The tour was much more than a food tour. Gaurav tour me places the tourists do not go and tought me about the Indian history and culture. We traveled the laneways and busy streets walking and in rickshaws to various interest places and eating establishments. I highly recommend this tour and make sure you go hungery.

There where four of us on our tour. We had a truly great experience it’s not a cheap tour but it’s worth the money.Our Guide was very knowledgable about Delhi & food!we ate in some places we would never have either never gone in our never found on our own.Our last stop was a fabulous hotel with a first class lunch.We where always offered more .Wish I’d saved room for more lunch.We felt very safe with our guide .

We were escorted through the spice and food markets of Old Delhi by Gaurav Ruhela. GR was extremely well versed in the flavours and spices that were available and chose a fine selection of places to try main courses, finger food and desserts. the whole trip was a thorough immersion in the senses of taste, smell and vision. Highly recommended to enhance your understanding what is behind what appears on your plate in the restaurant.

Whirlwind walking tour of Chandni Chowk market Old Delhi,with a splendid guide Gaurev Rubeta. He was so enthusiastic& fun, clearly in love with his city & the delicious street food to be found. We ate with him at carefully selected places each famous for a particular delicacy. His knowledge of food, religion & history is comprehensive. Luckily we are regulars at the gym. This amazing tour was the perfect addition to our trip in Delhi. The guide was excellent, knowledgeable and accommodating.we ate and indulged in the glorious wonders of local cuisine, the explanations of why copper water cups or the differences in foods was explained in detail...the colours of the city were woven into the day, the animals, people, shops, sites and sounds. We walked the spice market and central market which is a must do.This was definitely a highlight of a 17 day trip.

The food walk of the walled city was a fantastic way of exploring Delhi 6 and the awesome food that it has to offer. From the poori aloo of Chaina Ram to the phirni of Karims, everything that I ate was like something one wouldn't get in any other part of Delhi. The food was very hygenic as well. With more than just curry I explored and learnt so much about a part of my own city that had always been a mystery. The walk of the walled city with more thn just curry is perfect for foodies, history enthusiasits and anyone interested in shopping. The food walk of the walled city is a must do for anyone visting Delhi and also for Delhites who want to explore Delhi 6.

We had a wonderful morning exploring the winding narrow streets of the markets of old Delhi with our guide Gaurav. We tasted many types of foods we'd never eaten before. All in all is was a great experience.

I was in Delhi in November visiting with friends. We were 4 couples and majority of us were seeking some authentic Indian home dining. We came up with this idea via online suggestions and checked out More Than Just Curry. We signed up for the experience and the rest is history! We congratulate More Than Just Curry on successfully establishing this one of a kind concept. We loved the charm of an Indian home, even more charming host, the fabulous spread of dishes prepared in the house, the discussions on cooking techniques in India, the knowledge of spices and ingredients used in Indian cooking, the textiles, the art and culture, the families in general and so much more. It was truly a fulfilling and an insightful evening and we are definitely going to come back for more on our next trip!
