About the operator
Don’t take it from us – here’s what people have to say about this operator:
- amymX3340YB0 contributionsGreat day trip to SantosMany thanks to Maria Elisa. My trip was a brilliant experience from start to finish. She took time at the start to understand my interests and personalised the trip accordingly. I would never have been able to see everything I did in 1 day without this trip. Would definitely recommend.Written 31 October 2024
- 451rachellel0 contributionsPersonal 8-hour tour of SantosIt was our first time visiting São Paulo, Brazil and we booked a private 8-hour tour of Santos in the English language. Maria was our tour guide and she did an amazing job of providing us with history of São Paulo and Santos from the moment she picked us up in São Paulo to Santos and back. She was friendly, fun and energetic! She gave us great recommendations on food and drinks. My husband and I took amazing photos along our stops. We felt safe and comfortable the entire day. We would definitely book another tour with Gregtur Tourism and hope to have Maria as our guide again. She has us excited to visit again!Written 6 September 2024
- scotthQ9498RM0 contributionsThe Pele Tour: an unexpected treasure!Wow! What an informative and pleasant tour. Our guide knew so much about Pele, the City of Santos, and Santos Futebol Club that even our kids, ages 11, 9 and 7 kept interest in the tour all day. We visited several landmarks in the city, ate great food, saw the Pele Museum, Santos Stadium, the waterfront, Beautiful beachfront gardens, Peles tomb and topped off the day with some delicious Brazilian Prato Feitos. Everywhere we went, people told us some more about Pele and we even met Pele’s personal barber. Our guide took some great family shots of us wherever we went.Written 6 August 2024

- yvonnepE1503YE0 contributionsProfessional, reasonably priced car service from cruise port to São Paulo airportCristiano was prompt, courteous, professional, and pleasant. Booking was only made the day before but it went smoothly and communication via WhatsApp addressed all questions and concerns and put me at ease.Written 27 April 2024
- YvonnePJupiter_FL0 contributionsA potentially stressful situation was made easyCristiano was prompt, professional and engaging. I made the reservation only the day before and it was important that we received clear communication via WhatsApp text as we were totally unfamiliar with the area where we were picked up. It was also important that we could communicate with him as very few people can communicate in English. From the time I made the booking until we were dropped off at the airport, we were at ease. I highly recommend this company.Written 25 April 2024

- timothyp8030 contributionsWell worth it and highly recommendedWe have just enjoyed a wonderful small group excursion in Santos with Gregtour. We had a small group of 9 people and the Guide Romilda had very good English and a great sense of humor. She is obviously proud of her country and provided us with a lot of the local history of Santos and the development of the coffee industry in Brazil.Written 25 April 2024
- 23milliec0 contributionsSantos visitWe booked a private tour with Nelio. He was amazing. We had such a great experience. He took us to all the important sites and to a beautiful restaurant with an amazing view for lunch. Very friendly, not rushed and very professional. I highly recommend this company and ask to book with Nelio.Written 24 April 2024
- AVLwanderer0 contributionsGreat overview of SantoThere were a number of things we wanted to see in Santos and this tour did them all. Pele Museum, the Coffee Museum, the funicular and an overview of the area including both the old city as well as the beach area. Mary was a super guide, prompt and on time. She kept the tour flowing for the entire day. This tour is especially good for cruise visitors to Santos.Written 11 March 2024
- 767marinaw0 contributionsAn epic paddling and camping week in the Tasmanian South West Wilderness. The Roarings Forties 8 days kayaking expedition into the South West Wilderness of Tasmania, Australia, is a once a lifetime experience. Flying into the wilderness area at Maleleuca gives you a first idea of the majestic region you will be in for the week. Stable double kayaks, good camping equipment and our two guides Rob and Cane took us on a circular route from Bathurst Harbour to the open seas around the Sea Breakers Islands, making the best of the weather conditions which can be very variable. After a good day's paddle we were presented with a glass of wine and a freshly cooked meal! You will need a certain level of fitness and a sense of adventure for this amazing trip but it is epic, and I thank Roarings Forties for this wonderful and beautiful experience!Written 7 March 2024
- Daldekadibba0 contributionsThe best tour coordinator and tour guide you will ever haveWhile this review is for this specific Gregtur Turismo tour, if you look at many of the tours Gregtur offers for São Paulo, it is hard to see how you can improve upon their very well deserved rating of 5.0. They are absolutely outstanding! We were on a cruise and I was trying to set up a tour for 14 people, or 7 couples, five of whom contacted me through Cruise Critic and Facebook for that specific sailing. Fernanda, whom I was communicating with, to negotiate the prices, set up the tour, etc. is the best tour coordinator you can ever dream of working with. I had hundreds of questions and emails to her and she patiently responded to each one of them, very promptly, and respectfully. It was clear from my interactions with her that her primary focus was on us having a great experience with the tour, without any worries, versus a cold monetary focus as I generally come across in such situations. She is the absolutely best. Wish I could meet with her in person and thank her for an outstanding experience. Fernanda assigned us Danilo as our tour guide. Danilo is just about the best tour guide you could ever have. While we had one other tour guide in Kuşadası, Turkey of the same caliber as Danilo, I doubt you can do any better than Danilo. His English was very good and he communicated very well and clearly. He had a great sense of humor. But the main differentiator was that he was incredibly knowledgeable and very passionate about communicating to us the very best of São Paulo and Brazil. In the about 10 hours we were with him from Santos to São Paulo and back, there were very few moments of silence during that time, even through the drive from and to Santos is pretty long, because Danilo kept providing us a wealth of information. His information prompted many questions and he answered every one of them. The sites he showed us and the venues he showed them from were well curated, and I doubt you would find those on any standard tour. He really provided a great insight into São Paulo, and the history of the region in the context of Brazil. He took us to a wonderful, very reasonable, Brazilian buffet for lunch. He was very considerate of his passengers and their needs. I can's say enough about Danilo. If you get Danilo as a guide you will get the penultimate experience of São Paulo. We all felt that the value of the tour to what we paid for it was an outstanding bargain. It was so good!Written 13 April 2023
- Michelle L0 contributionsWonderful full day tour with Romilda and GregturWe had a great time touring Santos with Romilda. It’s obvious that she loves what she’s doing and has so many stories about Santos. We were well taken care of and she made sure we weren’t rushed. We even had a bonus side trip to the banana store. It was a wonderful whole day tour. Highly recommended. Thank you!Written 11 April 2023
- Z8796EVandrewc0 contributionsBest of Santos-amazing!!!Our tour operator, Jessica, did a fantastic job showing us the sites of Santos. We really enjoyed hearing about the history of Santos, and also enjoyed and amazing and authentic lunch complete with Caipirinha’s. The. The nuclear we went up along with a separate and complete tour of the former social House and casino at the top of the hill along with the original Church of the settlement of Santos there was fantastic as well. I highly recommend this tour!Written 11 April 2023

Had a great time. Weather just right. Had long walk to get to either Son Bou and Binigaus. Pity the sea is eroding the coastline
