours that I did in Foz do Iguaçu, it was easily one of the best excursions I’ve done while traveling! It’s a great way to start the day (or spend the day if you do the full day) and Roberto was a knowledgeable, resourceful, and supportive guide as we trekked through the Atlantic Forest! I don’t hike often, and Roberto was very patient and considerate of the group and make sure we had a wonderful and safe experience together. One of the best ways to spend the day exploring Foz off the beaten path in my opinion! ^_^

        Great off-the-beaten track experience
After spending a couple of days in Iguazu National Park on both the Argentinian and Brazilian sides, I was ready to go on a behind-the-scenes adventure and a swim in the river. A half-day trip with the Secret Falls team delivered! We hiked a bit on what seemed to also be Secret Trails where we could get right into and under several Secret Falls followed by a jump and swim into the Iguazu River - it was perfect. Our driver was kind enough to pick us some local delicious fruit. I recommend this experience from Foz. Book directly with Secret Falls as well - you'll save and they'll benefit!

Amazing day! We did the full day tour of the waterfalls. Our guide was Roberto, he was absolutely fantastic. So knowledgeable about the forest and the waterfalls. And so passionate about the environment and his job. He was a pleasure to spend the day with. He took many great photos and videos for us as well. The waterfalls were incredible, we saw 10 different waterfalls and swam at every stop. Some of the waterfalls are on private property so we felt very lucky to see them. Definitely a special experience that you can't do on your own. Would highly recommend this tour. They are a small team who are passionate about making every experience special.

We had some spare time and came accross this secret falls tour and decided to give it a go. Wow so glad we did. Our tour guide Jeferson spoke great english and was very engaging. My adult daughter and I just had the best day treking through the jungle to reach these hidden falls, the majority of which we were the only ones there. A very special day. Thanks for the great memories!

The tour was one of the highlight for my trip to Iguazú waterfall. With the hiking trails, I was able to get closer to the forest and, of course, took some refreshing waterfall showers. My guide Andre was attentive, experienced and full of positive energy. :-)

This was possibly the best thing that I have done in Brazil after being here for over 4 months. Francisco and Roberto made it such an intimate and educational trip. They know everything there is to know about wildlife in the Atlantic forest and really care about it too.

The whole-day tour with Camily was the highlight of our trip to Foz do Iguaçu! In the morning, we did two trails with waterfalls. One of us enjoyed jumping into the water at any opportunity while the other one enjoyed the moment and the scenery. Both of us had a great time. After a super tasty buffet at a local shop, we went for the third tour, which was a great combination of hiking and swimming. All the time, Camily was a wonderful guide, showing us plants on the way or telling us about Foz. We enjoyed her company.

Too expensive for what they offer $60 USD
I will give 2 starts because Roberto the tour guide was really nice and very competent in his job.

I did the full day tour and I regret it. They’re a few trails and for each one you need to drive. They offer one tour in the morning and another one in the afternoon. If you are doing the full day; after you finish in the morning you need to drive to the hotel the people that are only doing the tour in the morning and go to pick up people that are going to join the tour in the afternoon…. I wish I knew that information before join this tour.

The trails are nice. Keep in mind to take enough water with you and hiking shoes.

We appreciate your feedback and will do what we can to do better. We would just like to clarify that, when you purchased your tour, you bought it with a outsourced tourism agency and this agency passed on the initial information, because in the same way that transportation is included in the morning, after lunch, we pick up the customer in the afternoon , but unfortunately the delay in the afternoon was due to the noshow of the customers who would take the tour during this period. We understand your dissatisfaction and I hope that if you return to Foz do Iguaçu one day, we can redeem ourselves.

My partner and I were lucky enough to have Roberto as our guide for this tour. He is incredibly knowledgeable and has a great sense of humour. We left it the morning to with another couple from Sao Paulo who were doing the half day tour so in the afternoon it was just us and Roberto for the second half of the day.

It was a pleasant surprise to see how adventurous and off the beaten path this tour is, with a lot of scrambling over rocks, up waterfalls and through the thick Atlantic Forest. Each waterfall is unique with my favourite being the waterfall onto the Iguazu river that contains a natural one person infinity pool. The water in all of them is wonderfully clean and a perfect temperature.

We were fed lunch at a buffet style restaurant that is included in the package. It was some of the best food we have had on out trip.

Make sure you wear clothes that you are happy to get wet because you will be soaking the whole time. We brought a back pack but it was not necessary. The lunch meant we didn't need snacks, the tour provides water and our guide took many photos and videos so we didn't need to take a camera or phone.

This is definitely a highlight if you want to do something adventurous (not dangerous except for jaguars and pumas) and see some beautiful bit less touristy places.
