Dolores has organized an amazing trip for our family. We went from BA to Southern (El Calafate) and Northern (Bariloche) Patagonia and stayed for 5 days at estancia El Josefina at Lake San Martin. We had the true Argentinian experience with Asado, horseback riding and hiking. I was visiting Buenos Aires with my 11 and 13 year old kids and needed to find some activities while their dad was working there. Loli arranged a scavenger hunt for us and it was a lot of fun! We had to ask questions along the way, solve riddles and puzzles and stopped at lots of interesting places. They even gave the kids Messi shirts at the end of the hunt and gave me a gift basket with food! Definitely recommend!

Hand in hand with Loli, 13 school friends, got to explore some fascinating spots from the province of Jujuy on the northeastern region of Argentina. We celebrated our more than 40 years of friendship guided by Loli, who happens to have this flexible, engaged, knowledgeable, charming, generous, focused, smart and charismatic personality, so remarkable when it comes to organizing and leading a trip with ladies with such divergent personalities, rhythms and tastes. Nonetheless, because of her vision, craftiness and empathy, her very carefully designed schedule proceeded smoothly for all of us. Everyone enjoyed every bit of the so well planned experience. From the moment we reunited in Aeropuerto Jorge Newbery, she gathered us in with some clever merchandise: t-shirts and caps with the phrase : “Save the drama for your llama” which linked us all thirteen and framed the beginning of our very happy journey. Highlights of the trip for me were: Dinner in “La Picadita” (Tilcara), Salinas grandes and a private picnic waiting for us under a gazebo beside some “salt pools”, the picturesque Purmamarca with its dumbstruck natural surroundings and last but not least, walking the “quebrada de las señoritas” (Uquía) an amazing hike backdropped by its immense red irregular rocks embracing us with its magical scenery. It was wonderful to work with Loli of The Hummingbird Trip. Being a native Argentinian, Loli was supremely knowledgeable and resourceful about her home country and all it has to offer and was able to expertly cater to our needs of adventure, a little downtime and lots of great meals. Loli displayed great attention to detail and was very thorough, too often waiting for us to return an email than the other way around. Loli had fabulous suggestions for our family of four (two teenagers 14 & 17) making amazing hotel and dining reservations, and providing unforgettable excursions in El Calafate, Bariloche and Buenos Aires with knowledgeable and very friendly tour guides. It was wonderful to work directly with a travel company in the country of our destination; Loli was able to meet us on our first day in BA and then she made the effort to meet us to say goodbye on our last with a bottle of Argentinian wine and sweets for the kids. A very nice touch. Hummingbird was such a pleasure to work with and we hope to use them again for a future trip to Argentina.

we had an unforgettable experience in El Calafate with my husband and a group of friends. 10 in total. Loli organise everything for us. Loli was a dream to work with from the beginning. Not only did she schedule a customized Buenos Aires tour for me and my friend, but she also helped answer questions about our whole itinerary. This was my first trip to South America, and I quickly learned that email correspondence isn’t as reliable as it is in the States. Loli was definitely the exception. She got back to us right away and was extremely helpful. She actually saved our whole trip - unbeknownst to us, there was a world leader summit in Buenos Aires when our tour was scheduled, and if it weren’t for Loli we would have had no idea. She helped us rebook a hotel in an area that wasn’t near the summit, offered suggestions for activities in El Chalten (where we had to stay a couple extra days due to a flight cancelation), and rescheduled our tour. Domi was our tour guide and Richard was our driver. They were FABULOUS. We ended up only having 24 hours in Buenos Aires, and we spent almost 7 of them with our guides. We felt that we soaked up everything we could in a short amount of time, and we are so thankful that they made our journey the best it could be.

My wife and I had an incredible tour of the city thanks to Loli and her team. We were able to visit unique neighborhoods that were not otherwise on the typical sightseeing tours, plus could ask real questions about what it is like to live, work, and play in this incredible city (ie from the eyes of a local)

My 16 year old daughter and I just came back from an unforgettable two week adventure in Argentina. Thankfully a friend from BA introduced us to Loli at The Hummingbird Trip as we were looking for a unique, non-touristy experience - our priorities were challenging (but not dangerous) treks, comfortable but interesting accommodations (non-chain hotels), amazing local cuisine and a sense of the local culture. Loli and Hummingbird totally got what we were looking for and expertly planned every detail of the trip with transportation, accommodations, an amazing and charming guide in BA (thank you Marriana!), some of the most interesting restaurants we've been to anywhere and the most unforgettable estancia in a remote part of Patagonia (accessible from El Calafate by 4x4 on a dirt road for 3 hrs through unforgettable scenery - amazing hiking, horseback riding, cuisine and charming guest house). In addition, whenever we needed a real-time recommendation - museums, restaurants, interesting neighborhoods - we felt like we had 24/7 ground support by text or phone from Loli and team. They genuinely cared and had our backs and were committed to us having a great and hassle free time. What I also loved about Loli is that she would push us hard when she felt the experience was worth it and as a result we had some of our greatest experiences. I can't recommend Hummingbird more emphatically if you want to make the most out of your limited vacation time (we had 12 days - 3 in BA and 8 in Patagonia), get off the beaten path, and enjoy a unique and unforgettable experience. If I could give Hummingbird ****** I would!
