Laura was the highlight of our trip to Buenos Aires. She is thoroughly knowledgeable. If you can, book her for the full day. Otherwise, half day is fine. 10/10, would book again, and would recommend to everybody who is planning a trip to BA.

We stopped in Buenos Aires on a Princess Cruise and I had reserved this tour for a group of 6 people ahead of time. The reservation process was smooth and there was very good communication with Cultura Cercana which included specific instructions for meeting our guide. Ross, our guide, is fluent in English and extremely knowledgeable about his city and what is happening in the rest of the world. He was informative, enthusiastic, and proud to show us the highlights of Buenos Aires. He took us to the normal tourist attractions, but also some that were off the usual tour routes. He even made suggestions for places to stand to get the best photographs of certain sites. At our request, he took us to a restaurant that the locals frequent. The food was delicious and very reasonably priced. He did an excellent job as a guide. We paid with US$ at the end of the tour. We also used Cultura Cercana to make reservations and arrange transportation to a local club for an evening dinner and tango show. You could pay with credit card or US$ at the door. We chose to go to a club called La Ventana and had a wonderful dinner and cultural experience that evening. I would highly recommend Cultura Cercana. We often try to book with private companies when in port. You can arrange for smaller groups at a cheaper price than most similar excursions offered by the cruise company.

6 of us enjoyed an informative 4 hour tour around central Buenos Aires. We were in a comfortable vehicle with a knowledgeable tour guide. The tour was a combination of riding a walking and was an enjoyable experience for all.

My wife and I really enjoyed our private tour of Buenos Aires with this company. For us, it's totally worth it to avoid large groups and buses. We were picked up at our hotel by our driver Daniel and our guide Ross (or Rosty). Ross was seriously one of the best tour guides we've had, and we have a fair bit of travel experience. They are happy to personalize tours, and the way they arranged the day for us was great - traveling between the various sights and neighborhoods was nearly seamless. Ask for Ross if you really enjoy little details and specific history - if you just want to get your picture taken in front of the famous sights, save him for somebody else!

We had a wonderful 7-hour private tour of the city of Buenos Aires. Our tour guide was Rosty and driver was Daniel. Rosty was extremely knowledgeable and highly educated. Further more, he was a great communicator making the tour so much more fun. He was very flexible and accommodated our last minute request. I had a long layover in Buenos Aires on my return trip so I scheduled this private tour. I couldn't be happier with my experience! Russ (?) was great! He was so knowledgeable and proud of his country and had so many interesting facts to share. It was a quick 4 hour tour and I will definitely go back and book a full day tour as soon as I can!

Luciana & Luciano from Cultura Cercana made our trip with 5 friends all around South America a breeze! They coordinated private tours in 7 different cities and 3 different countries (Chile, Argentina and Uruguay), making my trip planning a breeze! We were on a cruise ship down the west coast of South America and up the east coast and when we ran into some trouble because of a storm, making us unable to stop in one scheduled port where we were suppose to have a tour, they responded by coordinating a new tour in the city we were diverted to.... all with only ONE DAY notice. They even gave me a couple of different options. That is service. I really cannot say enough, I highly recommend them. They were organized, informative, responsive and had a high attention to detail... including exactly where, when how I would meet each different guide. Thank for making our trip a HUGE success!

Booked tours in Valparasio, Puerto Montt, Puerto Chacabuco and Ushuaia with this company because of their reviews, website and great coordinator, Luciana. She was a pleasure to deal with for all of the tours. We had a change in ports and did not dock in Valparasio as originally scheduled, and instead docked in Santiago de Chile. Even with a change, we were still able to do the tour to Valparasio as planned. I mentioned to her from the beginning I was hoping to get a group of 6-8 people for the tours, and that we'd want an English speaking guide, an air conditioned vehicle with plenty of room. We were always picked up on time, and I was happy with the driver/guides and the van they used. I would definitely recommend their firm.

Four of us contacted Cultura with questions and within a very short time had our questions answered by Luciana. We booked airport to hotel transfers for our arrival day and a four hour tour with transfer to the cruise port the next. She made sure everything was just as we wanted. Everyone from the company was professional and knowledgeable. AND ON TIME! Even after we left Buenos Aires, we had other questions and Luciana was more than happy to help. If I ever return to South America, Cultura Cercana will be my first call for transportation and tours.
