In the morning, your driver and guide pick you up from your hotel and take you around the city in an air-conditioned vehicle.
Head to the river Yamuna to see Raj Ghat, Mahatma Gandhi’s memorial and the place where he was cremated fin 1948. View the landscaped gardens and black marble monument to Gandhi, then continue to the Red Fort. The stunning 17th-century sandstone fortress contains exquisite palaces and gardens inside the thick walls. Opposite the Red Fort, take in the impressive Jama Masjid, India’s largest mosque, which was built in 1656 for the fifth Mughal Emperor of India, who also built the Taj Mahal in Agra.
Take a break for lunch (own expense), then head into New Delhi to check out Humayun’s Tomb and Qutub Minar, and drive past the Rashtrapati Bhawan (President's House) and India Gate.
Your tour ends with drop-off at your hotel in Delhi.
