Overview

Combine culture with nature on a private full-day city and cocoa farm tour from Guayaquil. Designed for travelers passing through Guayaquil, this excursion takes you to a rural cocoa farm where you’ll tour the plantation and make chocolate from scratch. Then, you’ll embark on a sightseeing tour of Guayaquil city, home to attractions such as Las Penas neighborhood, Malecon 2000, and Parque Historico. Hotel pickup and drop-off are included.

What to Expect
Travelers are picked up at 10am from their hotels to drive for an hour through the countryside to the cocoa farm. Once you get to the cocoa farm, you may walk around to see the nursery of cocoa trees, the cocoa plantation, and end up making chocolate from scratch.

If you book the optional lunch at the farm, you will have lunch there. Otherwise, you come back to the city for lunch (at own expense). 

Next, your guide will take to the check the main highlights of downtown: The Iguana Park, The Cathedral, The Malecon 2000 and Las Peñas neighborhood. By the end of this activity, you will be driven back to your hotel.

Relax and Enjoy

No. It takes about an hour to get there. We did a half day which included a delicious lunch made from all fresh ingredients grown on the farm.
