          Excellent guide, lots of fun!
I don't often write reviews, but this experience was exceptional! Juan Carlos was our tour guide, and I cannot speak highly enough of his skills as a naturalist and his excellence as a guide. The highlight for us was the first part of the tour through a nature reserve with the hanging bridges where Juan Carlos spotted and identified so many amazing animals that we never would have seen ourselves. He is a terrific speaker and maintained a nice pace for the walk and the wildlife sightings. Hiking the paths below the volcano and swimming in the waterfall were also really fun. My 14 and 18 year old kids were apprehensive about such a long day, but we all agreed the day flew by and was well worth the money!

Amazing First Time in CR Experience
Got picked up at our Hotel Volcano Lodge and Thermal Experience by Angelica and driver Henry. Van had 4 groups including my family.First stop was Mystic Hanging Bridges where we crossed about 12 hanging bridges Angelica was a pro in pointing out wildlife and sharing information about the habitats and forrest. Next stop was arenal volcano where we were giving a brief history and hiked for an hour. Next was lunch at a soda in la Fortuna. So delicious had mango juice choices wer all types of protein and vegetarian. Last was the La Fortuna waterfall due to the rain the waterfall was closed but we were able to take breath taking photos nonetheless and dip in the river. Be prepared ascending and descending the waterfall about 100 steps good workput! Wear hiking / comfortable shoes as there is a lot of walking. Water is provided bring some snacks or eat breakfast. Activity from start to finish was around 8 hours. Amazing staff Henry was a safe driver. Angelica was very entertaining, patient, knowledgable and a great person like everyone we experienced on this trip so far. Worth the purchase for the experience!! Bring bathing suits, water, sunscreen, bugspray, hat and a sense of humor! Pura Vida totalmente!!!!

          Amazing day that flew by!
Valeria was an amazing guide and Henry was a great driver! Valeria was super knowledgeable and took her time explaining the significance of each location that we went to! At first I was worried that this would be too much to do in one day, but it flew by! Highly recommend this tour to anyone!

          So much fun!
Our group of 11 had an amazing time on this tour with a huge shout-out to Wilbert! He was so kind, patient, and knowledgeable about the area and open to any questions we had. We were all just making jokes and having a blast. The locations we went to were beautiful and the food we had was great. It was also very timely and punctual, it was a good amount of time to get everything done. Ronald was also a very good driver especially on the mountains and hills! We definitely recommend going with Wilbert and Ronald :)

          Excellently run business
Juan Carlos was an incredible tour guide. He was very knowledgeable about the wildlife and had his telescope to get us a better look when anyone spotted anything. We were extremely lucky and saw howler monkeys, several snakes/lizards, blue jeans frogs and many interesting birds. He got us lots of great photos on the highest bridge, which was really special. The waterfall similarly was great, he watched all our stuff so the whole group could get in the water. Our luggage was lost so we wouldn't of had walking shoes etc for our original booking . Green vacations were very generous and moved the day for us at the last minute. We went during the wet season so this may have not been possible at another time but very nice of them to sort is out. Very quick replies on WhatsApp. Extremely nice and well run business!

A day of adventure and beauty
What an incredible day! Our guide Juan Carlos and driver Ronald were amazing! We saw so many animals and learned so much about the native flora and fauna. We love adventures that are fun and informative and this was definitely both. The lunch in La Fortuna was fantastic as well! The hike is definitely challenging but absolutely worth it. Thank you for helping make our trip to Costa Rica so special. And special thanks to Juan Carlos for finding both the sloth and toucan for us to see! Pura vida!

          Great experience with our kids!
We had such a wonderful time with Erica! There was a lot of walking but our family of four was able to keep up (with an 11 and 8 year old) and really enjoy it! Our kids were really intrigued by all the facts that Erica knew and all the cool wildlife she spotted for us! The food for lunch was great too! Overall it was awesome and I would recommend this experience to everyone going to the arenal area!

Great trip, be ready to walk!
We did a self guided tour. The bridges were fun, some are busy and you don’t get much time for pictures. We had an 8 and 11 year old with us, and they were definitely ready for the hike to be over. I think it’s about 2 miles or so, up and down hills, so does require some energy. The drink hub has great smoothies, definitely recommend the soursop and passion fruit!!

Amazing sites with an amazing guide
Juan Carlos and our driver Henry were incredible. The tour was on time, the knowledge and passion JC had were incredibly engaging, and the sites themselves were amazing. The casado lunch was also delicious. We were able to see 3 distinct areas and never spend more than 25 minutes in transit. Would highly recommend to anyone looking for some real nature hiking.

One of the best tours in Arenal!
Juan Carlos was an amazing guide. Loved how passionate he was about everything on the tour. We saw so much wildlife from snakes, frogs to howler monkeys and more. Highly recommend. Also recommend a poncho, and hiking shoes

Great way to see a lot in a day!
If you’re looking to see the wonders of La Fortuna and are limited in terms of days here, I would definitely recommend this tour. The tour consisted of a packed (and exhausting) day, starting at the 1968 Trail up part of the Arenal Volcano, learning some history of the volcano and seeing lots of flora and fauna along the way to stunning views from the top of the trail. After the hike, we changed into bathing suits and drove to La Fortuna Waterfall where we hiked down the 500 steps to the gorgeous waterfall, where we enjoyed a refreshing swim at the waterfall’s base for nearly an hour before making the much more tiring trip back UP the 500 steps. We were tired and our calves were sore by the time we reached the top, but the view and the dip were totally worth it. For us (2 parents and our two 20-something kids), this was the highlight of the day. From there, we changed back into hiking clothes, and headed to a soda and a traditional Costan Rican lunch. The day ended with a tour of Místico Hanging Bridges park. The park was beautiful; it was incredible to see the rain forest from above (and maybe also a little nerve-wracking for those afraid of heights); and we saw even more wildlife. Our guide, Will (Wilbur), was very helpful and funny, and clearly especially loved the snakes encountered in the Hanging Bridges park that day. His enthusiasm was palpable. This isn’t an “adrenaline rush” kind of experience, rather more informative and a chance to see an array of Costa Rica’s beauty in one day. If you’re not in La Fortuna long but want to see as much as possible, this is a great way to go.

          Good all-around tour
The pick up service and shuttle are very nice if they stop where you are staying. The listing for the tour was very informative so be sure to read and take it all in. Our guide Diego was very nice, professional, and the informative. The hanging Bridges is a nice visit. Diego likes to take a lot of pictures. We learned about the trees, and some wildlife. We did not see a sloth and I felt like we didn't look very hard for one. We then had to drive 1 person back to town because they weren't doing the full tour which seemed inconvenient. Next was the waterfall. Be prepared, it is an intense journey of 500 stairs down but it is worth it!!! I wish we had more time to spend there. We then went to a restaurant in town to eat the traditional Costa Rican food which was okay. Last we went for a hike to the volcano area. It was a fast paced hike to an area where you walk amongst the old lava-flow area with a view of the peak if weather allows you to see. It was informative but probably the least favorite part of the tour. This tour was a good introduction to some basic Costa Rican things and I enjoyed learning about it from Diego. Guys, please tip your guide!

          Great day exploring LaFortuna
My husband and I enjoyed this tour very much. Our guide Samatha was great and she specializes in the nature type tour. There were only two other couples on our tour so it was a perfect size. We started with the hanging bridges park where we spent the most time. Samatha pointed out interesting plants and some small creatures that we wouldn’t have noticed if on our own, We enjoyed this park very much. Next was the hike up near the volcano. This wasn’t a long hike, but pretty steep. We got to see close up to the volcano and the area. Last was the waterfall which is gorgeous. It’s quite a ways down the steps to the bottom but enough breaks to help on the way back up. I just took my time. We got to swim by the falls and Samatha watched our belongings while we did and provided towels. We also had a break for lunch after the volcano at the company’s private kitchen which served us some very good local dishes and the staff was great. Would highly recommend this company.

          Giancarlos is a treasure
First and foremost I would say the greatest part of our tour was our guide Giancarlos. He was a funny, warm and smart person who made sure everyone was safe and having a great time. He spotted animals that would have been impossible for us to find ourselves. The transportation was great, we were picked up timely in a new air conditioned van and taken safely to each location. Every stop on this tour was great! It is certainly a full day trip, including lunch and some downtime in the van going from place to place. There is cold water provided in the van as well. I would say this tour was a great value for the price and one of the highlights of our trip.

A great hike met with a beautiful and refreshing waterfall swim!
We had a fabulous visit to this magnificent natural wonder. The hike down and up was challenging but not impossible and anyone in good health can do it. No need to rush. The steps are in great condition and there are ample opportunities to stop and rest. The rocks at the falls are slippery and caution is necessary. But so very worth a visit!
