Your day will start with a pick-up at your hotel and your first stop will take you through the Tijuca Forest as you travel up towards and visit Christ the Redeemer, which is one of the symbols of Rio de Janeiro and the world!
From the Christ you will head to the Maracanã football stadium, which one of the worlds most famous stadiums and the heart of Brazilian football! You will then be taken to visit the Sambódromo where the famous Rio de Janeiro Carnival is held each year!
After the Maracanã we will head towards Lapa and see sights such as the Arcos de Lapa and the impressive 75 meters tall Catedral Metropolitana, the Metropolitan Cathedral of St. John the Baptist of Rio de Janeiro which was inaugurated in 1979. After this you will be taken to the Selarón stairs which connects the bohemian neighborhood of Lapa to the artistic neighborhood of Santa Teresa which has been seen in music videos of U2, Michael Jackson and the Rapper Snoop Dogg.
After all this sightseeing you would have built up an appetite, so we will head to Copacabana and have traditional Brazilian "churrasco" buffet lunch. Following lunch we will head to and visit the Sugar Loaf Mountain, which is undoubtedly the most magnificent postcard of Rio de Janeiro and one of the most famous view of Brazil. After this you will be dropped off back at your hotel.
