- tallie20130 contributionsGood intro to Sao Paolo when short of time.Bruno was an enthusiastic & knowledgable tour guide who was passionate about Sao Paolo and eager to ensure all guests’ questions were answered and he spoke good English. Reinaldo was a friendly helpful & safe driver, ensuring guests were looked after exiting the vehicle & pointing out sites we drove past. Leonardo was another kind guide accompanying our tour who gave excellent insights and details on sites we visited and was a huge asset to the tour, and also spoke perfect English. If you have limited time in Sao Paolo this tour is a good overview, but by its nature it’s rushed with limited time at the few sites the tour stops at. The longest tour stop was spent at a market for lunch which was unfortunate as it was least interesting site. The tour company seems to partner with one cafe in the market. If you are vegetarian, vegan or gluten free you will struggle to find lunch you can eat anywhere in the market. There are more interesting things to do in SP than visit a covered market full of identical restaurants and fruit stalls so it’s a shame this was the stop prioritised. Especially when travelling alone, with safety concerns in the city it would have been better to see more outdoor areas of the city when accompanied by a guide. The tour collection point was convenient to me, and I highly recommend Bruno, Reinaldo & Leonardo.Written 10 December 2024

It turned that we are both fans of the TV novella “Por amor” and we love the same music. So we were on the same vibe. He showed me the city, we visited the main Cathedral, two rooftops, did a small shopping with famous flipflops, local arts street and local beer place. That was unforgettable! He provided an in-depth history of Brazil while sharing excellent information about the murals across the city. The highlight was definitely meeting Tarik, one of the amazing artists of Batman Alley, and even getting to paint a little with him. Arthur and Tarik were so friendly and eager to answer all of our questions. We visited several important sites on our tour and learned a whole lot. I highly recommend this tour and also highly recommend doing it on a Sunday since the avenue is closed to vehicular traffic on Sundays which made the walk very exciting and vibrant. Amazing experience with Marcio. He was a pleasure, telling us little details about the city of Santos and the history it holds. He was on time and very patient with our group when we occasionally made things difficult. We felt comfortable cracking jokes and talking to him like he was apart of our group! Would highly recommend having him as your guide for whatever you would like to see.

My tour guide, Marcio, was on time, friendly, and on top of everything. He knew exactly where the best spots were to go and gave us amazing background knowledge at every site. This tour was so fun and i 10000% recommend getting Marcio as your tour guide because you will find no one better.

Fun day trip to Santos from São Paulo! Private transportation and tour which included biking on the beach, tour of the historic old town, and tram to the highest point in the city among several other fun and informative stops. Giorgio is a great local tour guide who was so fun to hang out with and learn about Santos from. Beautiful day!

While it was good to get out of the city and to see the old and new parts of Santos I am not sure this tour was high on value relative to cost. It is good bit of time in the car just getting to Santos and back to Sao Paulo (3 hours total). The old city part of the tour was interesting with the Pele museum, the Coffee museum, and the trolley ride. Both the Pele museum and Coffee museum were really interesting. A fair bit of time in the car again to get from the old part of the city past the port area and to the beach area on our way to Porchat Island, up to the Niemayer monument, and the restaurant next door where the food was great. The views were fabulous up there. Unfortunately we did not stop for any of the following along the way: Monte Serrat, Orla and Gardens of Santos Beach, or the Municipal Botanical Garden of Santos. All I saw of the gardens and beach were from the car as we drove by and we never took the tram up to see the view from Monte Serrat. What I did see and do was interesting but I felt like the tour of the new Santos area was lacking. Maybe it was because of all the traffic on a Sunday afternoon. Maybe my trip was an exception relative to expectations and what was listed as typical for this tour.

Maria was a super tour guide. Very friendly and knowledgable. The team was also highly flexible and arranged for a pick-up from our hotel in Santos against a small fee. Overall, a very smooth tour. We enjoyed it very much and would not hesitate to book it again.

Marcio is an excellent tour guide. He knows so many interesting details. He is himself very interested in culture and history.
What I liked a lot about Marcio is that he gives you the freedom and time to watch something. You never feel in a hurry with him.
When Im in Sao Paulo again, I will def. book him again.

I did this trip solo and it was one of the most relaxing tours. You get to choose how long you want to spend at each location and you have the freedom to ask your guide to skip parts of the tour that don't speak to you. Plus the sights where amazing 😍

Made a short visit to Santos. It was a great experience with Adi Zegman, the guide. He was very flexible; knowledgeable and ensured it was a fun ride. Gretur Tourismo was very proactive with planning and keep me informed about everything. They took extra efforts to ensure we got our boat ride and I can’t thank them enough for that.

I recommend my tour guide, Marcio, because he is very friendly and fun to talk to. He is always happy to inform you about everything you ask a question about. He is a good guy and you can tell he is very funny at first sight.

Excellent day with Marinelio in Santos. We rode the lift to Montemarte, took a short train ride around Santos, and toured the Pele and coffee museums. Enjoyed a delicious lunch with a beautiful view. I felt safe and comfortable with Marinelio and highly recommend this tour.
