        Great trip with HOLIDAYSAT
What a wonderful trip! The destinations—Agra, Jaipur, and beyond—were simply captivating. The hotels were more than comfortable, offering excellent amenities after a day of exploration. The tour guides were friendly and knowledgeable, making each location come alive with rich stories. The tour manager’s attention to detail and organizational skills made the entire experience stress-free. Traveling in such a large group could have been chaotic, but everything ran so smoothly. I appreciated the balance between guided tours and free time to explore. Truly a memorable journey!

Extensive tour, well organised but there are issues!
The tour is well organised, covers many important sights and includes a lot of driving. The main issues are inconsistent communication with the head office in Delhi regarding the continuation of the tour, unmotivated guides and accomodation. While most of the preparatory exchanges with the agency (Mr. Amit) were satisfactory, by the end of the tour this communication deteriorated significantly. The agent didn't want to give us the information about our final flight from Varanasi to Delhi although he repeatedly said he will do it 'today'? Finally we had to buy the tickets on our own! Unacceptable! Some of the hotels booked for us were very dirty, unpolite staff, under two stars (Jaisalmer, Lucknow). Most of the guides were unqualified to do the job. meaning that they were focused on their story, not on customers. The guide is a central figure of the tour and should do everything to make a destination interesting. If they speak in a low voice and with an unarticulated accent, repeating phrases anyone can find on the internet, this is the best way to deter the clients. Mr. Aiji in Varanasi was the only professional guide we had, and the gentleman in Udaipur, although young, impressed us with his proactive attitude and brightness. The others - to be forgotten. The special chapter of this tour is - driving. People in India, generally drive very dangerously. Each sequence of the tour was stressfull: cars and bikes too close to each other, constantly blowing horns, too many unecessary speeding and sudden breaking, many cars drive in opposite direction, dangerously by - passing slower vehicels, animals walking freely on a driveway etc. Our drivers did well in these circumstances but would fail certainly fail driving exam in Europe. When we requested a slow down, it lasted only for couple of minutes. At the end we gave up, praying for safe arrival. Overland tour in India is not for everyone! We understand this this is not an agency related issue, but it is also evident that drivers were not briefed about driving guests coming from different driving cultures.

This was an unforgettable adventure! The Taj Mahal in Agra was beyond words, and the temples in Varanasi were awe-inspiring. The accommodations were excellent, and the guides made each stop come to life with their insights. Rajasthan’s forts were majestic, and the camel ride in Jaisalmer was a unique experience. Overall, this tour was the perfect way to experience the diverse beauty of India.

I had an incredible time on the Rajasthan. The team was super helpful in arranging everything, and our guide was absolutely top-notch. He was incredibly knowledgeable about all the places we visited and provided fascinating details and insights. The accommodations were comfortable, and the transportation was smooth. But what really made the trip exceptional was our guide's expertise and passion for sharing Rajasthan's rich culture and history.

        An Amazing Introduction to India
An amazing experience for this first-time traveller to India. The full package from seamless transfers to and from Delhi Airport, accommodation, driver in comfortable vehicle, and the most magnificent sites and knowledgeable guides is highly recommended for first-time travellers to India. My recommendation is to make the most of the experience eating only Indian food (plenty of safe places with magnificent food) and absorbing the sights sounds and smells of India. And take and share Los of photos. Family and friends will love them and want to come as well. The highlight: the Taj Mahal really is a wonder of the world. Absolutely magnificent.

        A Wonderful Introductio to India
Booked through Tourradar, HolidaysAt provided a wonderful introduction to India on their Golden Triangle tour. Amit was very helpful in providing information during my booking. My only issue was in trying to ascertain the names of hotels or similar of where I would be staying, which was necessary for visa application and to notify family. As a sole female traveller, I will admit to some trepidation, but my fears were allayed when I excited the Delhi Airport and was given a warm welcome by Suresh, tour guide for the 6 day tour. The Goodwill Hotel was well below the standard I was expecting, the room was unclean, and there was no functioning restaurant. Meals had to be ordered and taken in the room. This was rectified swiftly by Amit the following night when conditions at the hotel became unsafe and the 6 members on our Group tour were moved to the Saket Hotel, a lovely hotel. From this moment on, our tour around Delhi, to Agra and Jaipur, and back to Delhi was exceptionally good. Suresh was our tour guide for the entire trip. His love for India and his sharing of an indepth knowledge of all the sights we visited were greatly appreciated and made this trip an unforgettable experience. He went above and beyond to ensure we all enjoyed and were safe on our tour. Our transport was very clean and comfortable with an excellent driver. On arrival back in Delhi, we were welcomed back to Saket Hotel by Amit and provided the opportunity to offer any feedback. The sights seen were amazing, especially he Taj Mahal, which was on my bucket list. Thank you, Amit and HolidaysAt, for a wonderful introduction to India and a special thank you to Suresh for all your wonderful care and attention during our tour.

Amazing 24-Day Tour of Southern India
From Mumbai to Goa, then a 2,500 km road trip through Karnataka , Kerala and Tamil Nadu. From the backwaters of Kerala to the southern most point on mainland India up to pondicherry and Chennai. It was truly a wonderful journey with memorable sites of ancient temples and palaces from Hampi and Mysuru and many more. Thanks to my intrepid driver throughout my journey - Johnson who kept me safe on some very challenging roads. Also to all my guides along the way with their incredible knowledge of the local areas. Also a big thank you to Amit who coordinated my tour which included flights, driver, guides, hotels etc. Not an easy task on a 24 day trip. Highly recommend Holidays At for any tours they have an extensive choice of experiences.

A short 1 night (1.5 days) visit to Ujjain (Noon to next day night)
Brief idea regarding Ujjain tour - Plan your hotel near Mahakal temple. Bit costly but are very convenient as yu can visit Mahakal ji anytime and commuting is easy. One of the location is Harifaatak road which is near to it. Please be informed that maximum hotels have very cramped room, so choose wisely. Day 1 - Mahakal temple, Harsiddhi temple and Ganesh temple in near vicinity of 1 kilometer. At Mahakaal you can buy Sheeghra darshan ticket for Rs 250, which saves your time. They will also ask for mobile deposit, but if yu can manage risk, try carrying mobile inside for pics. PS - if there is not much crowd and provided no checking is going on, you may plan taking your camera inside to get few pics of premises as it has lot many small temples in Mahakal ji area. Then comes the Mahakaal lok, a MUST visit, which will take around 1-2 hours. In that area is one DURLABH DARSHAN kendra with VR facility of Bhasm Arti and Shivling information.....A MUST WATCH , you will feel as if you are there in the temple in front of Lord Shivling, awsummm experience. - I am not writing of morning Bhasm Arti as i did not try that, you can have that information on google and temple site for online booking. Day 2 - Plan visit of Kal Bhairav, Gadkalika, Sidhhvat, hrinmukteshwar, Mangalnath ji and Sandipani Ashram. This will take around 3-5 hours subject to crowd at Kal Bhairav and Mangalnath temple (here you can buy sheeghra darshan for Rs 100). -You may take e-rickshaw or Auto which would cost from Rs 400-700. Your Auto person shall plan and get it done as per the route convenience which is not a problem. -At Kal Bhairav you can offer liquor from nearby shop, i would advise you buy the same beforehand as its very costly at that location shops. I bought my brand for Rs 1300, which outside would be around 800-900 per quarter. - if time remains you may plan for Chintamani Ganesh temple which is quite far from there and on negotiations E rickshaw or Auto may further ask from Rs 200-400 extra. In all it will take max 1.5 hrs extra if you visit that place which is normally not that crowded. - At Mangalnath outside vendor shall offer you to take bouqet of offering for Rs 100/ RS 150/ Rs 250, you may plan as per your need if you will be using those yantras and maalas at home else buy wisely, as in my first visit i spent bit more and thats why making a note of it. - You can leave shoes at vendor from where you buy offerings - try buying offerings from mid area shops and ignore most nearby esp at Chintamani temple, as it would not be fresh as most crowd buy either at start or mid area, so freshness due to heavy sale is better there. - While going from Mahakaal temple to Harsidhi temple from gullies do try to have lassi from side shops. - Plan for evening visit to Harsiddhi temple as evening arti with lightening of Diyas is very cool. - Ignore buying paranthas or deep fry things etc from rehdi waala as the oil they use is very bad, better buy from shop good shop. - Poha, Sabudana Khichdi and lassi are good to try, rest all routine food is available. - You can buy Mahakal T Shirts and kurta from there for Rs 100-150 as per size and quality - Do advise the chef/vendor for Mirchi as per your taste as they eat hell lot of lal mirch powder. - Try pedas (sweet) from gullies surrounding Mahakaal temple - very delicious. - There may be other places but i am giving you my account of journey only as guide. - If you go to Indore to catch flight or train, do plan to visit Khajrana temple of Lord Ganesha, which is very beautiful. Hope i am able to give basic insights which are helpful. Mine visit was short for 1.5 days only, but would advise at least 2 nights visit for peaceful tour.

This was an excellent trip! Amit worked hard, to keep all our logistics in line, both before the trip, and during the trip he was in constant contact with the guides and driver. Hotels chosen were excellent and he made the modifications for the hotels we chose, based on TripAdvisor reviews, as we requested. We made several changes to the trip itinerary as well, which made it customized to incorporate our interests and levels of activity, and he was very easy to work with to make this happen. We were able to do all the planning from the United States, and it went very smoothly in India. I recommend this company, without reservation.
