Informative walk with very nice views
Fred was already waiting for me at the city hall when I arrived there 5 minutes before the agreed time. He is a very nice and competent guide, who engages us in interesting discussions on P.E. and South African history and makes sure the path (of the walk and of the talk) are appropriate and comfortable at all times. Very professional, friendly and respectful, I'd definitely go for Fred's tour again if I had the chance to go back to Port Elizabeth.

Dear Bing1947, Thank you for taking the time to review your experience with us. The inner city of Port Elizabeth is often overlooked and it provides a great place in combination with "Route 67" to tell the story of Nelson Mandelas life and South African history. We are glad you got to experience this with us. Best wishes, The Afroventures Team

Afroventures - Port Elizabeth City Tour
Dec 2019 • Solo
Excellent, very knowledgeable and funny guide John showed me the best the Windy city has to offer. He is like encyclopedia on 2 legs.
I booked a tour with Afroventures and would definitely use them again, as they are very reliable, easy to communicate with and even though there were no other guests for that afternoon tour, they didn't cancel it or charge me any extra for a private tour. Good value for money. I give them 5*.

So insightful and interesting!
I did a Port Elizabeth history tour from Island vibes master house. We did route 67 which is a tour which tells you about PE as well as quotes from Nelson Mandela himself. The tour was so interesting and I really enjoyed it. I found out so much about Port Elizabeth and now I feel confident in saying I know more about PE then I ever did before. I would definitely recommend this tour to anyone.

Educational tour
Our tour with Kagiso was very educational, since it was my first time in PE I learned a lot in just those few hours. Highlight of my tour was Route 67 I found it so interesting and was in love with the creativity around it. Our guide also did an exceptional job, you could see that he was passionate about what he was doing and he always kept us informed and more curious. I'd definitely recommend the tour and would defs do it again. #PE#Afroventures#KhwelaSisters

Excellent introduction to Port Elizabeth
Jan 2019 • Couples
We were met at the cruise terminal and driven to our starting point by John, who took us to all the historical areas of the city on foot and by car and answered all our questions. Great value and very informative and John was an excellent guide. A good way to learn about the history of the port and the country. Organisation of the trip was spot on and we learned a lot, thanks to John’s patience.
