      A Mekong Must!
We had a fantastic time with David, he really knows his ‘fun facts’ and is so well connected and liked on the river it made spending a few hours with him a pleasure. The floating market was perfect, mainly because it was an actual trading market, not just for show. And having coffee on breakfast with the locals was such a treat. He took us to the rice noodle factory where he appeared to be part of the family and we watched and joined in production. Interesting process. I never knew they were square. There were many highlights and we learned loads, not only about the tour but Vietnamese life too. Thank you David!

get familiar with the life of Mekong delta
We've really enjoyed our time. So interesting to start a day with coffee and traditional noodles soup on the river, observing local way of life. Our guide Jade (Bich) was amazing, we've talked a lot about Vietnam and Mekong delta region, how people live and a bit about everything. She was extremely friendly and provided us with great experience! Overall this tour is a good way to meet local, see some small buisnesses and get familiar with the life of Mekong delta.

      A very nice experience
An amazing experience with an amazing tourguide Pii. We were picked up at our resort and everything was well organised. The trip itself was really nice and beautiful. We even got some vietnamese snacks from our tourguide. All the while she told us information about the trip and vietnam in general. After the boat trip we went to a less touristic area to look at the creation of baskets, really interesting and nice people and we got to try it ourselves.

      Incredible nature and cultural experience
We recently joined the tour offered by Mekong Realism, and it exceeded all our expectations! From start to finish, the entire journey was beautifully organized, offering a perfect mix of breathtaking nature and vibrant local culture. The visit to the nature reserve was a highlight, as we were surrounded by stunning landscapes and had the chance to see unique wildlife up close. It felt so peaceful, and Ngân, our guide, was incredibly knowledgeable about the ecosystem. The floating market experience was truly unforgettable. Witnessing the bustling trade on the river was fascinating, and we loved interacting with the local vendors. This tour is a must for anyone visiting the Mekong Delta and is short on time — it’s an enriching, fun, and unforgettable way to experience the beauty and heart of this amazing region. Highly recommended!

We had a really great experience in a very small group on the floating market and on a cocoa farm! Our guide David was great, knew the best places and also helped us a lot regarding our further travel plans. He even organised seats on a bus and a taxi to the Cambodian boarder =)

      Excellent experience
This was our second tour with Mekong Realism (the first being Largest Floating Market, Wild Canal System And Organic Chocolate tour) and I have nothing but lavish praise for the company, our guide, David, and the tour itself. It was interesting, varied and well-organized. I'm surprised this tour has so few reviews; it should be much more widely known.

Highlight of our time in Can Tho
It's hard to imagine anyone would consider coming to Can Tho without going to Cai Rang Market, but if you are, don't. The market was a fantastic experience, and this tour was a great way to explore the region. David was a brilliant brilliant tour guide, and the entire day was a blast from start to finish. Very highly recommend.

We were accompanied by David, a very good guy with whom we spent a few days.
David loves his job very much and it is evident from the first meeting.
He is kind, helpful, friendly and has a great desire to introduce you to his land.
He accompanied us during this excursion in this magical forest where the only sound you can hear is that of the millions of birds that live there.

We booked this tour as something to do on our last day in Can Tho and we are really glad we chose it.

It was a wonderful day out and we got to see real life along the river without the usual hustle and bustle of tourists. Our tour guide was Nga, who was very friendly and explained everything really well.

We had a wonderful dinner to finish the day off and would definitely recommend this tour!

    We had an amazing experience.
The floating market was so vivid and authentic, at first - not a touristic attraction, but the real local habits and lifestyle.
Other activities were very good as well.
The food was great (I'm vegan).
Yan added local insights and a lot of interesting information, about the area, the people, and Vietnam in general.
Besides that he was really fun and funny, what made the experience the best.

a wonderful experience with Trinh, we visited brick factory and tofu villages where the local people make bricks and tofu by traditional ways like 8 centuries ago, which help us understand about real life of local people in Mekong delta. I highly recommend for anyone want to take authentic trip and discover real life of local people

It was an amazing day trip with Nga :)
Our family really enjoyed this tour.
If you stay in Can Tho more than 3 days then u should deffo do this tour. Actually it was better than floating market tour for me. Great experience.

Thanks for a wonderful tour. We had the two day tour: afternoon and morning.
Nguyen picked us up from the hotel and took us to the boats.
We sailed quite a lot from village to village to see different attractions.
We went to see how to make: bricks, tofu, rice noodles and cacao in authentic factories.
We fed flying fishes, toured the floating market. Sailed in the Mekong river and it was really cool.
Food was nice: we had fish and shrimp omelette at dinner time, and had banhmi in the breakfast from the floating market and noodles for lunch.
Nguyen took great care of us, brought plenty of water and told us a lot about the different areas and people of the Mekong delta area.
