    What to Expect
    DAY 1

Our route takes us via Route 62, traveling inland over the Overberg Region of the Western Cape. We also visit Ronnie’s Sex Shop! Afterwards we continue our way to Oudtshoorn which is South Africa’s Ostrich Capital. This town hosts the well-known Cango Caves which is a National Monument. Tonight we stay in Oudtshoorn. (D)

    DAY 2

After an early morning breakfast we shall visit the local Ostrich farm and you can even try your luck at riding one! We head to Knysna for lunch and to explore the Knysna heads. An optional extra is visiting the Knysna Elephant Park, where you have the opportunity to touch, feed and walk with earth’s largest land mammals! Yet another optional extra is an ocean Safari – spotting dolphins and Whales from a boat in Plettenberg Bay! We will make a quick stop en route at Bloukrans Bungy, which is the highest bungee in the world, at 216m!! Tonight we stay in Storms River Village. (B;D)

    DAY 3

Today we head through to Tsitsikamma National Park for a hike to the ever famous Storms River mouth – walk on the recently finished Hanging Bridge, where we can take a dip in the Indian Ocean!! From here we head to the Garden Route Game Lodge where we can enjoy a Big 5 sunset game drive, fantastic buffet dinner and hot spring under the stars. We’ll also overnight in their award winning chalets. (B;D)

    DAY 4

Early morning Game drive to see some animals you perhaps didn’t see the evening before followed by a scrumptious breakfast! After breakfast, we make our way to Hermanus, which is famous for being the best land based whale watching site (in season) in South Africa and is a beautiful little town with wonderful cliff-side walks. Making our way back towards Cape Town, our last stop is at Stony Point where we visit the local penguin Colony – making our way back with spectacular views over False Bay. (B)

The guide was great. We had the opportunity to visit all the most beautiful places along the garden route. Great accomodation. The best way to know the garden route if you are alone
