Our hopes for a great day were completely fulfilled. We had a small, diverse group. And everyone got on with the guide Alex straight away. In addition to the planned points of the tour, Alex was also able to inspire us with a lot of knowledge about flora and fauna. He did a great job guiding us through the day and the small restaurant for lunch as well as the stop at the fruit market were also great and the food great (also vegetarian) Thank you for this great day dear Alex... You do a wonderful job...

Perfect weather, but it was sunny and cloudy in the hills. Just a very long journey in the van. At least a 14 hour day with the majority of trip seating in traffic.. but I signed up for it!

It was a great experience. Our guide - Alex was excellent communicator and tour guide. I recommend for anyone looking for best experience!

The tour to Manuel Antonio park was very good. Along the way we stopped in several places to watch animals and nature. During our visit to the park, our guide Alex made sure that we saw animals hidden between the trees. At the end, we had a moment of rest on the beach and lunch with a beautiful view of the ocean. I recommend the trip and Alex as a guide

Steven x Víctor were an amazing duo. Both truly cared about the group and wanted to maximize the most out of our time together- this meant impromptu stops for sloths and exotic birds along the road. Steven has such a wealth of knowledge and we learned a great deal about Costa Rica from all aspects. He’s truly what made this tour special- the excursion itself wasn’t what I was expecting with ‘volcano’ in the title but it was still enjoyable nevertheless. Ride itself was pretty rocky with twists and turns- if you get motion sickness definitely take some meds beforehand and opt to sit in the front. Theres not too much walking, but surfaces can be slippery at the waterfall (it’s a brief stop). Definitely bring a change of clothing and bag; the hot springs will provide towel and locker. Coffee farm- beautiful, serene but short morning experience Waterfall - a couple of view points to snap pics Restaurant with birds view w. Fresh Juice and snack Restaurant with lizard view a decent rest stop Lunch Zip line or Tribal Visit (depending on package you choose) Hot Springs (2-4 hours depending- a few pools for you to soak and just relax; swim up bars; part of a hotel; don’t lose key/towel) Dinner Overall just a nice relaxing day with great company. Originally when booking we had impressions of an actual volcano tour and natural hot springs, this isn’t thaaat -but with all the animals we saw and things we learned- this was def still a pleasant trip.

Fernando was an awesome guide! Had an amazing time and enjoyed seeing La Fortuna waterfall, hiking by the Arenal Volcano, and relaxing at the hot springs. I highly recommend this tour!

Amazing experience. Saw so much in one day. Harlem and victor were great. Harlem was so knowledgeable and ensured we enjoyed our day.

Fernando was energetic, warm and personable. Whilst driving he engaged the group with the ecology and history of Costa Rica. There seemed to be no question he didn't know the answer to. It felt like a local showing you the beauty of his country and sharing his love for it with you. The views were stunning and there was plenty of wildlife along the way. It was a very well-paced and engaging tour. Very little walking. Food was alright, a little light if anything so bring snacks!

We were a little bit unsure at first when our transport vehicle was late, but our tour guide, Fernando, made everything worth it! He was very knowledgeable, friendly, and kind. The hot springs was definitely the best part of the day and we wished we could have stayed there longer. Overall, a lot of time was spent in the car, but there were enough activities and pit stops in between that broke up the day nicely. We hiked down to the waterfall but could not swim because the waters were too rough. We couldn’t see the top of the volcano because it was covered in clouds, but the views were still breathtaking and I am grateful that we still decided to go. Fernando also offered us choices and suggestions along the way to tailor our trip to our needs/desires. We were also able to stop at a roadside convenience store with many local Costa Rican treats/pastries on our way to La Fortuna and we also were able to stop at a giant souvenir shop on our way back to our hotel which were added bonuses on this trip. I would definitely recommend this trip, although you need to mentally prepare yourself for a long day and to be flexible when/if nature decides to change your plans!

Fernando was great driver and tour guide throughout the day long adventure. Learned so much about CR and the history. Enjoyed the adventures also!

Arenal volcano was beautiful! Nice hike about .25 mile walk up stairs then back down .25 for total of 1/2 mile walk. Doable for hiking levels and all ages. Hike for waterfall was 600 steps with lots of stopping points for rest. Absolutely beautiful!

This was an amazing tour, we got to see so mon our way to Arenal. Our tour guide Harlem is so experienced, he knows all the nice spots to stop, showed us Sloth, hummingbirds and lizards. The hot spring is definitely the highlight of complete tour, it’s so relaxing after a long day. Definitely recommend this tour!
