      Highly recommended!
So good! We had an amazing and knowledgeable guide who took us around the park. He pointed out many birds, a sloth, caimans, a porcupine, a tiny frog, and more. At the end, we ate fresh pineapple and saw another sloth who was pretty active nearby. This park is in a more rural area along the natural paths animals follow, away from the city. It’s definitely worth the trip out there!

I went on Wednesday 12 June morning, I had a private tour because of my mobility. Jose was my guide he was very nice and funny, he had an assistant that carry a chair around for me when I was tired.
Jose would find the sloth and I would look in his telescope and he would take picture with my phone. I also saw a red frog and baby crocodile and hummingbirds and lots of plants and flowers and birds.
Josee made me feel special , he put flower in my hair.

I highly recommend! My husband and I had a blast with our tour guide Leo! We did their sloth tour and not only did we see plenty of my favorite animal, but we saw lots of other wildlife too.

We lucked into watching a three toed sloth and her baby being very active in the day, then we saw 3 other sleepy sloths. Leo taught us so much about them and their behaviors. We also saw a cayman and her babies, blue Jean frogs, birds, and lots of unique plants as well. José the owner has created a wonderful place to appreciate and nurture nature .

Jose and his team led an amazing tour. They knew where to see the sloths and let us look at them through a scope. The forest is beautiful. So many birds, flowers, a caiman and even a poisonous dart frog. Highlight of our trip.

Jose was just amazing at finding the “hidden” sloths! We saw at least seven and he was so patient at helping us photograph them through his scope! It was extremely informative with lots of opportunities for wildlife and flora photos.
We also took the night hike and recommend that also!

This tour was excellent. The owner/guide Jose is incredibly knowledgeable about all aspects of the rain forest, not just sloths. He is committed to protecting the environment and his knowledge of the local flora and fauna is vast. In addition to seeing and photographing sloths, including a baby, we saw caymans and several species of birds. I would highly recommend this tour to anyone seeking the full, immersive experience.

Great experience! Our guide Leo was so good at explaining everything we saw. We came across a baby caiman along with four three-toes sloths and one two-toed sloth.

Small group of 6 people. Our guide lives in the park and knows each sloth in detail. I’ve been on several sloth tours in Costa Rica and this is by far the best. We were within 6 ft of smiths, no need for binoculars to see them!

Fantastic tour with a knowledgeable guide! Juan is passionate about sloths and loves to share what he knows about them and their habits. We watched a young sloth traverse the tree canopy, mesmerized by his careful, graceful movements. We were able to see 4 or 5 sloths, as well as a variety of birds and other animals. Absolutely worth the price of admission!

Jose owns and runs the tour himself and keeps it to small groups only. We saw several sloths, one within 10 feet of us. I’ve never taken a better 2 hour tour in my life.
    Highly recommend!

This was a great place to stop and visit in the Fortuna area. The family that owns this park has taken great strides to keep it natural and to provide an authentic experience. We were able to see Sloths from the beginning all the way through to the end along with birds and camen. We had a great time!
