Wonderful way to relax
Jul 2021 • Couples
What a wonderful way to spend the day! This is a very well kept resort and not at all crowded. The hot springs we're perfect, I saw staff check the temperature of the pools at intervals all day. The food was quite good and the live music at dinner was lovely. We were very happy with our experience.

We loved this place!
Jan 2021
We absolutely loved this place and the package they are offering! We bought a day pass with a lunch included. Everything was excellent! Staff was very flexible, helpful and professional. The pools were beautiful, surrounded by tropical plants. There was plenty of room to rest. One of the pools had a bar, where we could enjoy some drinks and snacks. Lunch was also delicious. Highly recommend this place!

Great for couples, lots of COVID precautions.
Nov 2020
This place was incredible! After hiking the 1968 trail and walking the hanging bridges, we wanted a relaxing afternoon. We were considering whether we should go do the free thermal springs or come here, and we are so happy we decided to come here.

First, the price was right. We payed about $25 per person, which was very reasonable. Once inside, we found the pools to be almost empty, and we had the place to ourselves. The staff was incredibly serious about COVID - after you sat at a table, you would flip the sign indicating it needed to be sanitized before another person used it. This was one of the most serious attractions we visited re: COVID.

In terms of the polls and the experience, we couldn't have enjoyed it more. The differing temperatures of the polls was fun to experience, and we were able to watch sunset from the back pool before exploring the rest of the resort. The drinks were on the expensive side for Costa Rica ($8/$10 per drink), but were all made with fresh fruit and were really good. That did not bother us.

This is perfect for couples and those looking to decompress after a day of exercise!

Very relaxing after the Volcanic Summit Hike!
Mar 2020
Price reasonable for an all day ticket, but we went on Volcanuc Summit hike (3 hrs) first and then came to the Hot Springs. It may not look as “flashy” as an entrance as you see with others, but it is very nice inside. Very clean inside and well organized. Several hot baths and small cold baths. Nice pool bar to sit at for a drink (evenings it gets crowded so go by 2:00 ish.

Beautiful Place with excellent dining
Feb 2020
We went here one evening , ate dinner and enjoyed the hot springs. The food was very good, really enjoyed the buffet. We visited with small children and wouldn't call the children's pool a great temperature for kids but there are so many options for swimming with all different temperatures. We found the perfect pool for my little ones. It was so nice to be there at night. I would recommend this place to families and adult groups.

Beautiful and relaxing hot spring experience! And delicious lunch
Feb 2020
We stumbled on Paradise Hot Springs after the Don Olivo Chocolate Tour. The outside doesn't capture how absolutely lovely the pools and springs are. There's multiple pools with varying temperatures, as well as small regular pools to cool off in. Beautiful stone loungers in the water, and from the farthest back hot pool, there's a gorgeous view of the volcano. Lush surroundings and the food at the restaurant was delicious. Lockers are nothing special, but this didn't bother us. A wonderful visit!

The bartender at the swim up bar was great
Jan 2020 • Couples
This was a recommended hot spring. Well kept and a great bartender at the pool. He made the day fun. Skip the meal(reason for the score) it was simple, unexciting, and we were disappointed to waste a meal in a location with some outstanding restaurants. It was by far the bottom of our list of meals the entire 3 weeks on Costa Rica.
