What a beautiful and thrilling river!! Mau and Jason were great guides and took some nice pictures for us too. We learned some new skills and had a blast!

The van with our guide, Mao, picked us up on time at our airbnb in Manuel Antonio (Loma Linda, also highly recommended. Sonia hooked us up with this river rafting trip). We drove around an hour or so to the mountains and Mao was an amazing guide: he pointed out numerous interesting plants and animals along the way, and was diligent in reviewing safety protocols for the raft and coordinating our rowing efforts. We had perfect weather too. There was a delicious snack of pineapple, plantain chips and cookies at a triple waterfall, and lunch was also included at the end. The only downside was the additional employee in a kayak who went ahead of us and positioned himself at two of the larger rapids to take pictures, none of which came out. From pickup to drop off was around 6 hours. Highly recommended!

We had a blast rafting with Anthony. He’s personable, funny and kind - and he eased my nervousness before departure. He gave us lessons and a chance to practice before getting into the rapids. The rafting itself was a perfect mix of exhilarating and calm water in a beautiful setting. The stop at the waterfall with fruit and cookies was the icing on the cake. We couldn’t recommend this tour more highly. If you are an experienced rafter, you may want rougher water, but for us it was absolutely perfect! And lunch afterwards was delicious. Totally a fun day. You will get wet!!! 😂 Go with Anthony - he’s the best!!

Exiting enough but not that crazy for first timers like me. The pace is fast so need to be ready to follow the guide's commands

This was the most incredible experience. The crew was amazing and super friendly and our kids and us LOVED it! It was fun, exciting and the most beautiful river with gorgeous views. It is not too rough but exciting enough so the kids feel like they did something cool. We stopped in the middle to swim in a refreshing waterfall and have snacks and drinks. Excellent experience will definitely do that again!

Maurillo and Louis were excellent tour guides, we felt very safe and well looked after. The experience was great fun, however, as we had never been before we chose the lower grade but it was a little too tame for us, but still good fun. If we had chosen grade 3/4 this would have been 5 stars for sure. For anyone looking for more adrenaline, choose grade 3/4. I would 100% use this company again.

We are so happy we booked this water rafting tour with Mau and Jason! It was just us and it was so much fun! Mau stayed with us on the boat while Jason hoped in the kayak and ensured we are safe while rafting. We felt good all the way and even when I fell off the boat 😂 We were in good hands with Jason and Mau as they are super experienced and know their stuff! Cannot recommend this tour enough, a must do while visiting Quepos / Manuel Antonio area!

We had an amazing time - challenging (but not too difficult) at times, but still had some spots to relax and take in the scenery. The guides were great - friendly and informative, and even stopped on the drive back as they spotted some monkeys, a sloth and macaws.

What an experience, it was awesome. Our guide Mau was excellent and knowledgeable of the river, and our safety Noni showed extreme skills when I fell off the raft, he rescued me and helped me to safety and back on the raft. They picked us up punctually and provided an unforgettable experience. We'll be back for sure.

Amazing day!! The landscape was beautiful. The waterfall stop to swim was magical there were some horses that were there and we got to pet them. We at a snack by the waterfall. Our guides Jonathan and Joshua were knowledgeable, funny and kind. They taught us about the local culture and plants and kept us comfortable and safe. The rapids were fun and there were some calmer sections of the river we got to jump in and swim in. Highly recommend.

My friend and I had the most thrilling white water experience on the river with Noni as our guide! He made us feel safe as we rode the rapids - was very attentive to safety, which we appreciated! You get plenty of water in your face, but it was what we expected, and it was exhilarating! Nice snack break, too! Buy the pics for $20 from Joshua - who was our safety kayaker and photographer riding along for safety assist if needed! Loved it. Just do it! We are in our 60s.. and handled it fine

I highly advise and want to say that Wave rafting was great. I've been to Costa Rica 7 times, and on previous rafting trip was in south Costa Rica. Wave picked me up at my Fortuna hotel, went for a 2 hour rafting adventure, went by a restaurant, for a Tico meal, and back at hotel a bit before 3:00 p.m. I could not recommend anything more!

A great tour for our family two boys 12 and 15 and my husband and me. It is fun, exciting and very beautiful. The guys were super friendly and fun. This is a must do👌

The rafting was a blast! We felt very safe. The view was amazing!!! The history of the rock formations was very interesting. Jason and Louis were the best!!
