After pickup from your Buenos Aires hotel and a private transfer to the port, hop aboard an express ferry for the around 1-hour journey to Colonia del Sacramento. I thought the tour guide was great! But the trip was too expensive. Will Avoid Viator tours - clearly a huge markup. Had a pleasant time. Would go again, but without the intermediator

I had read reviews suggesting that this ENTIRE DAY trip was a bit overhyped. Add a mix up in missing the Viator email with the tour directions didn't help. I was dropped at the terminal by the very nice driver and pointed to a desk....More

We were picked up right on time as advertised and although there was much traffic our driver navigated the roads to perfection and got us to the boat right on time. We were met in Colonia by our guide to gave us great historical explanations...More

This is a complicated trip to review. In brief, we enjoyed the walking tour and would have missed a lot if we did it on our own...the first time. Yes we would return. However the transfers could have been accomplished just as easily by taxi....More

Hello - I only know about going from the terminal in Buenos Aires - it was a simple taxi ride from the hotel. Sorry I don't know more.
