About the operator
Don’t take it from us – here’s what people have to say about this operator:
- Lisa W0 contributionsVery pleasurableWe loved this city, known as the 'pearl of the pacific', the largest city in Ecuador. The cobbled streets here are immaculately clean, no vandalism with lovely parks and plazas fringed with palms including an Iguana park. Everything about this city screams 'family and fun'. There are cable cars for pleasure and for ease of transportation for the locals, fair rides, stalls, markets, a plethora of good quality restaurants and everything is very reasonably priced. A lovely city divided into the new and old city which has lots of character. You can walk down the promenade and go on boat rides on the Guayas or just saunter around and take everything in your stride as the city feels very safe. There is a cathedral and light house with many steps leading to it if you want panoramic views of the city, but you can also get this from the boat rides also. Lovely city, highly recommended.Written 19 April 2022
