Overview
Cover more ground in less time with a guide who knows the fastest routes around Shanghai. Visit attractions such as the Jade Buddha Temple, People’s Park, the Bird and Flower Market, Shanghai Confucian Temple, the Bund, and Nanjing Road, hearing commentary along the way. Because this is a private tour, you’ll have plenty of time for questions. Pay your own way on public transportation or upgrade for a private driver.
What to Expect
Your private guide will collect you from your Shanghai hotel and accompany you to People’s Park, home to the Museum of Contemporary Art and, if you’ve booked a weekend afternoon tour, the Shanghai Marriage Market. Once you’ve finished people-watching, your next stop is the Flower and Bird Market.
Continue on to visit the Jade Buddha Temple, followed by a stop at the Shanghai Confucian Temple (entrance to both is at your own expense). Finally, enjoy the shops of Nanjing Road and the skyscrapers and historic architecture of the Bund.
If there’s time left over, feel free to request another stop. If not, your guide will escort you back to your hotel.
