About
Crôa do Goré is a small island of yellow sand that comes with the movement of the tide, located at the meeting of the rivers Vaza-Barris and Santa Maria, between the municipalities of Aracaju, São Cristóvão and Itaporanga d'Ajuda. It takes its name from the large amount of a species of crustacean called goré or popularly known by the local community as "Flame tidal".

About the operator
Don’t take it from us – here’s what people have to say about this operator:
- Adventurer2631570 contributionsFun!The lake has been filled with an Amazon fish called tambaqui, which grow quite big, being fed daily by the tourists. They come up and swim around you to be fed. There are various restaurants around the lake which have widely diverse reviews. I strongly recommend the Deck dos Tabaquis, which has no admission fee, a R$10 parking fee, and good food with fair prices, nice organized eating area, ambient music which is not too loud and access to canoes with no extra charge.Written 22 December 2024
- NorthStar181886405860 contributionsVery disappointingVery disappointing. We stopped by because we took an organized tour. We had to pay to go in. They are not even able to make a fresh coffee. The attraction is some fishes which you usually find in the supermarket.Written 7 September 2024
- irinacezar0 contributionsGet to know three Brazilian states at the same timeIf there's a better way to get to know three Brazilian states at the same time (Border Alagoas, Bahia and Sergipe), I don't know it. The canyons are beautiful and special. I went with my mother, but the trip is perfect for couples too.Written 5 January 2023

Tripadvisor’s approach to reviews
Before posting, each Tripadvisor review goes through an automated tracking system, which collects information, answering the following questions: how, what, where and when. If the system detects something that potentially contradicts our community guidelines, the review is not published.
When the system detects a problem, a review may be automatically rejected, sent to the reviewer for validation, or manually reviewed by our team of content specialists, who work 24/7 to maintain the quality of the reviews on our site.
Our team checks each review posted on the site disputed by our community as not meeting our community guidelines.

Praia do Goré by itself is very fast tour and with bad service in the tourist service. Poor structure, do not clean tables and chairs. You have to beg to be taken care of! A monkey! The island of the lovers is excellent structure, the catamaran staff is great. Excellent snacks, cold drinks and great service! And the island is larger allows tours! Great request!

Had a fantastic time. Lovely golden sands and blue waters. Barbecue lunch on the sand shaded by palm trees. Highly recommend

Just an excuse to go boating. It's worth a visit to see it, as it is very picturesque. But eat something first, as the service at the bar is terrible, the drink is hot (when it arrives) and the food takes too long. It was worth visiting, but I wouldn't go back even for free. Oh, and the tide didn't even rise that day.

Beautiful landscapes. Incredible place, however, take your food to eat there, as there is nothing cheap. Salt water since it is close to the sea.

Beautiful place ! I loved the experience. There is a lot of water, clean and warm. A very pleasant environment. Access is not easy, but it is very possible with a boat. It's worth the visit.

I was surprised by Aracaju, a clean city, the Crôa do Goré tour, you can get to the location by Uber, then there is a team at Orla do Por do Sol, there the people are in charge of taking you to Croa... Go and go see what is beautiful!!!
