While in the bustling city of Mumbai, enjoy a delicious home cooking and dining session with a local. Join your host Garima and her family at their beautiful home near Garware House in Andheri East, Mumbai which is about 10 minutes away from the International Airport. The experience will start with an introduction to Indian cuisine. Then Garima will teach you some of the dishes from the menu like pyaaz ki kachori (fried pastry stuffed with onion fillings), bajra roti (pearl millet hand made flatbread) and papad ki churri (an interesting dish made with popadoms, onions, tomatoes). Feel free to ask questions about the use of spices in Indian cooking. Post the cooking session, you can sit back relax and enjoy a scrumptious meal with Garima and her family. The entire experience can last for around 2-3 hours.
PS: This is not a professional cooking class, but an opportunity to interact with a local family and learn the tips and tricks of Indian cooking.
