About the operator
Don’t take it from us – here’s what people have to say about this operator:
- naidooni0 contributionsInaccurate facts wrt location and D6 removal of residence.Overall the bus ride and destinations were great. However, the tour guide Louis, confused his facts somehow, he mentioned Platteklip gorge on Table Mountain is in Kirstenbosch. When narrating about the removal of the people of D6, try to give all facts or don't leave out important facts. Also, don't use colours like yellow, red & orange when speaking about race, be real. I don't think his sense of humour was appropriate for an extremely diverse group of people.Written 17 September 2024

- Claire K0 contributionsFantastic dayOur trip to the Stellenbosch & Franschhoek vineyard tour was an absolute delight from start to finish. The stunning vineyards, paired with the exceptional wines and food, made for a truly fantastic experience. The tour guide's knowledge and passion for the region's winemaking history added an extra layer of enjoyment to the day. What stood out the most was the guide's willingness to accommodate our additional requests, ensuring that we had a personalised and unforgettable outing. I can't recommend this tour highly enough - a must-do for any wine connoisseur or simply anyone looking for a luxurious and educational wine tasting experience in South Africa's beautiful wine country.Written 10 March 2024
- Otley_Fingers0 contributionsA Great Tour of the Cape Peninsula.A wonderful tour of the Cape peninsula with our excellent and very knowledgeable tour guide Brahms whose grasp of the English language was masterful as was his his sense of humour and wit. The scenery was well worth seeing although it’s a shame that recent fires had taken our large parts of the area just before Cape Point. We even managed to see the big 5 in our journey - Cape Antelope, Baboon, Ostrich, seals and Penguins! Well done Brahams you made the day very enjoyable.Written 21 January 2024

- Gl_Trekr0 contributionsScenic ride to Cape Point.Full bus load but a nice ride despite the mroning traffic jam, The guide was knowledgeable of the history of Cape Town gave a very informative running commentary. He made an effort to engage with the passengers, young and old. Also took the initiative to book the restaurant at Table Mountain Park for everyone on the bus.Written 13 September 2023

- 904didip0 contributionsGood...Cape Point & Penguin Explorer... The bus has AC, wifi at times spotty but ok, 2nd floor of bus should get rid of TV screens & luggage rack above, kept hitting heads on these each time got out of seats...Written 28 July 2023
- santiagocarmen0 contributionsGreat tour, get close to history on Kartoa ferry.Chilling. Inspiring. The tour is operated professionally, we get there by the boatload, but then small bus sized groups. The initial bus tour has a guide, who is informative and tries to lighten the mood. It is understandable that you can only see the graveyard, lime Quarry, etc from inside the bus. At the Max prison, a political prisoner is the guide, bringing everything to life instantaneously. His stories were horrific, it is heartbreaking what man is capable of when it comes to brutality. But ultimately, his message was for us, in our won ways, in our situations to stand for fairness and equality. Amen! (A little bonus, watch out for the birds and the occasional penguin and turtles on the island, and seals on the way back.)Written 25 July 2023

- Wendel44660 contributionsdisappointedI have just returned from a two day stay at Inverdoon Game Reserve 2 and half hours from Cape Town. Inverdoon is advertised as a Big Five Game Reserve. Inverdoon is NOT a game reserve. It is more like a game park with a few animals which are supplementary fed to survive in that arid environment. In my opinion Inverdoon is falsly and inaccurately advertised. Overseas visitors that we met whilst being at the reserve were hugely disappointed as they all felt they were going on Safari to this big five game reserve. It gives overseas visitors a false idea of South African Game Reserves and cannot be good for our tourism. The accommodation is acceptable as is their food. but the idea that this a game reserve is a misrepresentation.Written 9 February 2023
- sally_hornsby0 contributionsGreat vineyardsHad a great day out on the wine tram. Visited some great vineyards and think our favourite was the Rickety Bridge, more because of the name. All the wines tasted were great, and had some lovely food along the way.Written 30 November 2022
- taniasX5544ME0 contributionsDO NOT BOOK THIS TOURI was not given the option to choose a time and was told that tit would be a 3pm pick up. I later found out the reason being that no one likes to work Sundays and they had to wait for a driver from another tour (wineries) to finish that tour before being able to collect me. They also never bothered to find out if the cable cars were operating, so when we arrived, we discovered the cable cars had stopped for the day. It was a complete waste of time. When I requested a refund, they only refunded a 1/3 of the price which I complained about, but have yet to receive a response. DO NOT BOOK THIS TOUR, MUCH CHEAPER AND CAN EASIER TO WORK WITH YOUR OWN SCHEDULE IF YOU UBER IT AND BOOK CABLE CAR TICKET DIRECT, EXTREMELY DISAPPOINTED AND UNHAPPY WITH SERVICE BEFORE AND AFTER.Written 30 October 2022
