Best guide tour ever!
Dec 2019 • Couples
Me and my wife Silvana have been to SA in mid december. We booked the tour and all the proceedings were very smooth. The tour is amazing. Wonderful settings wild animals( seals, baboons, ostridges, penguins!) and a nice bathing at the end on Muizenberg beach. But Rene, our guide, made the difference! Lots of infos and tips, not only over the tour, but about culture , lifestyle ,language and politics in SA. After a whole day with her (she drove us very safelly along the way )we felt like part of the family!
Dankie, Rene! Tot siens

Special experience - wine tasting and evening in the township
Mar 2019
Rene took 6 of my family to visit two vineyards Ernie Els in Stellenbosch and Fairview in Paarl. We had specially asked for these two vineyards as my husband, mother and I had already visited them years earlier with my late father and we wanted to show my brother and sisters somewhere that meant a lot to him. We asked Rene if she could keep it a secret that we were going to Fairview until we arrived there and she happily complied.
Through conversations she had had with us she was aware that we all love cheese and unbeknown to me she had booked the master tasting session for us. As my mother has mobility issues she felt that it would be easier for her to enjoy a sit down tasting. Rene offered us the chance to cancel with no problem if we did not want the extra expense but it was an amazing experience and everyone thoroughly enjoyed it. Rene was kind and considerate always ensuring my mum could get in and out of the minibus ok and taking her as near as she could to the entrances. She shared her knowledge about the area and the people and her passion and love of Cape Town and its surroundings shone through. She was easy to talk to and offered advice without being pushy.
I had organised most days for the trip but upon hearing my sister in law express an interest in seeing how real Cape towners live, she suggested an evening in one of the townships. A little unsure about safety at night, Rene reassured us that it was perfectly safe and we spent a fantastic evening in the home of a lovely lady named Bongi. This enterprising lady opens her home for food and entertainment and spent time with us while the food was being prepared giving us her take on life. (Which made a lot of sense!!!). A fantastic buffet was provided with so much variety and quantity of food followed by a performance by a group of local young men of traditional and also well known international songs. We would not have had this experience without Rene but at no time did we fell she was trying to sell additional tours.

Wonderful experience
Mar 2019
We used Rene's services a couple of different times. She was referred to us by friends. We had a definitive itinerary of what we wanted to do. I contacted her ahead of time so that she was prepared for what we expected. She was warm, friendly and knowledgable of the history. I would use her services again. The site does not give an option of our visit but it was 2017.

A day of wine tours!
Dec 2019 • Couples
I've had the honor of traveling with many tour guides and Rene is surely one of the best (all across the lands). She was timely (a big thing for us Americans). She was passionate and accurate about the history and culture of South Africa. She knew how to read our interested and catered our wine tour to our preferences. She knew when to give us space to chat, and when to bless us with her company and insight. She really is an amazing woman, behind just her tour guide experiences. She is VERY trusting and we felt very safe with her. In short, she went above and beyond her tour-call-of-duty and we are eternally grateful. We've been grateful enough to stay connected since our tour last year and I'm always so excited to see what she does with her groups! 10/5 stars, would see Rene again and travel with her.

Wonderful memories
Jan 2020
We visited Cape Town on our month long trip in South Africa and booked a day with this lovely lady . Rene is a great guide and good company we were picked up in the morning from our hotel and our first visit was to district 6 and the museum . Next we visited a township as a local lady Rene is very knowledgeable and passionate about what she does . Finally we finished the day trying local dishes in a neibourhood restaurant before arriving back at our hotel with memories of our day seeing the other side of South Africa .
