This was my first time snorkeling and it was amazing! Bill was super nice, and the whole experience was great. We will definitely be coming back to do it again!

Had the best time at a beautiful beach with so many animals and fish. There were monkeys, sloth, and the tide pools were so fun to search in. Our guide Bill was very friendly and accommodating. Definitely worth adding to the trip to snorkel here!

Bill was so friendly and laid back. We enjoyed going to two cool local beaches. The water and sand were gorgeous. The water was the perfect temperature for snorkeling. We saw beautiful fish. We enjoyed the cold coconut water right out of fresh coconuts. The monkeys and birds were a special treat also.

Playa Blanca is an amazing beach. Bill was a great guide and very patient with my daughter who had never snorkeled. The underwater statues are a plus.

the snorkeling experience was 12/10. the fish you could see so clearly and so up close was insane. Highly recommend! the beach itself is gorgeous and one of a kind with fresh coconuts falling from trees that you can crack open and drink alongside the beach. Then the instructor himself was also a great guy, super chill and very informative.

The experience was wonderful! Bill was quick to respond once we had signed up, he had all the equipment we needed and the beach was breathtaking. We arranged a ride with Luis from Playa Hermosa to Playa Mantas, it was only $50 and Luis was amazing company. Once on the beach, we were provided equipment, snacks and could snorkel as much as we wanted. I was struggling to get acclimated to the full face snorkel mask, but Bill and Luis didn't give up on me. They were patient and helped me remain calm until I was fully comfortable and able to snorkel with ease. The beach is beautiful and the animals were abundant. The macaws were eating for hours in the almond trees above us and the monkeys found us mid afternoon. There were so many and Bill provided bananas for us to feed them! We even saw a sloth with her baby on our way out. My friend and I had an amazing day and we would recommend this tour for anyone!

After spending a week in Costa Rica we saved the best for last! Our jacosnorkel private tour with Bill was amazing! We had more close up encounters scarlet macaws and white faced monkeys than in Manuel Antonio Park. This was the icing on the cake following our snorkeling adventure, an easy venture from the beach right into the coral reefs. Here are few things to know: Be prepared for a bumpy dirt road rough drive for the last few miles - I would not hav missed that experience either. Parking is in a dirt lot just before Playa Mantas Beach. We took the 8am tour and I’d recommend that because as we were leaving around 11:30am the lot was packed and busy. It dealt very safe and the lot attendants were very helpful and even spotted a mother and baby sloth for us! The beach walk from Playa Mantas to Playa Blanca where you will snorkel is mostly flat, but there is a section where you will have to climb somewhat over rocky and rough terrain. It is worth it though just be prepared. There are lockers for any valuables you bring but felt very safe and not sure we really needed to use the lockers, but we did. Bill provided us with a cool beverage and snacks after our snorkel adventure and bananas to hand feed the monkeys. Bill is a very cool dude who is very knowledgeable about the flora, fauna and aquatic life in the area. He shared many interesting facts about this beach paradise and absolutely made our trip! Bill took us on our snorkel tour, where he showed us the stunning beaches and then during our snorkel he would identify and point out the different fish and coral which we would likely miss and educate us on the sea life in CR - greta trip, would highly recommend!

The most beautiful beach in central CR! Perfect first snorkeling experience for my 9 year old son. Good guides and amazing fish: puffers, parrot fish, eels, and about a dozen or more species! All easy to access and crystal clear water.
