We travelled for about 80 minutes to pick up several guests. They booked the cheapest ticket available (standing and not planning ahead for any guests) At the end they couldn’t wait for 8 minutes and I had to pay for Uber The experience was very poor My recommendation is to do it on your own Don’t waist your money with them Do it on your own Salgueiro is very safe even for foreigners

I thought it would be touristy but mostly locals supporting the squad. It seems more of a show for and party Salguerio supporters, than an actual carnival rehearsal, but we loved it.

The driver was exactly on time and drove very safe and was friendly. We were at the airport on time. Communication was good

Needed a ride from Buzios to Rio for two people and luggage. They showed up on time as promised, safe ride back with quick bathroom break along the way. Exactly what we needed and would recommend for anyone else needing the same. Reach out to them on WhatsApp once you have purchased to coordinate the details.

First problem: The advertised service was not delivered. We were promised a large SUV with bottled water, onboard wifi, etc... What we got was a little old Chevy. Totally unacceptable for a 3 hour drive on Brazilian roads. Second problem: We obviously refused to board this very uncomfortable car and requested a refund. So far, the operator is refusing to refund the trip.

They cancelled at 23:11 the day before. In the morning, being in a hurry to be on time, I missed the email. I read it now, in the lobby, while waiting for the pickup.

This was hard one to rate. The tour itself is great, I really enjoyed that very much. Very interesting, and you get to see some great historical stuff. The bad part however is the transport they use. The Mercedes Sprinter mini bus that was used was horrible. The shocks of the vehicle are completely worn and it felt like riding in a horse cart on a pebble road. Everything inside the bus rattled too. This bus needs replacement or to be repaired. You should not transport tourists in a vehicle that is in such a bad condition, especially driving through a mountain pass. The advertisement also states entry/admission to Quitandinha Palace Congress and Convention Center. We only stopped far away for photos and did not enter. Don’t false advertise! The tour language is done in Portuguese, Spanish and English. Just unfortunate that almost no English was spoken as there were only 2 of us. The other languages had detailed explanations about areas and places.

Petropolis is definitely worth the visit. Its an interesting place with lots to see but don’t take the lunch option. It is awful. Bad food in a dingy resturant and certainly not worth the additional cost. The tour guide spoke English well but his explanations in Spanish and Portuguese was extensive and basically one sentence in English so you cannot rely on that. The bus was had very dirty windows not ideal when you are on a tour. If you can rather do this trip independently or even if you hire a car for the day.

They were punctual. They picked us up on time, and we felt safe. Good drivers. I would use them again.

Our flight has a suspected gas leak so we didn’t get to Rio on time for the shuttle to pick us up. The operator said we should forcefully insist on a refund from airliner and when airliner refused, tour operator said they wouldn’t refund us ticket or arrange for a later transport.

Rafa was an outstanding tour guide for Petropolis. He gave a great overview of the city’s history. The rich German culture is seen throughout the city. You can see his joy and passion in his role as a tour guide.

The event, once we were dropped off was simply AMAZING!! Like, everybody should experience that in Rio - very nice and SAFE location. Incredible energy, beautiful people! Next time we will be looking into getting to Salgueiro in a bag or Uber. Cons: We were 2 hrs in the tourist agency bus waiting for everybody else to be picked up… we were the first. I wished I knew it so we could’ve meet the bus at the last pick up location, 2 hrs later. The agency used here (or the guide) seemed disorganized, the bus smelled like a public bathroom, like pretty bad. Outdated bus, no music nothing fun for 2 hrs before dropped off at the event, which was a shame. With little adjustments this could’ve been a better experience in general.

Our tour guide was fantastic and informative. Petropolis is rich with history and beauty! This was the best tour of our trip.

The driver came on time with a large van just for two of us. The actual drive was fast and smooth in a/c car and took a little bit more than 3 hours. Very professional. Will recommend to anybody. Good quality for a very reasonable price.
