What a superb introduction to India and some of its many, many incredible monuments and places. Vishnu was my guide to Agra and the Taj Mahal and I couldn’t have asked for anyone better. He’s fun company, extremely knowledgeable and by the end of our day, (during which he took fantastic photos for me — he knows all the best angles 😂) I was calling him Mr Philosopher. If he had been a guru, I’d probably sign up to follow him. He’s just terrific company and wise beyond his years. I was very moved by the Taj Mahal, it was unspeakably gorgeous. I arrived fairly world weary, and left feeling humbled and in awe. Vijay was my wonderful guide in Jaipur. He’s highly intuitive and, of course, highly knowledgeable about this gorgeous Pink City. Beyond the stunning and hushed museums and monuments, which I loved, Vijay kindly gave me options for what else I might like to see. I suspect he sensed I might’ve had enough of major monuments by half way through day 4, so offered to take me where the locals go — a wonderful fruit market, we saw a guru arriving, watched from a short a distance a very impressive Hindu ceremony, ate unforgettable street food, found the most delicious masala chai, and basically had a lot of fun. At my request, he’d arranged a trip to Jaipur’s extraordinary home of block printing, where I was allowed by the kind owner, Mr Singh, to ‘play’ with the printing, learn a great deal about the dyes and processes, meet many of the staff sewing, printing, etc, and take videos of the stunning fabrics so I can order clothes and bedding once I’m home. I ordered a pretty cotton salwar kameez and it was tailored in the fabric of my choice and delivered to my hotel a few hours later, with much help from Vijay. We then dropped into a small jewellers so I could buy a tiny gemstone for my infant granddaughter. He gave me many other options for further activities (feeding elephants, yoga, more monuments, etc) and put no pressure on me when I said no, I think I’m done for today. It was a joyous and exciting day and I loved it. Vijay is a great guide and Jaipur is a dream destination. Throughout the 5 days I was driven by the wonderful Kuldeep Singh. He was kind, gentle, patient, always gracious, and a very good driver. I sometimes snoozed on the longer drives and it was easy to do so as he kept a steady even pace. Every morning and whenever he saw I’d finished my last bottle, he’d hand me a new bottle of water. He’d ask me what time I’d like to start each day, and always he’d be there ahead of time, his car sparkling, ready to take my heavy bags and in simplest terms, treat me like a queen. I’d highly recommend this tour — and these people. It was wonderful, fun, interesting and I learned a great deal.

I enjoyed the trip from Delhi, Jaipur, Agra, Ayodhya and Varanasi with Vishnu. He is very kind, respectful and knowledgeable. Great memories were made with him. The was a beautiful your of Dehli, Agra, Jaipur & Varanasi. Lots of history which was very interesting. Only thing is india is very chaotic and busy but luckily our guide vishnu was able to support us through huge crowds. Vishnu was very knowledgeable and attentive. It was a great experience for us. All hotels arrangements and guides were excellent and up to the mark. Thanks for the support and prompt response. The driver (Tikam) was very cooperative, polite and friendly. His driving skills were excellent and safe. Unfortunately he did't speak English very fluently but at the very end we could always under stand each other.

I really love this magic tour of golden triangle. we met many amazing people who accompanied and made us feel at home. our driver had a lot of delicious restaurant to advise and we learnt a lot about indian culture from him, our guides explained us everything passionately and without them we'd miss a lot of interesting details about what we saw. We planned this small tour of 7 friends back in 2019 just before covid but left our itinerary and deposit with GeTs in the hope that we would Be travelling soon . Our agent in Delhi mr. Deepak G was in continuous contact with me to confirm Every aspect , answer any question and to offer suggestions and advice . Our tour 21 days(golden triangle and Varanasi) was well planned and organised which took any stress away from us on holiday . We had our own driver, Rakesh,who looked after us and the bus with great care . Not only was a great driver but he was also a good person to have with you on holiday . Our accommodation were of a high standard and even including ‘glamping’ in Rathambore which was perfect for a national park setting . At each new city we had the services of a local Representative for GeTs and a local Guide so we were very well taken care of . I Couldnt thank Deepak and his crew in The office and the field for the way in which they looked after us .

I booked a food tour directly with GETS through their website based on a recommendation from my hotel. For 110 USD, I expected an experience I couldn’t get on my own without the help of a guide but that is not what I got. The tour guide took me on a walking tour through the bazaars. We stopped at 3 places for food (I was promised ~8), one of which is one of the most popular places in Jaipur (LMB). Furthermore I ate food that is common all over India and very little unique to Rajisthan. I learned nothing about Rajisthani culture or cuisine. To be fair, when I reached out to the booking agent the day after to express my concern they offered another opportunity to eat Rajisthani cuisine but I was not interested in eating at another tourist trap. I appreciate they tried to make it right but in the end, I would not recommend a food tour with GETS. Without question, you can find better value for your money in Jaipur.

The taj mahal and fort agra was good, the tour guide knows history and all however, he asked for additional tip aside from what we willingly gave, and he took us to some shops like handicrafts gallery that sells some overpriced stuff because I think he gets commissions from them

We made our way to Agra from Delhi by a private driver that we booked in advance. The journey took us nearly 4 hours. Once we arrived in Agra, we met Vishnu, an amazing local tour guide for Taj-Mahal. He is super friendly, helpful, and easy to converse with. Not to mention, he helped us to avoid the entry line into Taj-Mahal, which saved us hours of time. Before making our way towards the Taj-mahal itself, he made sure that we had all we wanted and were safe and happy. We felt like we were in very good hands with Vishnu. His passion and knowledge about the history and architecture behind this monument, made us constantly engaged and alert for the entire tour. It was truly a fantastic experience. All the questions we had along the way were answered extremely well, which provided us insights and increased understanding of the things we wanted to understand. We also appreciated that he was willing to be flexible, especially when we were feeling a little tired after the long drive from Delhi. He would ask us our opinion if we wanted to see more/less or go at whatever pace we would like. He never rushed through the tour. Additionally, if we had any request, he would promptly take care of it as well. He certainly made things easier for us. Besides, he showed us the best spots to take nice pictures and even assisted in taking photos of us. His kind attention and genuine interest in us throughout the day gave us the impression of having a close friend in India. He made our day as enjoyable as possible. We cannot recommend him highly enough. We really enjoyed his service.

We had a wonderful and eventful trip in Agra, India. Our day was guided by Vishnu. Even though it was rainy that day, it was well coordinated by our guide starting from buying tickets to iconic Taj Mahal and knowledgable touring on Taj Mahal history. Our family enjoyed this trip and made new memories. We would definitely recommend this tours agency because of the hospitality and the care we received.
