About the operator
Don’t take it from us – here’s what people have to say about this operator:
- bf6980 contributionsWhat in the world…. Fantastic!!!It’s starts off with live horses!! Such an amazing show that taught me to have a strong respect for the tango. Especially loved the energy from the curly haired guitar player. Happy and full of energy. sooo good!Written 2 February 2025
- uschi21220 contributionsBest Tango performance in Buenos AiresWe thoroughly enjoyed a fantastic show. Way above our expectations. The dancers were very professional, artistic and athletic. It was a joy to watch them. Also loved the Goucho performers that entertained the audience with a very skillful and energetic performance. Would highly recommend this establishment.Written 28 January 2025
- Sally D0 contributionsA perfect day in Iguazu Falls!Everything about this was perfect, pick up and drop off with private driver. Airport was smooth. The private guide in Iguazu Falls was friendly, knowledgeable He took us to all scenic sights throughout the National park.Written 22 January 2025
- T1749ICdonaldk0 contributionsDaytrip to Iguazu FallsAmazing views! The tour was flawless from the hotel pickup to exploring the National Park. Our guide, Emynuel, was fantastic and made our experience wonderful! He shared many facts and history of the region and Argentina.Written 19 January 2025
- Dreamer466956265310 contributionsDisappointedDisappointed We have been to La Piazzolla several times and have recommended the show in the past. We booked this show far in advance as it was our daughter’s birthday. She had never been to a Tango show before as this was her first visit to Buenos Aires. We had notified the theater In advance that this was a special occasion. We arrived early and were given a table to the side floor level. We spoke to someone who understood English and was told there was never a guarantee and he would try to move us later. (This never happened) If we wanted to cancel we would have to do so on line as we had booked directly with the theater on line. This made no sense. A waiter told us he was our server but he never returned so some else took our order after we asked for help. This time we had one small meat empanada and was told the other was cheese. In the past there were two large meat empanadas. The cheese included ham which we were not told by our waitress. The steak was tough and full of fat and grizzle. The chunks of potato were hard and over cooked. We were never asked if everything was okay or if we needed another beverage. To be honest the show was not as good as in the past. Some of it was really boring. We could not see the videos behind the band or parts of the show that started in the side balcony. The worst part was one waiter in particular walked back and forth during the show to clear entre meal and dessert dishes and glasses. Our waitress did it once. Why was the clearing plates, glasses and empty bottles necessary when the show is an hour and was to be the highlight of the evening. We have pictures of waiters instead of the dancers. People who came for the show only were seated in the middle in front of the stage. They did not even stay for the entire show. To say the least we will not return nor recommend Piazzolla Tango show. There are many other shows in the city.Written 18 January 2025
- DianneM250 contributionsTango and show at SenorAmazing show. History, stories, lots of Tango and a celebrated Argentinian singer accompanied by fantastic musicians. The lights and stage crew work extra hard on this show as well. Watch out for the special extras at the start, a gentleman scaling the side of the room for one act and of course all ending with - Don’t cry for me Argentina.Written 5 January 2025
- Getaway408547838140 contributionsGood Show Bad FoodWe arrived and we’re greeted nicely. The show was amazing. The dancers were great. The problem in this place is the food. Disgusting. We Burrata and it was watery. The steak was tough and the trout was very fishy. I returned the plate. However as far as the quality of the tango show it was good. PS the show is explicit for young children.Written 2 January 2025
- T8359UKjamesi0 contributionsA fantastic show. The show was well worth the wait. Didn’t start till 10:15 pm so quite late. The water service was a 5/10 but the actual show was incredible. Go and see this !!Written 28 December 2024
- GKC500 contributionsNot "Broadway" qualityA lot of waiting for pick up and for the show to start. It doesn't start until 10:15pm. We were waiting in the hotel lobby from 8:30. Show production was tacky/cheesy. The costumes, most of the dancing, and the on-stage musicians were good. One dancing couple didn't know what they were doing and were behind in every single group dance. The singing from the sweaty Senor was the worst and made the show drag. The duos that danced and the one female singer were entertaining.Written 26 December 2024
- 61HelenE0 contributionsTango show and supperFabulous show - set in old original tango house this is a great show - the dancers and singers were brilliant - really enjoyed the show. Staff were attentive and service was excellent Dinner was good with tradition dishes and decent local wine. Driver picked us up from hotel pre dinner and dropped us off after the show. Would definitely recommend this company - very safe and did what it said it wouldWritten 16 December 2024
- tecah20190 contributionsFrustrating FAENA tangoThe Faena tango show was great but the experience was terrible. We booked one month ahead, as we thought a nice place was going to be assigned for us. But NO! By chance our pick up car went on pane twice during the hotel/Faena transfer so, we were not the first to arrive.... we were placed next to the band, but behind an enourmous pillar. part of the show was missed, because of the pillar. to make it worse, tkt for the tango show increased prices in dec. ok, inflation everywhere, even in usd, but we booked in Nov!!!!! we explain the waitress that we booked for usd 240 not 260/person. We were treated as if we were bagging for a discount.... so, manager came and, although she agreed to charge the previously agreed 240/peraon, she made us feel miserable as if she was making us a favour to charge exactly what was agreed before. so, to make it worse, when waiting the driver to take us back to the hotel, the driver was there with the same car, which dropped on panic twice on the way in. we kindly said we wouldn't take the same car - not the kind driver - as the previous experience was not great and the car was not reliable. NO other option was offered. No solution offered from FAENA. Finally, to get back to out hotel, after a very frustrating and expensive experience, we had to pay out of our pocket, on the top of the all the USD 480, an additional transfer. no one cared about that.Written 15 December 2024
- Eva B0 contributionsExceptional evening of fine dining and entertainmemtThere are many tango shows in Buenos Aires to choose from but I can simply say this exceeded my expectations more than I can even explain. The show was outstanding. Highly recommend.Written 4 December 2024
- ChristineC11880 contributionsFamily trip - Nov 2024We had a wonderful time at the dinner and show. I actually thought it was just going to be tango and was very surprised to hear the singers and the musicians and the different types of dancing as well. It was a really great time and I would recommend it to others. The service was very good. The food was good as well but a lot so be prepared. The shuttle service and driver were very good. We were out in Palermo Hollywood in an AIRBNB and they had no problem getting us.Written 29 November 2024
- Clifford E0 contributionsExcellent Tango Experience! This was a fantastic show. We had a table in the balcony with a great view. The musicians were amazing, particularly the piano and bandoneon (accordian) players. The singers were wonderful. But the dancers really were the best, energetic, expressive, graceful, and precise! We had dinner before the show at the adjacent restaurant. The steak was great, but the other dishes not too special. It was convenient to eat there. All-in-all it was a must see show when you visit Buenos Aires!Written 24 November 2024
- AGLAVIC0 contributionsMust to go a Broadway Tango ShowIt is a Broadway Tango Show with all the great elements of the best authentic Buenos Aires Tango artists !! It is amazing ! The show top A+ but no skip dinnerWritten 23 November 2024

Our Jewish guide Matias was excellent. He lived in New York for two years, and was fluent in English. We discovered a lot of Jewish history in Buenos Aires.
One thing we wish we had known was that we needed to have our passports with us to get into Templo Libertad and the Jewish history museum, so we had to go back the following day with our passports in hand.
Overall, we liked the tour a lot and can highly recommend it.

I enjoyed my private tour of the robust Buenos Aires Jewish community. The tour included a visit to the Jewish Museum and first community synagogue.
The guide is an expert in his field, an academic with superb knowledge of Argentine history and the role Jews have played in it.
It was also heartening to see the reconstructed Jewish Federation building destroyed by the Hezbollah bombing more than two decades ago.
This day tour was well worth the price!

Matias was a bright young man with a wealth of historical knowledge regarding the history of Jews in Argentina and, in particular, in Buenos Aires. His English is excellent and having spent 2 years in NYC, was familiar with the Orthodox community there as well. I would highly recommend him!

Ariel was the perfect guide to Jewish Buenos Aires. He is a student writing a dissertation on Jewish immigration to Argentina after the Holocaust. He grew up in the Once neighborhood, and his parents still live there. He showed us the synagogues, the yeshivas, and the kosher pizza restaurant. He also showed us the sites where terrorists bombed the AMIA and the Israeli embassy. Ariel is knowledgeable about the Jewish communities in Argentina, and he answered all of our questions. The tour was private--just my wife and me.

I arranged this tour which I posted on cruise-critic, so we 5 couples. We had a very comfortable minibus which more than accommodated us. Gabriel our guide was punctual & made our tour very interesting. In addition to the Jewish sights he gave us a very thorough city tour.
He was able to get permission to photograph the memorial wall of the victims of the bombing.
The tour was very successful & Gabriel was an excellent guide.

My wife and I took this Jewish tour of Buenos Aires with Ilan and his driver. Our guide was very personable, thorough and knowledgeable - we were very pleased.
There is a deep Jewish history in Buenos Aires. This tour provides an excellent window into the past and present day Jewish experience in this remarkable city.
We were delighted with the mix of driving and walking. When we asked for a short coffee break, Ilan took us to a storied restaurant/cafe sharing his personal connections with the locale.
Highly recommended.
