Excellent tour guide. Seriously awesome. I am a solo traveler who wanted an opportunity to explore Darjeeling's beautiful landscape. The tour guide arrived on time, was very friendly, and spoke excellent English. I also got an opportunity to practice some of my mediocre Hindi as well. The guide ensured that you were prepared for the hike, was flexible to evolving needs, and was very familiar with the area. This guide was a professional, able to answer questions and providing insight as to the history of the area and the culture of Darjeeling as well. He knew both common and unfamiliar landmarks and pointed them out along the way. Highly recommend for solo travelers, would likely be awesome with families as well. Also, the guide was great with photos. I have some awesome shots from the hike. Darjeeling a very beautiful. Do this tour. You will not regret.

The tour was excellent and guide good. However I wish to complain that I was I was charged another IR3000 for the guide whereas the original booking said a guide was included.Yo Tours said this figure was for the entrance to the park which was incorrect. I also paid IR 780 for the entrance fee.The guide was only recruited the night before and was freelance.I would be grateful if you could credit me with a refund of IR3000. I would add that I found Yo Tours very unsatisfactory. They don't answer the phone or return phone calls and didn't even turn up for one tour for which you have already refunded me.

Tiger hill is famous for its sunrise view, as on your right-hand side there is sunrise hue is coming up in the sky and its first rays touch Kanchenjunga mountain. Very know place to visit. We should reach with 3:30 am. After few moment we will see the one of the best view on the earth. The beauty of kanchanjunga Fascinated you. You just lost your word to describe this beautiful view.

I have completed the my pleasure trip to Darjeeling with my wife. we both are senior citizens and we have planned to celebrate our golden jubilee marriage anniversary.we find the place is highly crowded and looks like pilgrimage centre. Huge traffic jams ( some time the car speed in the city is 3 km /hr ), We spent more time on the roads in the car. The place is not suitable for senior citizens and people with restricted moments. It became highly commercial and we could not enjoy as we expected. But, I found the other hill station station Kalimpong is very good for nature lovers . It is very clean and cheaper. we felt that we should have stayed more days in Kalimpong rather than Darjeeling. Though the distance between Bagdogra airport to Darjeeling is only 3 hrs please add another 2 hours to reach your hotel in Darjeeling. On he whole i find that Darjeeling is highly over rated hill station

The worst food tour ever. The organizer sent an unprepared tour guide that took us to restaurants versus places where we can try sample foods. Made us pay in the beginning and had to contact the tour company to clear the air that we already paid and should pay additional on the tour. Then at the end of the tour, the tour company told our guide that he should only cover 800 rupees and the rest we should pay. The guide was briefed slightly about the your earlier in the day but came unprepared to the point where he was asking us where we wanted to go! There was also no storytelling and we were pulling teeth to get any history or information about the places, the city, and the food. The tour was a complete disaster so we cancelled a walking tour with the same company as well to go with another company.
