- darokl0 contributionsExcellent Rajasthan TourWe had a wonderful experience on this tour! We started with this tour template and VWI were very flexible to customize the tour to our needs. We had one driver, Ishak, through the entire tour and he was excellent, going out of his way to make us comfortable. Guides in each city were great as well. We very much enjoyed the itinerary that VWI put together - we had to do very little thinking and planning for ourselves, VWI handled everything (car, driver, guides, hotels, etc) allowing us to sit back and enjoy. Sukret from VWI also checked in with us several times during our trip to make sure we were having a good time. Highly, highly recommend VWI and this tour of Rajasthan!Written 30 November 2024
- bonnelavie0 contributionsA first rate package - VIP treatmentThis tour was 7 days, and it was really quite a complex itinerary, so this will be quite long, but hopefully worth persevering. The whole tour was managed brilliantly, with useful contact before our arrival in India and reassuring messaging to brief us on details as the tour progressed. At each stop, we were expected and welcomed with charm friendliness and efficiency. Our guides were all extremely knowledgeable and personable. They were also skilled photographers with our phones, knowing the best places to take shots at each monument. All of our drivers were magnificent, calm, patient, skilful in negotiating the occasional insane traffic conditions. And great company, for the longer road journeys. Our hotels were all of a good standard, and pretty much without exception, their restaurants were excellent. The train transfers were fun, adventures which gave us opportunities to meet Indian folk and other travellers. Our time at Varanasi had a different tone from the magnificence of Delhi, Jaipur and Agra. This was, in turn, fascinating poignant and moving. The conduct of everyone we encountered was welcoming, and we felt like royalty at times. The coordination of the whole trip was first rate and professional, but also flexible, permitting us to make additional stops, for example, including Fatehpur Sikri, where a guide managed our visit brilliantly despite our arrival latish in the afternoonWritten 24 November 2024
- 53ariannal0 contributionsTourWe had very good experience with this tour. The drive mr. Ishaak came to pick us up at our hotel in Jaipur and drove us to the fort at ranthambore and gave us some time to visit it. After it we went for lunch in the restaurant of an hotel, which was included in the tour and the food was very good. We then started the safari in canters. After that the driver drove us back to the hotel in Jaipur. He always provided water when needed and explained few things on the road. I really recommend this tour as the service is very good and everything needed is provided. Very good experience.Written 17 November 2024
- E8717MCemilyo0 contributionsPuskhar Day TripExcellent day trip from Jaipur. The driver and tour guides were excellent and very knowledgeable. - kevinpX173XK0 contributionsNot a quality experienceWe booked this trip 3 months in advance, paying £102 each. Our driver was excellent, keeping us safe during the 7hr round trip. The little Suzuki car however, was ill suited to this length of journey, I’m 5’ 10’’ and was uncomfortable for most of the day. Lunch was good and then we were picked up by the safari guide. Our vehicle was one of the old buses, it had 17 seats, but 19 people were crammed on board, some couples were unable to sit together - completely unacceptable - we were like sweaty sardines for the 4hr safari. Due to the overcrowding it was difficult to see wildlife on the opposite side of the vehicle to where you were sitting. It’s worth being aware that unlike safaris in other parts of the world these vehicles have no cover, so hats and sunscreen are essential. Also unlike every other trip we have done in India, no water is provided so stock up whenever you can. This trip could be easily improved if the above issues were addressed but as such I can’t endorse it.Written 26 October 2024
- MrsP-Somerset0 contributionsDisappointing in several waysFirstly, our driver Neeto was superb, he arrived on time, drove safely and considerately and was polite and pleasant throughout the day. And this is a really long day… We left our hotel in Jaipur at 7:30 and didn’t get to Ranthambore until about 11:30, so the journey was more like 4 hours on the way with a brief stop, thankfully only 3 hours 10 on the way back with no stop. When you arrive in Ranthambore after that 4 hour journey you go straight to the temple which is a long hot climb of about 15 minutes. It’s described in the itinerary as a fort, but essentially it’s an old temple. We’ve seen some amazing forts and temples in India, this was not one of them and we would happily have missed this and either left Jaipur later or done an earlier safari. We quickly came back down and went to the hotel for lunch, which was great, buffet style lunch, food was good - no complaints. We were picked up by one of the Canter vehicles, these are big, old utility vehicles that seat 17, NOT the jeep shown in the cover photo for the trip. Ours had 19 people in it, plus the guide and driver, and was really uncomfortable, you felt every bump and given how many people were squeezed in, it was badly lacking in space. *There is no cover at all so you are in full sun.* Nearly 4 hours in this was hard work. If you have a bad back, this is not for you! We booked this trip from the UK 3 months in advance, so the excuses given in other responses to reviews don’t apply. We did complain afterwards to the tour operator who said that the jeep was fully booked - 3 months in advance?? The first thing our guide told us was that tigers are morning animals and sleep in the afternoons, so it seems odd that this trip has an afternoon safari. We didn’t see any tigers, and of course we know this is down to luck, but just be aware this is a 14 hour day with a slim chance of seeing tigers in the afternoon. It’s also worth being aware that, unlike every other trip we have done here, NO water is provided during the day, so you will need to take your own. We did get to see crocodiles, deer, monkeys and a leopard. However given how uncomfortable the vehicle was, we can’t recommend.Written 26 October 2024
- Scenic555339984930 contributionsGreat experience! We had a great experience with VWI. First of all, our driver, Mr Singh, was excellent—attentive, drove safely, provided us with water, and offered safety advice despite his limited English. All accommodations were comfortable and clean, with good breakfast options. The guides were friendly and knowledgeable, although some were slightly pushy in bringing us to touristy shops with inflated prices. Similarly, some the restaurants recommended by guides were touristy and expensive (although all were very clean!); would suggest to have more local recommendations to enhance the experience. Finally, we appreciated Mr Sharma's support and responsiveness before and during our trip. The communication with him was easy and we could customize our itinerary to suit our taste and needs. Would definitely recommend them for your trip to India!Written 23 October 2024
- AnnaM24120 contributionsEnjoyable cooking class with friendly hostI enjoyed a fabulous cooking class with the lovely Dipti. The family were very gracious hosts, welcoming me to their home. I learned how to make chapati, dahl tadka, paneer curry and rice pudding. I look forward to making these recipes when I return home!Written 23 October 2024
- tomwX9649PH0 contributionsGreat well-paced day out with understanding and knowledgable guidesGreat day out at Pushkar in comfortable car. Although driving was fast, it was comfortable and I did not get car sick at all (I usually do) Activities in Pushkar are well paced - Hindhu Gayathri temple to start off - Holy Lake next with (optional) donation and merit making. - Vegetarian lunch at local restaurant - Savitri temple the local guides were super helpful in explaining about the sites and helping my mother who has difficulties walking after 3-4 days of walking in Jaipur and Agra. Overall a great day!!Written 17 October 2024
- EmmaCassidy990 contributionsExcellent tour and guide! We did a round trip tour to Rathambore from Jaipur. The booking process was really simple and the company were very responsive and easy to work with! I could not recommend our driver Ishak more! Ishak was incredibly friendly and professional, told us several times that we could stop at any point to use the bathroom or get something to eat, he made the journey very pleasant and easy! I would highly recommend this tour to others!Written 17 October 2024
- At0m1cDhD0 contributionsLovely cooking classA friend and I went to a cooking class led by Bobby’s wife and it was amazing. They were so welcoming and we learned how to easily make some very traditional dishes. I left very inspired and exited to try cooking these dishes at home. Would definitely recommend!Written 15 October 2024
- N5668UFellieh0 contributionsZone 2 - tigersThe tour was really well organised - we had an excellent driver, Mr. Neetu who had a clean, comfortable car to take us from Jaipur to the tigers. We stopped off at Ranthambhore fort en route and had a delicious lunch at a nearby hotel. Our canter picked us up from the hotel at 2.30 and we were on safari in zone 2 until 5.45. We were lucky enough to see 4 tigers! It is a long journey from Jaipur but we felt it was worth it after seeing the tigers.Written 14 October 2024

Wonderful yoga experience. A driver picked us up and dropped us off to and from our hotel. He was attentive to our abilities and limits and pushed us in a very rewarding way. The views from the rooftop were nice also, with a distant view of amber fort. He was engaging conversationally and his English was good! We also enjoyed meeting his kind family and seeing his humble home.

He adapts the exercises according to each person's pain
Yoga is done on the roof of his house, it has a beautiful view of the city.

I really enjoyed my yoga session with Mr. Ashok, and his son sukret. It was a lovely setting on his rooftop, so peaceful and a great way to start the day.
The visit included tea and biscuits made by his wife , and also taxi pickup from my hotel.
If you are interested in yoga and enjoy meeting people I recommend this trip

We did both the yoga and the cooking class. Yoga was super interesting, would recommend if you are keen on learning about the different types of yoga, we did a lot of breath work. Was nice location on rooftop, good to get away from the hustle and bustle of the city. The cooking class with Raveena was incredible!!! Such a welcoming environment, lovely clean kitchen and great range of dishes. She was very informative and most importantly the food tasted amazing. It gave us some great basic Indian recipes to take back home with and share with my family and friends. If you can’t go along to her class follow her Instagram and YouTube food with raveena.

I spent three weeks attending morning yoga sessions with Ashok. Being a complete beginner, I appreciated his ability to tailor the sessions to my level and preferences. Throughout the days, I noticed significant progress in my practice.
Ashok is truly delightful; his English proficiency is adequate, and the post-yoga tea sessions provided a wonderful opportunity for camaraderie. I thoroughly enjoyed the experience

We enjoyed our yoga session this morning. We were picked up from our homestay and dropped off at Ashrok’s home, where he took us up to the rooftop. It was early, so the sun was too low and it wasn’t too hot! He took us through different moves and breathing exercises, which seemed to be his daily routine. He made sure to give us tips as we went, as both of us are fairly new to yoga, so we could get the most out it. We then had a lovely cup of chai and chatted to his kind family. Definitely an authentic experience in Jaipur!

We loved morning yoga with Mr.Ashok! He was very patient with our family, as we are all beginners in yoga. It was my parents first time and this was an experience totally out of their comfort zone but our instructor made them feel comfortable and confident. We are lucky to have met Mr. Ashok and his beautiful family. This is a must do Indian cultural experience!

The yoga was very enjoyable. Ashok is very knowledgeable. We have done yoga before many times but we still learned some new poses and ideas from Ashok. After yoga we were invited to have breakfast with him and had a lovely time meeting his family. I would highly recommend this experience to anyone visiting Jaipur.

I enjoyed the class and learned a lot! It was quite informal, I liked the location on the rooftop and as it was near the kite festival it was lovely to see all the children playing with the kites. After the class we shared a delicious cup of tea. Ashok was a good teacher and made sure I was doing the poses right. Definitely a nice experience!
