First the communication from the company about our pick up was terrible. I had to reach out to them several times before I could confirm pickup. This was suppose to be a Deluxe full day Safari. It was a 2 hr ride to the park. Once we got there the staff stated the safari ride was 3 hours. I showed them my ticket from 6am-2pm. Staff called vendor. I talked with vendor who stated we could go for 3 hours in safari vehicle & driver could take us around in a car. This was not what we signed up for or agreed to. So we went back to the hotel. The advisement was what we got. My safari event was ruined due to website stating this was a deluxe safari which it was not.

It is s very informative tour. The guide was very friendly. We didn’t get to see the museum because of some issue with the museum. We changed our plans instead. He was very respectful of our needs We strongly recommend it.

A really recommended tour and a great guide. Absolutely professional and welcoming, he also showed the small details on the way to and in Soweto. You get to see touching and emotional places - and afterwards I understood even better the achievements of the South Africans in their victory over the Apartheid regime.

We truly enjoyed the tour today. It was very organized and professionally planned. Our cumpliments to Simon and Cosmos, who proved to be extremely knowledgeable, patient, and polite. We learned very much about South Africa’s history and culture, and had a lot of fun throughout our tour. A day to be fondly remembered.

Fantastic weekend, arranged at the last minute. Our guide, Cosmos, was so knowledgeable and looked after us really well. His passion for his job was fantastic; I learned loads about South Africa’s history and culture, and my five year old especially loved getting close to the animals in the Rhino and Lion reserve. We never felt rushed, and also got to sample some great local food in a buffet style restaurant in Soweto. Would highly recommend.

Highly recommend using Vaya Africa. Matome the Operations Manager was extremely efficient and helpful. Had a wonderful day with our guide Victor, he was so knowledge, personable and caring.

Seeing the rhinos. We saw a lot of zebras and buffalo. Victor, our guide was very professional. Knowledgeable about a lot of the animals.

I really enjoyed the Pretoria tour. I was the only one taking it. My tour guide picked me up and dropped me off from my place. Very punctual, very friendly and very knowledgeable. He showed me beautiful places, talked about history, culture, current situation in South Africa. I learned more on that half day trip than during my 3 weeks I've already been here in SA. I would definitely recommend 😊

Excellent city tour of Johannesburg by Lebo on very short notice. We only had 2 hours but he gave a very thorough tour covering history, culture, and important sites. We wish we had more time.

We booked this tour wanting to understand some of the history of what we were going to see (Voortrekker Monument, Paul Kruger's house, Union Buildings, etc). Our guide Stephen was very pleasant, was very informative & supplemented what he was telling us with other little tidbits of information & anecdotes which made what we were looking at come to life. He was also happy to answer any questions and kept us on our toes, asking us did we know the answer to what he was going to tell us (ie 169 steps to the top of the Voortrekker monument) which was engaging. After he told us what he needed to, he allowed us to explore for a bit & also took several pictures for us. We were lucky in that it was just 2 of us on the tour but so glad we had Stephen guiding us around & would recommend this tour (and Stephen) to any friends ever visiting.

Stephen and Martin were great guides. As we toured Johannesburg and Soweto they answered many of our questions. It was good to get a view from a local perspective. I felt safe as they made sure we arrived to and from our tours on time. I would highly recommend them.
