a good way to start the day
Apr 2021 • Solo
I was apprehensive about taking a food tour during COVID, but felt that appropriate precautions were taken to ensure safety. Prithviraj was knowledgeable about the city’s history, and the food. The food was not only tasty, but linked to the different spaces and stories of Old Delhi. The company was able to accommodate adjustments in time to fit the tour into my schedule, and helped organize transport to and from the tour in Delhi.

Amazing Old Delhi Breakfast with Harshit! 100% Recommended
Mar 2020
If you are a foodie and want experiment the real flavours of Old Delhi, these FoodWalks should me a must in your agenda when visiting India.
@Harshit was an amazing guide, before we started with the tour, he made sure to confirm about my preferences and food restrictions, he explained to me about the places we were going to cover and he shared very interesting facts about the plates and the history behind them.
I loved to eat side by side with locals, navigating the crazy and crowded alleys of Old Delhi and discovering new flavors. In addition to that, I had the priviledge to visit a Sikh Temple and understand better about this noble religion who is based in serving others.
Thanks @Harshit I spent an amazing morning enjoying Delhi's true flavors. I fully recommend this tour and hope I can do a different one next time I am in India.

Best way to see Old Delhi
Mar 2020 • Friends
This was our first time venturing out into the city since arriving in Dehli. We were a bit nervous as we are two girls but once we met Rohan we were quickly put at ease. What a great guide!!! Was able to navigate us through the busy streets without a problem and was so friendly. Food was delicious and water and hand sanitizer was provided. To top it all off, Rohan shared some amazing cultural insights along the way. It was amazing to see the city through the eyes of a local and we couldnt have picked a better way to do it. Would highly recommend this tour and a special thank you to Rohan who even guided us onto the metro home safely.
Thank you Rohan & Delhi Food Walks!!!

Highlight of the trip!
Jan 2020
We had Virat as a tour guide and he was amazingly informative. All of the food was delicious and definitely a few things we wouldn't have tried on our own. I loved the variety of food we tried and the amount of ground we covered. Not only was it a food tour, it was a pretty all-encompassing tour of the old town as well. I would recommend you not eat before this tour. Even though it was breakfast (and our first meals) we were stuffed after just a few stops and had to ask for half sized portions.

Old Delhi Breakfast Tour
Dec 2019
The breakfast tour was the perfect way to start my day and my time in India. Being a food lover I love going on food tours as they are the best way to immerse yourself into a new culture. The Breakfast tour with Virat was everything I had hoped for. Being of Indian origin but living overseas I had always wanted an authentic Indian food experience and the food walk had everything I had hoped for. The mixture of food and history provided by our guide Virat was perfect as it gave us an understanding of how diverse Indian food is even in a major city like Delhi. I travelled with my friend who was British and this was her first time in India so she wanted to immerse herself into the culture and collectively we both loved the walk. Our favourite food from the Breakfast tour was the Jalebi which was sweet, crispy and full of flavour. I would recommend the Breakfast tour as it is a perfect start to the day both in terms of the food experiences as well as the history behind Old Delhi.

A must do in Delhi!
Jan 2020
Wow! What an amazing tour, an absolute must do if you are in Delhi. Our small group size of 3 people, and wonderful guide, Raj, made for an unforgettable experience. Delhi is an overwhelming and busy city when you first arrive in India, however on this tour I felt safe and was able to immerse myself in the culture. The mix of restaurant and street food was fabulous, and it was great to know that all the food I was eating was safe. All foods we tried were delicious, and it was awesome to hear the history behind each dish and vendor. I would highly recommend the breakfast tour, as I haven't eaten those foods again since being in India. Happy eating!

The best food tour we have ever done
Jan 2020 • Couples
It’s the best way to sample the street food you would normally be a a bit worried to try. Our guide Raj is the nicest guy, he really showed us around Old Delhi, and gave us some good information on the food and the history of Delhi, he also gave us cooking tips, and a recipe to use. We joined the tour with an one other Australian girl, it was her first time in any Asian country and she chose India to be first, talk about throwing yourself in the deep end, but she absolutely loved it, it gave her an insight of the colourful chaos that this city has to offer. Raj didn’t have any plans that day when we finished the tour, so he joined us for some shopping in Chandi Chowk markets, we ended up starting the tour at 8.30am and he was with us until 4pm, he even got the metro with us and helped the Australian girl get back to her hotel safe as she was on her own. We done the dinner tour, and the breakfast tour with Delhi Food Walks, and I highly recommend both of them, they are awesome!

Best food tour in Delhi
We had the pleasure of having Raj guide us around. The food was some of the best food we have ever eaten. We enjoyed every part of it, Raj our guide felt more like a friend taking us out for chai rather than the feeling of a “tour”. We got to experience many things we would not have been able to do on our own. Would recommend this to anyone visiting this area 🌶❤️
