About the operator
Don’t take it from us – here’s what people have to say about this operator:
- C1005UAvincec0 contributionsVery interesting tour - and almost no tourists!Very interesting tour to three cool sites with no tourists! The history is fascinating and the views are incredible. Two of the sites are amazing and the third also quite interesting although not as impressive. It's quite a lot of driving for one day but definitely worth it. The driver was great - sharing his views on the country and sites with us. Our only complaint is that the tour should advise you that you will have 2 local guides at the sites. Knowing this is important so you plan for appropriate tips to them in addition to the driver.Written 18 January 2025
- DreamHolidaySL0 contributionsVillage Safari SigiriyaA great experience for foriegners to get close to old Sri Lankan village life. Worth getting this experience to see how the traditional cooking take place.Written 13 January 2025
- sakurakok7120 contributionsWild elephants with amazing service tour!Everything was great! We booked a 3 hour afternoon safari and saw many elephants, just being in the safari car and feeling the wind in our face was amazing. We received a confirmation message the day before and our safari tour guide came with plenty of time before the agreed time, and made sure we were doing good through the whole trip, so the service was great too! Absolutely recommend going, a full day is probably more amazing but if you’re short on time, 3 hours is absolutely great too!Written 10 January 2025
- amirsalars0 contributionsA great day outA great day out with Jayantha. He is very knowledgeable and kept us on track and on time for the trains. We saw some great scenic spots and the entire day was wonderful. Thank you so muchWritten 7 January 2025
- zainfootball0 contributionsNational parkNational park amazing experience, we saw crocodile, elephant, birds, fox, lizard. Did not see leopard, there are 35 leopards in National park and guide was good, love his job and tried his best.Written 1 January 2025
- michellepK2074ZD0 contributionsRecommend with guide Sana! The guide for this experience really made the adventure worthwhile! He was knowledgeable and very excited to share all the things he loves. Views were great and Sana went out of his way to help with photos. Only one word of caution is the traffic on very narrow roadways coming to and from the bridge can be a little tricky if you are not a confident cyclist. Also should have a decent level of fitness as there are some hills. I enjoyed it all and would recommend it!Written 28 December 2024
- 447giorgosm0 contributionsUnique experience at WilpattuThe safari tour was amazing! We had an experienced and very polite driver who showed us the best parts of the safari! We did not see a leopard (due to time- it is suggested to have the safari in the morning) but we managed to see almost every other animal! Would totally recommend, the nature is like paradise here!Written 24 December 2024
- 876jahangira0 contributionsMore chance of seeing animals in the darkIf you’ve never seen ANY animals in your life then you might enjoy Yala. This is a money making tour. Transport was great but sadly Yala isn’t very good for these reasons: - Too many tour vehicles in the park - Queuing to see ANY animal asleep during the day. - if you like peacocks, deer, bisons then this is the place for you. - Saw 3 small elephants who couldn’t cross the roads because too many vehicles blocking the road. - Your internal organs will be rearranged by the broken roads. - inhaled copious amounts of diesel fumes from all the vehicles - Felt like being on a conveyor belt. A bumpy one. Don't go with high expectations. Driving around for 4hrs and only seeing less than a handful of different animals is depressing. Animals come out to play at sunrise and sunset so AVOID during the day but sadly the park closes at sunset so it’s really rubbish. Best park of the whole day was outside the national park when an large elephant walked past on the road.Written 23 December 2024
- Sirkku W0 contributionsGreat adventureGreat experience, well planned. We saw lot of animals, many elephants and other animals too. Driver and a quide were very friendly and they explained well about the nature and animals.Written 23 December 2024
- luciezp0 contributionsWilpattu safariOur guide was amazing!!! He was a very safe driver who really knew what he was doing and gave us a a full off roading experience along with the experience of the safari and seeing all the animals. We were very fortunate to see leopards as well as lots of other animals. We would highly recommend booking this tour!Written 12 December 2024
- 796serenah0 contributionsSafari 1st timers! My husband and I embarked on our first safari in Sri Lanka. It was well worth the experience. We saw a lot of animals, but the highlight was catching a glimpse of 2 leopards. They were hiding behind some trees but you could distinctly see them. We saw a bear, lots of deer, peacock, turtle, warthog, birds, a fox and a monkey. I do recommend, but please note it is a bumpy ride so mentally prepare for that. The company was awesome to work with! It’s family friendly as well.Written 11 December 2024
- Z481XQjayd0 contributionsLovely afternoon in the Yala ParkGood communication through out and our guide for the Yala jeep trip was awesome. So friendly and had eyes like a hawk and found all the animals for us to photograph. Lovely chap. Thanks so much.Written 11 December 2024
- 797rixtd0 contributions4(!)LeopardsSuper amazing time! We had a great guide who made sure we saw as much as we could. We saw 4(!) leopards which was a special experience. Thanks for the great timeWritten 9 December 2024
- GurudevR0 contributionsVillage tour and food in SigiriaTaste of hospitality in a village tour in Sri Lanka. It is a wonderful and well crafted package tour of around 2 hours. We reached a spot where tickets are sold on the highway, first a jeep, then a bullock cart or a tractor trip in a rough terrain, twenty minutes boat ride and reaching a point where food is ready in a small hut. Lots of love and affection at every point and more so in the food service makes everything memorable. All at twenty dollars for members from SAARC nations. RecommendedWritten 9 December 2024
- shrir3810 contributionsOnce in a lifetime experienceTravceylon Leisure did an excellent job coordinating the whole trip. They arranged the jeep, guide/tracker (Mr Asela), park tickets, bottle of water and a king coconut (drink and snack). They even proactively reached out before the tour to let us know that there were fewer elephants in Kaudulla as they had migrated to Hurulu, so they let us switch tours. As a result, we got to see a lot of elephants. The whole experience was well timed and didn't feel rushed. They are more expensive than other providers, but they arrange everything for you. Their guide/tracker also knew where to go to get to the elephants.Written 8 December 2024
