The service makes experiencing tango in Buenos Aires a very enjoyable and trouble free one. Marcelo obviously knows a lot about Buenos Aires and tango and shares his love the city and the dance. You get to experience a variety of milongas and Marcelo helps you every step of the way. This is the absolute perfect way to get to see and experience tango and milongas in Buenos Aires. We are grateful and most appreciative of the service Marcelo provided to us and highly commend and recommend Tango Streets to others. Thanks Marcelo!!!Written 11 May 2019
- Hilde S0 contributionsTango nightMy boyfriend and l were both very happy with our tango experience in BA, with Marcelo and Natalia. We’re picked up at our hotel, which was very convenient, and taken to the location for the tango lesson. We danced for an hour and then went off to two different tango clubs. On the first club there was a fantastic orchestra and a very nice and informal ambience. Good finger food as well. Afterwards we went to the other club, which was more formal, and the music was another style. It was nice to see both, though I’d love to stay more time at the first one. I’d also like to dance even more than We did! All in all, a great opportunity to learn to tango with the locals! Marcelo and Natalia are very nice and friendly, and very good instructors.Written 11 October 2018
- Josh H0 contributionsOutstanding lessons and afternoonI was down in Buenos Aires on business with a colleague and had a free afternoon so decided to do tango lessons. What a treat! We spent the first hour doing lessons going over the basics of tango and learning a few of the core moves. Marcello and Natalie were incredibly patient and talented as instructor. Then we went to a very traditional milonga which is a tango party basically. Many of the people there were very good but as intimidating as that was, we got out and danced. It was a ton of fun and I learned a lot. Highly recommended as a way to spend an afternoon really getting to know Argentinian culture.Written 14 June 2018
- emilynaglegreen0 contributionsThe most memorable experience of a one-month tripMy husband and I spent a month in South America in March 2018 with a group of friends. During a week in BA, we spent an evening with Marcelo and his partner Nati, including a private lesson in a studio and two milonga visits. It's really an understatement to say it exceeded all our expectations; among all our many activities on the trip, was the most special moment for all who participated. Marcelo has a unique approach to teaching beginners, one that gave us all the tools to enjoy an unselfconscious evening in a milonga not as observers, but participants. It was absorbing, moving, fun, thought-provoking, and truly special. You don't need to know a thing -- you only need to be curious. Do it!Written 12 May 2018
- Jyoti C0 contributionsImmersive tango experienceMarcelo and Flor gave us a wonderful introduction and appreciation for Tango. We started with the lesson that was introductory but gave us the confidence to do basic moves at the traditional Milonga we visited first that gave us a nice overview of Milonga culture. They were great company as well and we really felt their passion for Tango. By the second Milonga we felt like Portenos dancing! The highlight was Marcelo took us to a third Milonga that had a live Tango orchestra that had a great crowd. We enjoyed it so much we ended up going to Milongas on our own in Buenos Aires 2 more times on our trip!Written 4 March 2018
- James R0 contributionsNot paint-by-numbersWe had two private lessons and after the second, Marcello and Constanza took us to a great milonga and we were up and dancing. Their approach is based on fundamentals -- you don't memorize a sequence of steps, you learn how to move, how to lead / respond & enough basic moves to be able to improvise on the dance floor. I'm not saying we were great out there but we learned some basic milonga functionality in a short time. They were both excellent teachers & fun to hang out with.Written 7 May 2017
- byersfam40 contributionsBeautiful Night Out with Marcelo and Constanza!!My wife and I travelled from the States for the sole purpose of experiencing the authentic Buenos Aires Tango scene. Marcelo and Constanza picked us up from our hotel precisely on time and took us to a studio for an hour lesson. The lesson was challenging yet gave us confidence to take a few moves onto the tango floor. The first milonga we visited was more on the bohemian side with a very eclectic feel. The dance floor was small with a stage on one end. Marcelo treated us to drinks, pizza and other appetizers that satisfied our hunger for sure. We danced a bit and then an authentic Argentine tango band took the stage complete with two bandoneon players, an upright bass, piano player, three violinists and a saxophonist. Two vocalists took turns singing. We were transported back into the golden age of Argentine Tango! It was truly a moment to savor for a lifetime! The second milonga was more formal with a larger dance floor and more dancers. There was recorded music until about 1:00 a.m when a vocalist/guitarist began singing. We left soon after that. Marcelo and Constanza then drove us to our hotel. One side note- these folks stay out late! Each night we visited milongas we stayed until at least 1:00 and the party was still going strong. I don't know when they sleep! :) I highly recommend Marcelo and Constanza for tango lessons and especially the tango night out. You will not be disappointed.Written 5 May 2017
- markcP1312OQ0 contributionsI could have danced all night.....!!One of the reasons I went to Buenos Aires was to Tango....or least try to tango..:) With the help of Tango Streets I experienced the real tango in a real environment of a real Milonga. Look out Fred Astaire !!! With the help of Constanza I mastered the Tango...well not really but it was the experience of it all that will live forever. I truly had a wonderful time so thanks to Tango Streets . Great time great people! Highly recommend TangoStreets..!Written 16 February 2017
- wendy8440 contributionsFabulous Tango lesson and Milonga experienceOur Tango tour was FABULOUS! No other word to describe it. It was everything we hoped for and more. Good value for money and the website accurately reflects the reality of what we experienced. Impossible to speak highly enough of Flor Beltramo who was our teacher. Her English is very very good, which made her easy to converse with and to understand instructions and questions. Her smile is so lovely, she makes you relax. She is not just a beautiful dancer with a lovely smile but an excellent teacher who has good teaching technique, loads of patience, knows when to praise and encourage and make everything fun at the same time. Her dancing partner, Facundo Karazey was charming and demonstrated the mans part to my husband beautifully. He too was patient, friendly and encouraging, and his smile was dazzling! The driver and guide/instructor arrived for our pickup at hotel exactly on time. The Driver was smiling and friendly as well as being a competent driver. He drove us to the lesson, picked us up, drove us to the Milonga, picked us up, returned us to the hotel, always on time, polite and smiling. Our visit to the Milonga was a great experience to see everyday people enjoying dancing the Tango. We were made to feel welcome. Florencia explained manners, customs, made us feel comfortable and encouraged us to get up and dance and practise what we had been taught. I recommend this tour to all who want to learn and experience Tango dancing in Buenos Aires. I wish we could do it all over again. We will take home to Australia some Tango memories and dance steps we can use!Written 27 January 2017
- Pascale P0 contributionsMore like friends m tour guidesIt was everything I expected and more. The tango side of things was fantastic, but even better than that it wasn't anywhere near as touristy as I thought it would be. Marcelo and Constanza were both incredibly warm and it didn't feel like they were just following a script and a schedule like some tours can feel. My fiance and I had a great time learning some basic steps as well as some history around tango, and then visiting two different milongas where we got to join in with locals. The best part is we've found something we want to keep doing together when we get home. I'm usually a terrible follower but Marcelo and Constanza did a great job teaching me to let go and get in to it. We'd definitely do it again!Written 27 October 2016
- OkieMichael0 contributionsLike a night out with your Argentinian friendsConstanza and Marcelo make this an adventure to remember. After a hotel pick up, we went to a tango studio for a lesson. I had no dance experience but did learn a few things for later. We also enjoyed mate (like tea) and sweets during a break. Then on to the Milongas (local dance halls). Upon arrival, there were mostly novice and intermediate tango dancers which made it easy to try dancing. Later in the evening, we would be treated to amazingly beautiful expert tango couples dancing. There was food (try the empanadas!) and drinks available throughout the evening. Don't forget dessert. And all through the evening, you are learning about tango customs and life in Buenos Aires. The best part- this is like a night out with friends. I enjoyed myself so much that I went a second time several nights later. I learned a few more dance moves and we visited a different Milonga. If you want a great Argentinian night out enjoying tango, try Tangostreets. I went as a solo but couples would have a great time as well. BTW, this is only the second on-line review that I have been moved to write-I thought the experience was that good.Written 24 October 2016
- Iris K0 contributionsBest experience of Buenos AiresBoth times that we were in Buenos Aires on holiday, Constanza gave us the most amazing experience of the city, the culture, and the tango lifestyle. She introduced us to tango and her great passion and skill inspired us to continue dancing back home. She took us to the best salons, introduced us to the local scene and people, and always explained everything that was going with great enthusiasm. Furthermore, she also showed us the best restaurants, events, and told us where to go for sightseeing and shopping. For our future holidays to Buenos Aires we hope to always have her as our guide. We could not imagine anyone more capable and fun to give us the best experience of authentic Buenos Aires!Written 19 October 2016
- HombreRayo0 contributionsExcellent tourIf you want to learn tango, to see different shows, experience real milongas and have a great tango night, this is the option. You will watch tango, you will learn and participate too. Its mixed and complete. The tour guides are very nice and great tango teachers.Written 19 October 2016
- Becca F0 contributionsCan't recommend Tangostreets enough!Although you would never guess it given her youth and energy, Constanza has nearly two decades of experience on the pistas, having grown up in the Tango world. She knows the tango scene in Buenos Aires backwards and forwards, and all of its many colorful characters. If you want a truly authentic experience, go to Tangostreets. Constanza is a beautiful person, inside and out, an excellent teacher, and one of the most generous and warm people you will ever meet. Can't recommend Tangostreets highly enough. Not to miss!Written 19 October 2016
- alantarazona130 contributionsAn unforgettable nightI found myself amazed by the excellent approach that Tango Streets had with Tango and what it actually means in Buenos Aires. First they took me to a Tango Class led by their guides, I found myself breaking through timidity and learning my first steps of Tango. I was amazed by how comfortable I was during the class and how easily they made it seem, I got to taste Mate and Alfajores during a Break. Then, we went to a Milonga, which is the equivalent of a Tango centric Nightclub, filled with culture and the true face of Tango in the city, I was captivated by the live band that played and the people dancing to it as natural as ever. I honestly had the urge to dance. Finally, the last stop was at another Milonga that was more traditional, there I also danced and felt amazed by the amazing singer that played that night. She played an spontaneous set of Tango, Milonga (which is primordial Tango songs) and Jazz. Her name was Sofia Viola and she reminded me of Amy Whinehouse during her whole show. I had drinks, pizza and friends I made that night to spend the time, I naturally forgot I was actually during a Tour and let the night flow carelessly. It was incredible.Written 18 October 2016

What a wonderful time we had with Marcelo and Flor. This alone was worth the trip to Buenos Aires -
From collecting us at the Hotel - a car just for 2 - Marcelo shared his live and enthusiasm of the Tango. The lesson - effectively one to one - was perfect and a great introduction to this amazing dance!
This was followed by an introduction to the Milongas and left us spell bound! Can't wait fir the next time - We can not recommend this event enough. Thank You Marcelo and Flor
