We had an amazing experience on the tour! Giuliano was incredibly knowledgeable and gave us fascinating insights into the diverse history of Brazil. We also got to enjoy a delicious variety of Asian cuisine, which added a unique flavor to the day. We were in town for the Eagles vs. Packers football game, and this tour was the perfect complement to our trip. Highly recommend!

Our guide, Giuliano, was great! We met at an easy to find location in Japan Town and started our gastronomic tour, starting off with a hearts of palm pastel and sugar cane juice to was it down. Ducting into a small Japanese food store, Giuliano selected each of us a hand sushi triangle to consume in the small Japanese garden later. Next we strolled through the bustling streets and walked into a empanada cafe and had an outstanding “saltena” empanada. That empanada was one of the best I’ve ever had! We walked into an older, quieter area and admired old architecture of the middle class. It was a hot day, so I was thankful to end the tour at Kazu Cake, where we enjoyed a beverage and (yes more food) a delicious dessert called Choux au craquelin / xi-cream cake! It was a fantastic food tour and you won’t be disappointed!

Giuliano was a great tour guide. He was very informative and a great speaker. We went on a driving tour and we learned a lot more information through this tour. He also made many good suggestions for what we should do and see after the tour. Some food was very delicious and some of it pushed us out of our comfort zone but we were totally open to it. It was not just Japanese food but also some Brazilian food too. Would definitely recommend to all tourists.

Giuliano gave a brilliant tour of Liberdade, explaining the areas cultural heritage. We saw, and ate in, places I wouldn’t have found on my own. I loved the group nature of the tour as it’s perfect for solo travellers looking to join others. Giuliano also had great tips for where else to visit (and eat! 🙂) in São Paulo. I’ll definitely be booking another one of his tours next time I’m in town. Highly recommend!

Had a blast on the food tour with Giuliano. I was amazed by his knowledge of the city and the country as a whole. Got to really explore the Liberade neighborhood and eat some amazing food along the way, so make sure you come with an empty stomach. Highly recommend

We loved this tour. Our guide Giuliano was charming and funny and full of stories and amusing anecdotes about this fascinating district. He was so considerate to welcome us with a bottle of water and line up for all the wonderful food we got to sample. Best of all was the quaint road off the busy market where we found relief from the crowd and some unexpected beauty – as well as the sweet treat at the end. It was so good, I dream about it. We left the tour absolutely stuffed and totally happy for the time spent. Do yourself a favour and book this tour, it's an absolute bargain for such a fun and fulfilling couple of hours.

Couldn't have imagined a better afternoon in Liberdade. The food was great, the tour was the right length, and we learned about how different cultures have contributed to the food scene in Sao Paulo. Guide was knowledgeable and hilarious.

This tour was wonderful and really exceeded my expectations. Not only was the food great, but Giuliano put it in context with great stories about the history of the area and its people. He also had great recommendations for other things to see and do in Sao Paulo, including telling me where to go to get a Cachaca tasting. If you like food and history and secret passageways to hidden streets of beauty, then this is a must-do tour!

Everything I read about Giuliano in the reviews was right on point. Had a wonderful day with him - learned so much, ate/drank well, and had a lot of fun! As a woman travelling alone, I was a tiny bit apprehensive leading into this - but within seconds I felt comfortable. It really was like hanging out with a friend. Communication and planning beforehand was easy and professional. Giuliano incorporated my top picks into the tour, and added in other great gems - including places that aren’t on the tourist map. I don't normally eat breakfast but am always down to learn about food so I signed up for this tour. I really enjoyed it because it took me to a part of the city I never would have gone to on my own and I learned a lot about the history of the neighborhood.
