About the operator
Don’t take it from us – here’s what people have to say about this operator:
- 457akidam0 contributions11 out of 10We did 5 different tours with Remmy and his company. This tour was great because my friend Roy from university has the best store called the African Trading Port to shop right when you return. Tell Roy that Akida sent you for the VIP treatment. You have to do all the tours with Remmy and his company from Table Mountain to the penguins to the best beaches. Remmy can also arrange private tours for you to go to wineries such as Mhudi. I’ve traveled around the world and Remmy and his company was the best tour guide company that I’ve ever experienced in my life. It is a MUST to use them if you visit Cape Town.Written 5 January 2025
- 906liam0 contributionsCape Town TourWe booked them for 3 days and traveled around Cape Town. We had the best time and learned so much! Remi was so knowledgeable. The vans are nice and clean and air conditioned. Everything was fantastic. I highly recommend using them.Written 5 January 2025
- DayTrip081502909880 contributions(Unforgettable Experience)Remy and Kuda are currently the best in the business, (Cape Town, South Africa). Their knowledge left me speechless. very knowledgeable and guided me well through it. Well...... one’s destination is never a place, but a new way of seeing things. I've seen the beauty of it all over Cape Town (South Africa), with Remy and team. My first ever experience. What an unforgettable experience seeing Chapman's Pick, Constantia Wine tasting and Lion's head sunset view, but on top of it the amazing drive catching the sunset. This trip was exciting and outstanding. I highly recommend!Written 22 December 2024
- bart_omiejw4600 contributionsAccesible trip!At Guga Thebe Cultural Centre you can find a lot of beautiful handmade things. Object is wheelchair friendly.........Written 22 November 2024
- wanderingspirit330 contributionsIncredibly informative, warm, comprehensive & a delight!Remi & Kuda are an incredible team! Remi alone is an absolute wealth of information! He was able to provide us with such crucial information while on the drive, and also at every stop. And we definitely got wayyyy more than we paid for because he included stops at a Zimbabwe sculptural market - absolutely stunning - where I was able to get a stunning green serpentine piece of art for a fraction I would pay in Canada. I want to find a way to continue supporting these artists. If you want bang for your buck + more and an brilliant, compassionate team, then book with Remi and Kuda. I will definitely rebook when I’m back in Cape Town.Written 21 November 2024
- C1182AZjamiet0 contributionsPrivate tour to Long walk of Freedom and Robbens IslandHello. The owner Remmy took such good care of us even before we left the United States. He spent countless hours answering all of my questions to make me feel safe. The day of our your, He sent Kuda who was our driver and he also was awesome. Both were real gentleman and very knowledgeable about the tours.. I truly appreciate Remmy making this happen for me at the last minute. His information is locked in and we will use him again if we return to Cape Town. Bravo RemmyWritten 9 November 2024
- Trip458087819760 contributionsSee the townships, it’s a very meaningful trip! This tour was the highlight of my visit. After visiting Robben island it was important to see the townships and the history of apartheid in person. Save your souvenir shopping- you will go to the township’s community center where you meet the local artists and can purchase from them directly. We asked if we could also purchase gifts at a local store for the children and had an amazing time passing out coloring books, colored pencils, balls and games to the local kids. $100 goes so far in spreading joy and makes you feel so good. Remmy was our private tour guide and he was awesome. Thank you for this day, I will never forget it!Written 26 September 2024
- Trip458087819760 contributionsPrivate tour with Remmy for the win! Don’t miss the botanical gardens. We did a private tour with Remmy. I’m so glad we opted for the private option. It allowed the flexibility to move things around as the weather permitted. We spent more time at the places we loved, like the botanical gardens. We did this tour on the first day of our trip to Cape Town. It was a great overview of the city and helped us plan our next few days. We got photos at all the best spots while we learned all about the city and its history. Thanks Remmy!Written 26 September 2024

- 80JamesA0 contributionsBest Tour Option in South AfricaWe had to opportunity to take the Private City Tour Table Mountain + Cable Car Ticket Camps Bay H/D Private City Tour of Cape Town Half Day with Remmy and Raw Tours. We highly recommend this experience. Remmy picked us up on time at our hotel in a clean and well maintained vehicle. He was professional, courteous, and extremely knowledgeable. The tour started at Table Mountain. He whisked us past the queue with pre purchased tickets and provided a wealth of information as we explored the amazing vistas. He also takes amazing pictures, capturing us and the stunning backdrops. Lion’s Head. Signal Hill. Bo-kaap. Hout Bay. Downtown Cape Town. Etc. We ended with a better appreciation of the city. - Cornwall760 contributionsIt started out wrong, but EXCEPTIONAL in the end.We booked the trip on-line. Unfortunately everything went wrong ! Nobody met us at the pick up rendez-vous. We angrily called RAW tours…. Remy answered the phone and quickly calmed us down. They missed the booking, but a true test of a professional is how you recover from such an oversight. Remy rushed down to meet us, no luck, all ferries were booked, NOT wanting to give up, using his powers of influence he finally got us on another ferry to Robben Island. My wife was overjoyed, Remy was intent on not spoiling our experience. We appreciated all his efforts. To our surprise, Remy was at the Port upon our return only to check on us, he so exceeded our expectations we ended up going to the Cheetah Farm in the afternoon with him for another great experience. Our credit to Remy and RAW Tours for their dedication to customer service, things can go wrong at anytime but it’s how you recover that shows your true qualities. BRAVO !! Thank you from, Andrew and Janett B.Written 3 March 2024
