Liam was amazing! He took us to a remote part of South Africa and was extremely knowledgeable and an excellent driver. It was wonderful to hear all about South African culture and history on the drive, and his knowledge of wildlife was incredible. Ten stars and would definitely use this company again! In fact am planning to do that next year!!

We had a long transfer with Spurwing which included very bad and difficult roads. But We felt very safe and were very happy with the way the whole transfer was handled! Also all contact with the office was just simply very pleasant and professional. Thanks!

We got to see 3 of the big fives and the giraffes and zebras were amazing. Our driver was kind and courteous. Really enjoy the trip. At the stop to have lunch at the casino we had Mexican food and the food was great and great service as well. Recommend the experience.

Our family booked an overnight stay at Mongena game lodge through Spurwing tourism services in April 2024. On arrival and check in we were met with friendly staff that guided our stay on a beautiful game lodge setting, an experience we wanted for our children being South African born and raised. A short walk to our accommodation,rooms are well presented and clean. You will notice that there is a tranquility when you see the animal life roaming at touching distance around the bungalows. Lunch is served at a well run kitchen , a balcony over looking a small dam with bird life and water turtles to keep the children’s minds intrigued as what could be out there when we go on the planned evening game drive. Bellies full we prepare for a welcome at the game drive meeting point and introductions to our skilled game rangers. A 2 hour adventure takes you into the bush were rangers track and guide you into a world of free range animal life, buck, warthog, elephant, cheetah, zebra and the day in the life of a dung beetle among the few that we could save memories of for our children. There is a midway stop to stretch your legs and have a sundowner and snacks as the sun sets over the horizon gives you that I’m in africa feeling. We booked the early sunrise game drive which was just as eventful. Our stay over was comfortable and relaxing, meals and drinks at the restaurant are well catered for all pallets. It was an amazing adventure! We were picked up and dropped back off right at our hotel. We were able to see many, many animals! Everyone was great......from check in right through our breakfast after the flight. I highly recommend this tour!!!

Mr Kosie Vos at Spurwing Tourism Services organised our Zanzibar family holiday in very short notice. During these challenging Covid times they made things much easier for us admin wise by booking all needed Covid tests and relevant arrangements. He walked me through every aspect of the holiday and even advised where to stay on the island to experience the best weather possible during my planned days. Our holiday to Zanzibar was arranged on very short notice and Kosie Vos from Spurwing Tourism left no stone untouched to asist with all arrangements. Communicated regularly and made sure of even the finer detail like making our 32 ‘nd wedding anniversary very special.

Our driver and guide was Andile for the day, he was very knowledgeable. The Apartheid museum is a must if visiting the city, we had a great day.

AB was an excellent guide — Soweto born and bred and knowledgeable about both the Townships and South Africa’s political history. The trip covered a lot and the Pieterson Museum (which I was not planning to visit) was a wow. Definitely recommended.

We only had one day in Joburg and we were scheduled on the one day Soweto & Apartheid Museum Tour. Spurwings is a very professional touring company, Their drivers and guides are great, so courteous, they give all of the information we needed to fully understand what we were seeing. This is an eye-opening tour. What the African freedom fighters went through to accomplish freedom for their people is emotional to see. We must never forget what it took for them to get there.

Had a wonderful half day tour with Khutso from Spurwing Tourism. Khutso was friendly and very knowledgeable and provided us with lots of history of Pretoria. We visited Voortrekker Monument, Kruger house, Union Buildings and a drive through the downtown area before returning us to our hotel. I would highly recommend them.
