Qibao Town, literally: "Seven Treasures Town" in Chinese, and it is a town in Minhang District, Shanghai. If you are a foodie and also like scenery of the ancient town, this tour fits you well. What to Expect
Greet your guide in People’s Square and board the subway to Qibao Town. Stroll along Old Street, admiring the historic buildings, beautiful stone bridges, and tranquil canals.
The south side of Old Street is known for its street food. Here, your guide will introduce you to up to eight foods. You might try beggar’s chicken, lotus-leaf pork, crab-meat dumplings, Haitang cake, or Qibao specialties like cooked mutton with special sauce. Then continue on to visit a teahouse next to a canal, and savor a cup of Chinese tea.
Upgrade to enjoy a traditional Chinese foot massage before your guide walks you back to the subway station, from where you’ll make your own way home.
