About the operator
Don’t take it from us – here’s what people have to say about this operator:
- X1886XMmiker0 contributionsGuanacaste Dreams is THE best.Miller was the best guide you could ever want. He showed up on time and took excellent care of us. Each stop on the tour was beyond expectations. His English is excellent, his wealth of information and his keen eye all made the trip unforgettable. We saw everything we were hoping to and more. Below are our actual photos. Miller will be sending the ones he took with his professional camera. I am sure several will be on our walls at home.Written 23 January 2025
- sophielI2904XH0 contributionsAmazing, fun, thrilling and perfect for all agesWhat an amazing FUN experience. My husband, 7 year old daughter and 64 year old father had a blast. Miller was our tour guide and we went early January. He picked us up from our AirBnB and drove us to the buggy location. We were fortunate and had no one else booked for that day so it was our buggy and Miller + driver buggy. Miller asked us if we wanted to do more jungle + beach or just jungle and a look out. We opted for look out, and WOW what a lookout it was. The driving conditions were awesome - creeks and rivers, uneven roads, uphill, downhill, you name it, we drove it. We stopped here and there to see some monkeys, birds, grab a little snack at a small store, and even a spot where you can jump into a waterfall. The stops were also appreciated as we could switch up drivers. The buggys are very impressive in terms of capabilities and I would highly recommend this excursion.Written 17 January 2025
- christyhoynowski30 contributionsA wonderful experience!Miller and his associate were so knowledgeable and polite! They could spot wildlife so easy and made sure we stopped to see! It was so fun!Written 15 January 2025
- bethhY6697FI0 contributionsBook now if you want to experience all that Costa Rica has to offer. Our family of 7 ages 18-60 had an amazing day with Miller and Johnny and Oved as our guides. We were picked up at our casa in Palm Beach Estates and rode comfortably to Spring Paradise in the rain forest. It was a long ride made interesting by Miller’s kindness, humor and knowledge of all things CR. Johnny was an expert driver and a funny guy. We stopped along the way to see birds and monkeys. Our entire group enjoyed walking through the rainforest. The highlight was finding a baby sloth who had ventured away from its mother. After that we had the most delicious traditional lunch in a non touristy restaurant. I’ll be thinking of that food for a long time. Sadly the river was too high to enjoy, so we set off for Las Hornillas Springs. After learning all about the volcanic activity, we had a hilarious mud bath, shower and then relaxing soak in the hot springs. Everyone was smiling and relaxed. It was a long day for everyone but we all agree it was the highlight of our trip. Thank you for hosting us Miller, Johnny and Oved.Written 1 January 2025
- T4643DYcynthiah0 contributionsMy first day trip from Guanacast, it was amazing! The views were amazing, the guide was so very knowledgeable about the micro climates. He literally had to make us grab our rain ponchos from the house because it was hard to believe the weather would change so much in such a short about of time. He stopped for snacks on the way and was just an amazing guide all the way from pick up to drop off! We saw sloths, toucans, hummingbirds, frogs bats and up close to the volcanos, then had an amazing local lunch.Written 5 December 2024
- Brakband0 contributionsIncredible Light BlueThe Tenorio National Park is where the main features of Rio Celeste are viewable. It is easy to get to it and the entry fee is reasonable, and inexpensive if you are a national. It is mostly an easy hike along well established trails, except the stairs at the waterfall. The heat and humidity make the decent and climb back up seem much more taxing than you might think. There is an incredible view of the light blue waterfall. We also enjoyed several views of the river, a bubbling pool, and the incredible surrounding jungle and wildlife. It is absolutely incredible to see such a vibrant blue color contrasting the green jungle. It is well worth the visit.Written 2 September 2024
- 982elsal0 contributionsAmazing experienceThis tour was awesome! Milo the tour guide was very friendly and knowledgeable. He gave us extra time and allowed us to make stops to take pictures anytime we wanted to. The river crossings we need were really cool. Thumbs up all the way. I would totally recommend.Written 25 August 2024
- Inspire518940734290 contributionsGreat day with a variety of fantastic activities. Don't miss this opportunity if you are in the area.Great 10 hour day. Our tour guide Gabriel was the best. He was so helpful and knowledgeable about the areas we traveled to. He was extremely flexible if we wanted to stop and hit a couple souvenir shops. We went to the Catarata Llanos del Cortes waterfall. Spectacular. There a a couple guys there that will do some fancy and incredible photos and videos using your phone. They don't ask for a tip, but you would be a creep if you didn't pay them. The videos they make are creative and fun. We swam in the waterfall, then headed to the Volcanoes. The scenery is fantastic. On our way, Gabriel stopped at a stand where they were selling fruit and breads. He purchased some pineapple for us. No kidding, there is no pineapple I have ever tasted that was as sweet and juicy as this one. I purchased a flat bread made with a honey coating. It was called elephant ear bread because it resembles that. What a treat. So delicious. We ate it in the van, then on our way back, had to stop and purchase more, it was so dang good. We went and swam in the blue river. The most beautiful river I have ever seen. A slight smell of sulfur, but that is to be expected since it is from the volcanoes. Next we ate a delicious meal at a family restaurant. We had a choice of meats. The food was so good, and the pineapple juice was the best. We then headed to the nature walk. Our guide there was able to spot and point out glass, red eyed, and poison dart frogs as well as a eyelash pit viper. We also saw enormous squirrels, and a big sloth and small sloth. Our guide also had a great scope to point out Toucans and gray hawks. We saw the smallest bees and leaf cutter ants. Our guide also took some great pics for us with our cameras. I would highly recommend this tour. It does not disappoint. There is not a lot of strenuous hiking with this tour. It was quite relaxing and informative.Written 15 June 2024
- ttravelgirl0070 contributionsGreat customized experience! They go above & beyond for you.Miller was an exceptional guide for our third trip to beautiful CR. A customized experience, we told him our interests and he assisted us in making the trip happen. Punctual, great communication through WhatsApp, and very informative about the local wildlife and all things Costa Rica! Our stops for food were delicious and hand picked for us. He tended to our needs with the kids and made us feel safe and taken care of at all times. I can’t say enough good things. If you want to maximize your time, I highly recommend booking with Miller and his team. Thanks for a great two days of touring Miller.Written 10 March 2024

Oved helped me with my camera as he is an avid photographer. (Im still waiting for him to send me his pics of the day though! LOL) We saw monkeys, sloths, birds, frogs , snakes, waterfall, blue river, and we had the most fantastic local lunch! It was a great day and we highly recommend this trip!Written 28 January 2024
- virgv6200 contributionsFantastic excursion and GuideThe excursion was fantastic. We experienced the Rainforest, the views and sounds were amazing. Our tour guide Eddy, was absolutely amazing- he made the outing a home run. He was knowledgeable about all the flora and fauna of Costa Rica and shared the history of his country. We visited the waterfall and were the first ones there and experienced this with just our family- swimming and taking great pictures. The sloth encounter was really special as well. Everywhere we went we seemed to be the first to arrive which made it even more special. Eddy seemed to know everyone- we stopped so he could educate us on the Guanacaste Tree and then again to try some some local Rosquillas and watermelon. Everyone honked and waved at Eddy. The restaurant he took us to for lunch allowed us to try the local cuisine and it was great- it also had a butterfly sanctuary. Eddy gave us VIP treatment and I highly recommend him and this excursion.Written 15 January 2024

- codyl20130 contributionsBest zip lining I've ever done! This was our first of 2 excursions while staying in Costa Rica and it was incredible. The ride into Buena Vista was awesome with incredible views of the volcanos and mountains. Our tour guide, 'Cibi,' was an awesome tour guide. He provided a ton of great insights into the history and culture of Costa Rica, its land and resources, people and customs. He walked us through every step of the excursion and was an absolute pleasure to speak with and have great conversation with. He is truly passionate about what he does and his country which really made the excursion even more enjoyable. The horseback riding through the rainforest was a cool experience. Riding horseback through a rainforest would have been something I never thought of doing before this trip. Great way to start our excursion. Next was the culture tour which gave a really personal experience into the culture of Costa Rica - making pottery, coffee, sugar cane farming, and more. It was really insightful to get a glimpse into the lives of the 'Tico's' and 'Ticas' of Costa Rica. BTW, I don't like coffee but Costa Rican coffee is a game changer. After trying it at the culture tour, I bought 2 bags of coffee grounds to take back home. The Zip Line was absolutely awesome. The views were incredible! We got to zip line across 7 different lines which were great. By far the best zip lining I've ever done. The lunch served on this excursion was fantastic. They took us to an exclusive lunch restaurant available only to us as the tourists and the restaurant was outdoors overlooking the mountains which was really jaw dropping. The food was incredible - a full service Costa Rican inspired meal that was better than I could have imagined. The last stop was the natural sauna and hot springs which was so cool. We got to sit in a natural hot sauna, bathe in mountain mud (cooler than it sounds) and then relax in the naturally heated hot spring baths in the middle of the rainforest. Plus they put a bar next to the natural sauna so you can sip on a cold Pina Colada or margarita while relaxing in the warm springs water. Overall, this excursion was a true taste of Costa Rican paradise that was incredible. I highly recommend this excursion to anyone looking to get a true taste of Costa Rica's culture and beauty!Written 11 September 2023
- Blair V0 contributionsGreat Experience! From the price and description, my expectations were pretty high. Overall, it was a great! We didn’t see beaches or get our pictures taken so that was a huge bummer after looking at pics on other reviews. But I’m still thankful for our own unique experience that no one else will get. Our guide Alex knew everything about everything and is an incredible human. We stopped at a convenience store and had the most amazing snack I’ll ever eat in my life: pasteles. The Diamante Eco park is underwhelming but beautiful. We stopped at a local bar, our bodies coated in dirt, and enjoyed every minute of it!Written 1 August 2023
