Absolutely amazing!!! It was beyond my expectations. Our guide Cole was knowledgable, friendly and gave us all the time we needed to take our many photos and videos. I would highly recommend this company.

Cole was our guide for two days. He was informative, pleasant and went out of his way to make sure we saw as many animals as possible. He even shared some of his photos with the group. Fabulous experience!

I have just had the best two days on Safari with Cole as part of my tour of South Africa. It was my first time on Safari and it exceeded my expectations. Cole was very friendly and professional and before starting the Safari explained what would be happening during the course of the day. He asked us to keep our eyes peeled to look for animals and to let him know if we spotted anything, so he could stop the vehicle for us to observe closely. This made us feel included and was great fun - it also brought our group together as friends and we made up a WhatsApp group (including Cole) to share our photos of the amazing animals and birds we saw. Cole had a very good camera and has uploaded some excellent close-up shots. Cole had excellent knowledge of several animals and birds and it was fascinating to hear all about them. We had breakfast and lunch in very nice modern eateries along the way. Overall, the two days will be a very memorable lifetime experience and I hope to return one day with my grandchildren, when they are old enough to appreciate it and hope Cole will be my guide again! We had an awe-inspiring 2 day tour of Kruger park with Abrie. Within the first hour of both days we were privileged to see the big 5 animals of the park, and many more, including the elusive and rare white rhino. Thanks to Abrie’s immense knowledge of the park he grew up in and the safari team for making us to make sure we had the best experience. We can’t thank Abrie enough for this unforgettable experience. This safari was an experience of a lifetime ! It would have been in any circumstance. However, by the luck of the draw, we got Abrie Coetzer as our driver and guide. His knowledge of the animals, their habitat, their biology, history, respect for the environment and it’s preservation was second to none. His experience being born and raised in the park and therefore his stories were accurate and entertaining. Not a dull moment for the entire 2 days. I felt he did his utmost for us to see as many animals as possible. Our experience was his priority… well, second to the wellbeing of the animals, as it should be. Always pleasant to meet someone who loves and has passion for his work. If you are planning a safari, be sure to ask for Abrie… he will surely add positiveness to your safari

For most people a South African safari is the experience of a lifetime and our two day safari with Abrie was even more memorable. He communicated his impressive knowledge and passion for African wildlife and culture in the most entertaining way I have seen, ever. He's a talented storyteller holding an unwavering respect for the animals we had the privilege to see in their natural habitat. Our whole group of 9 unrelated people thoroughly enjoyed ourselves. We could also witness the beautiful complicity binding all the guides from Africa Spears. Looking forward to the next time!

My sister and I just ended (sadly) our two day safari in Kruger park with the Africa Spear company. Our experience was entertaining, educational, and will be a lifelong fond memory. Our guide, Saint, was friendly and engaging. He was very knowledgeable about both the animals and terrain. He really wanted us to see all the animals that we possibly could (we did) and he genuinely showed a respect for them as well. I always felt very comfortable and safe in the jeep with him. I would return to South Africa just to go on this safari again! I highly recommend this company. .

Our guide (Ty) was incredible. He was so knowledgeable, knew the answers to all of our questions about the animals in the park. Was great with time letting us take time to stop and see the animals as long as we wanted. Felt safe with him driving, felt like he absolutely knew what he was doing. The safari truck was comfortable and roomy and we had a 360 view for optimal photo opportunities. He would radio with friends if there was something cool to see and would bring us there. Felt like he was very passionate about his job. Definitely would use this company again.

We enjoyed a truly memorable 2 days at Kruger due to our superb guide, Dave. His incredible in-depth knowledge of the Park's flora and fauna made this the highlight of our trip to South Africa. We would not hesitate to recommend Africa Spear Safaris.

We spent two days in the park over different routes. Our guide Brandon was extremely knowledgeable, engaging and Kruger didn't disappoint. We had a sunny and a cloudy cool day, both brought a different experience so don't be put off by the weather. Long days but all seamless and definitely definitely worthwhile. Will defo book direct next time. Just wish I had bought a better camera with me but happy with the photos taken on my phone.

We went on a 3 days 2 night classic safari tour in Kruger National Park and Dave, our guide, went to great lengths to see if we can spot and observe as many animals as possible. He was also a walking encyclopaedia, having immense knowledge not just about the land animals in the safari, but also about birds, plants, and even the constellations! As we interacted with him and got to know him better, we could see that him doing this was his utmost passion and to him this was definitely not a job, but his life. To be honest, I was very inspired by him as a human being, in the way he conducts himself, and also how he lived his life. All of these, were beyond my wildest expectations of what could come up from this tour. This tour was supposed to happen in May 2020 but got postponed indefinitely and we are so glad we came back to close the loop to complete something we did not do due to the pandemic. The logistics were excellent, and Dave really sought his best to cover as many ground as possible. If you are looking for a personalised safari experience to maximise your time spent in Kruger National Park viewing animals in their natural habitat, this is the tour to go for. There is a big difference between having just the two of us on a safari vehicle as compared to having quadruple that number. Africa Spear thrives in providing guests a unique, intimate, customised safari experience. If that is what you are looking for, you will not be disappointed. Without a doubt, this is a company and tour I will recommend over and over to family and friends. Keep up the excellent work!

We went to Kruger for our honeymoon and booked the two day safari and we had the most amazing time! Our guide Joe truly made the experience unforgettable! We was incredibly knowledgeable of the bush and gave us loads of information as well as kept us entertained the entire two days we were with him. We saw tons of animals and couldn’t have asked for a better experience!
