About the operator
Don’t take it from us – here’s what people have to say about this operator:
- Anyadventure0 contributionsChanged the tour without English on offerThey changed the tour. Would not have been able to hear tour in English. A car showed up to drive us. Seemed risky to get in car with who was supposed to be tour guide. More walking outside in rain for two older women with walking difficulties.Written 21 March 2025
- Coastal2827770 contributionsEnjoyable evening even without a sunset!Marcos picked us up at our hotel. Even thought was cloudy and there was no sunset, he still made the outing enjoyable. Since it was just 2 of us and Marcos, he personalized the tour for us and drove us around to get oriented to Rio. Would highly recommend Marcos for any type of tour in Rio!Written 14 March 2025
- A8356CAariannab0 contributionsAll in one tour, great day outFantastic tour which gives you everything in one trip if you are short on time! Tour guide Monica and driver Luciano were very professional and looked after us from start to finish. As it was carnival season it was much busier than normal but we expected this. Monica was very flexible and let people exit tour as and when. Lunch was great and provided a great mix of local food.Written 13 March 2025
- artie4830 contributionsThe summer capital of RioI didn’t have high expectations about the tour since I was looking for day trips that are not related to the beach but I am happy that Giovanna made the tour as interesting as possible. She was so enthusiastic with explaining all the sights coming and going out of the imperial city. She also shared some stories about Cristina and Pedro’s love and also the last years of slavery until Brazil became a republic. I’m fully in agreement that Brazil and the Philippines are sister countries, just like our twin México.Written 11 March 2025

- pism20250 contributionsFantastic tripFantastic trip. A very good way to see the attractions in Rio. Our guide Monica was great. She was in total control even in the places where there were so many people and we had to stay in long lines. She had so much good information on the things we visited and we passed with the bus. I really recommend the trip and the guide.Written 8 March 2025
- Tom B0 contributionsVery informative and very beautifulThe tour guide was excellent very informative and the tour bus driver Eduardo and exceptional driver through the crazy crazy streets well worth the investment and time no you're not going to go straight to the front of the line but anybody who thinks that should stay at homeWritten 8 March 2025
- artie4830 contributionsColorful Rio!First time to visit Rio de Janeiro hence my expectations were high. I am so glad that our guide, Carlos, managed to take care of us and ensured our safety throughout the day. The tour started with a visit to Päo de Azúcar and then followed by Cristo Redentor. You need to have a good full breakfast of carbs because there will be a lot of walking. The views are amazing from above. Afterwards, we went to a Churrascaria and had a buffet of barbecued meats and healthy plates of salad. Next we went to the Maracanä stadium and then to the Catedral do Säo Sebastiao and finished at the Escadaria do Selarón. 👍🏽 very well recommendedWritten 8 March 2025

- R4191SJsandrad0 contributionsAmazing and unique Rio experience during CarnivalWe had a wonderful experience in Rio. Monica, our tour guide, was amazing, the BEST! The tour itself is at a leisurely pace, with good time to enjoy all the sites, take in the local life and with the added convenience of a driver dropping you off and picking you up at the various sites. Monica is a truly passionate tour guide, extremely knowledgable about everything and very flexible and patient depending on what her clients' preferences are. We went during Carnival and she even brought wigs for us to join in. We had a great and unique time! Can highly recommend her.Written 4 March 2025
- butelka120 contributionsInterestingVery plesent. We menaged to see places in Rio where we wouldnt necesary plan to go otherwise. The trip was well organised. The group was small (8). Van dropped us in/out in interesting places. Thank you Monika!Written 3 March 2025
- Maureen42990 contributionsSafe, efficient and comprehensive way to tour the best Rio has to offerGo with a group! For your own safety. Please read..... I've travelled to most European Capitals, all over the South Pacific, South East Asia and North America and Rio was our last stop of a 2 month South American tour. This tour was really great. It moved us safely and efficiently to Rio's most beautiful sites. We had zero issues with the language and the tour company arrived and departed on time. We were delighted by the sights and it was a very efficient way to see this beautiful city. Unfortunately, it built confidence that Rio was safe. It's not!! The day after the tour, we set out to navigate a few sites on our own. On one street a deranged drug addict came right for me. On another beautiful public square in the Old Centre, my phone was stolen right out of my hands by a passing motorcyclist as I was standing outside a church looking up a city map. He actually had the gall to look back and taunt me as he tore away on his high speed motorcycle. These guys are pros. The police even admitted this happens all the time. Such a sad memory this will leave for me. Stick to the tours. This one was stellar.Written 28 February 2025
- 427kumruu0 contributionsGreat showWe went a family of 4 and the show was our favorite activity. The atmosphere was amazing. Service was great. Food was also good.Written 25 February 2025
- mik2mar0 contributionsA good Introduction to RioIt took a while for this tour to get organised. The guide did not have a sign and was wandering about calling out names to locate her guests, which was difficult in such a large, noise crowd. Our first stop was Sugarloaf Mountain. The views were spectacular. Our next stop was the buffet lunch. It was chaos and noisy and we couldn’t even eat with our friends on the tour, as they just took everyone two by two as spaces opened up. However, the food was very tasty. Our next stop, Christ the Redeemer Statue was the highlight of the tour. We had two more quick stops, a cathedral and the Selaron Steps before completing the tour.Written 14 February 2025
- Traveler5988010 contributionsPrivate Tour of Niterói Architecture Highlights - A Must When in RioIf you appreciate architecture and art, this is an interesting and educational tour. Our guide, Monica, was phenomenal! On the drive to Niterói she gave us a history of Rio which was informative and entertaining. Once in Niterói, we toured several Oscar Niemeyer constructions with the highlights being the buildings of Caminho Niemeyer and the Museo de Arte Contemporanea. The museum (currently, Feb ‘25) has an exhibition on Rio Carnival which was excellent and Monica was even able to answer the many questions we had about the event. To wrap up, Monica gave us a choice in what to see last and after lots of modern architecture we decided to go more traditional and visit Jambiero Manor, the home of a wealthy family from the late 1800’s, completely covered in tiles. This was a great private tour (4 hours in total which felt just right) to balance out our beach time in Rio. Book it!Written 14 February 2025
