About the operator

- JanetC-MN-USA0 contributionsExceeded Expectations!Highly recommend! Both Alan the owner and Tracy the guide contacted me prior to the tour to obtain my areas of interest, any must sees/do, dietary restrictions or anything they should know in order to best tailor the day to suit my interests and wants. The day with Tracy was awesome! She is personable, knowledgeable, and so engaging. She provided a great overview and stories regarding history and people of Argentina as well as BA architecture, culture, foods, neighborhoods, and sites. I have traveled and toured extensively around the world and this experience was one of my best!Written 9 January 2023
- jeffreyq20170 contributionsVery engaging BA tourWe took a private tour of La Boca, San Telmo, and the historic/center city of BA with Oliver. He was so informative, while at the same time engaging and interesting. He adapted his presentation to our interests. We’d highly recommend this tour company, which was very professional in sending confirmations and even advance photos of our driver and guide.Written 2 February 2020
- 4ontheroadMD0 contributionsPerfect Tour & GuideWe did the Retiro, Recoleta and Cemetery tour and it was excellent. Our guide Oliver was extremely knowledgeable and had lived in the city for many years. As an American expat, his English was of course excellent, he was also engaging and entertaining, plus willing to answer questions. We enjoyed learning a lot about Buenos Aires and his life there. Would highly recommend the tour!Written 9 December 2019
- GatorPH0 contributionsBuenos Tours Set the Bar Even Higher with return Tour!We returned to Buenos Aires for a very short visit after 3 years and contacted Alan to suggest a 3h walking tour of interesting areas. Jessica met our very high expectations! I realized that we wanted a souvenir when Jessica met us at our hotel. Within 15 minutes, she found the perfect gentleman's shoe horn that we would not have found on our own. Our walking tour included areas and little artist's shops that we would never find without a guide. We even got to experience a public bus. Jessica provided insights into history and development of the areas visited. In a very short time, the tour maximized contextual perspectives for us. Alan also arranged transportation for us from our hotel to EZE airport with Pablo. He was excellent. We will certainly contact to Buenos Tours if we return to Buenos Aires.Written 18 October 2019
- Ephava10 contributionsHalf Day in Buenos AiresMy husband and I did a half day walking tour with Oliver in April. The day was cloudy and misty but the tour was great. We had the chance to visit La Boca, San Telmo and Puerto Maduro. We started out knowing very little about the country we had chosen to visit but Oliver was fantastic in filling in historical, and other details. We truly got the feel for the neighborhoods we visited and Oliver took the time to personalize the tour to our interests. We enjoyed the private aspect and the tour proceeded at our pace depending on our interests. We would highly recommend this tour to others and wish Oliver well in his upcoming pursuits.Written 28 April 2019
- AZCasualTraveler0 contributionsExcellent Tour of Buenos AiresWe had selected BuenosTours over the other option we had as passengers from a cruise ship. BuenosTours provided with a private tour guide to see some of the highlights around Buenos Aires in the allotted time that we had before we had to return the cruise ship. The tour guide (Jack) was knowledgeable and friendly, who also spoke very good english because he lived in the United States before moving to Argentina. The guide brought us back to the cruise ship on-time before it left Buenos Aires. Highly recommend BuenosTours if you are looking for private tour guide.Written 4 April 2019
- fran_2014020 contributionsAn Amazing DayAfter wandering around Buenos Aires for 7 hours with our tour guide Ceri I felt that I not only saw many of the tourist attractions but also got a good feel for the city and the people who live there. It really enhanced our experience walking around with someone who could relate to us as Canadians, and to the people of Buenos Aires. Ceri geared the trip to include our interests --- my husband is an avid photographer so Ceri took us to his favorite camera store. We also had the opportunity to meet and speak with store owners, restaurant owners and people on the street and to try some of the local cuisine. When we booked the trip I thought it seemed a little expensive but I can say I now feel it was money well spent.Written 1 April 2019
- JEZlhp0 contributionsBuenos Aires - Solo Tour with Ceri of Buenos ToursCeri was fantastic. While seeing the important buildings of BA, he took me through neighborhoods to meet and interact with the everyday citizens of BA who have an important story to tell. They were butchers, pharmacists, restaurant owners, bartenders, shop owners and charity workers. Interaction with ordinary citizens brought the city alive and helped me understand their thoughts about the US and hopefully eased their concerns because of what they hear on TV. It was a great day and Ceri is a great ambassador for BA and its citizens.Written 25 March 2019
- AuroraUK0 contributionsOnce again, excellent day tourWe had previously used the company 3 years ago and chose them again for our pre cruise stay in Buenos Aires in February. We met up again with Ceri who had previously shown us around B.A. and once again we visited different areas and met the locals. Ceri is great at striking up conversations with the local people. You get to interact with them and learn so much. Ceri is such a persaonable type and in our case a few local drinks always help along the way. A great company to deal with and prompt service and reply’s. AuroraUKWritten 21 March 2019
- DAVEFORTA0 contributionsWalking tour and transportation by Buenos ToursThe Argentine adventure has concluded, and I want and need to tell you how much I appreciate the wonderful contribution Buenos Tours made to that trip. Your guidance on hotel accommodations and restaurants in Buenos Aires was impeccable. Don Bodie was an excellent walking tour guide: knowledgeable, personable, and engaging. Pablo was not only a capable driver who always showed up on time in the place where he said he would be but also was a fine conversationalist who contributed greatly to our understanding of Argentina.Written 14 March 2019
- Sigridtravels0 contributionsGood city walking tourJust a night before we contacted you to get a tour and it worked, thank you for being that flexible. Jessica joined us on the next day who has an exceptional personality, very recommendable to have her as your guide. She shared lots of information with us and not to forget, she recommended us a place to dine that was impeccable. I didn't expect that much of history in Buenos Aires but for our first day here it was the perfect plan and thing to do.Written 9 March 2019
- 456michaelt0 contributionsOutstanding!!Met at our hotel with Jessica for our 7 hour walking tour. She is extremely knowledgeable about BA and mapped out a fantastic full day seeing many neighborhoods. Informed us of history, facts, culture, hints, etc. Great value & highly recommended!!Written 8 March 2019
- Geoff W0 contributionsJust rightWe were three couples of mature age and Jack was our guide. He was very pleasant and friendly, and answered all our questions with ease. The speed of the tour was set by us, not Jack, so we didn’t have to hurry to keep up with a fast walker. We picked the three hour walk, which included pick up from our cruise ship and our return to the ship at the end – a little more expensive, but worth it for our peace of mind in a strange city. The pick-up driver Jorge pointed out places of interest as he drove us to meet Jack & on our return to the ship – overall a very pleasant morning that gave us an overview of the city for when we left our cruise and spent three nights before flying home. Highly recommended !Written 7 March 2019
- Wayne S0 contributionsGreat Day in Buenos AiresWe used BuenosTours for our tour visit in Buenos Aires. This was the second time we have used this tour company. Our guide was Jack who was wonderful! What we like about BuenosTours is that we can dictate our own pace of the tour which for us is to do and see as much as we can fit in one day! Jack was great at allowing us to go fast pace. We enjoyed his many facts and stories as well as his great humor! He suggested a great restaurant for dinner (La Brigada) which we enjoyed a very good steak dinner! We definitely will use BuenosTours when we return next year with our daughters!Written 27 February 2019
- flyawaywithme_de0 contributionsWonderful tour through the heart of Buenos AiresWe have chosen BuenosTours for our first day in Buenos Aires to get to see the highlights of the city but also to get helpful insights in how to navigate the city. We were picked up at our hotel (which is great if you are still unsure how to get from A to B in a new city) and our guide Oliver took us to all the great places in the heart of the city. The tour was also a great preparation for us for the other days we spent in the city. Also great to see that BuenosTours is still run in a way to connect with everyone individually.Written 20 February 2019

We had a full day with Oliver and really enjoyed the entire tour with him. Beside trying some typical Empanadas he told us a lot of interesting things while walking around through the city and showing us great places. We laughed a lot and got a nice connection to the city of Buenos Aires aswell as for the current situation and history of the country.
If you find the time and are interested in a special experience - just do this tour, it s really one of the best experiences i had while travelling around.

This organization was professional and very well organized. They sent us a questionnaire to fully understand our approach to travelling and what we wanted to get from the tour. Jorge, who collected us from the hotel to meet our tour guide, started the tour by explaining the city layout and neighborhood relationships to each other as we traversed morning traffic. We then spent more than a full day walking with Ceri, who is a wonderful, informative guide, as well as a fun and interesting person to spend a day conversing and sharing stories. Ceri brought Buenos Aires and the Argentinian culture, history and experience to life. We did this tour the first day and Ceri's insights helped us navigate & expand our experience on our own. Great tour with a fantastic guide!

This Company got highly rated reviews and I contacted Alan to see if we could get booked. Unfortunately the day we wanted was full up but asked that we be put on a waiting list and lucky us, this worked out with a cancellation. Oliver was our tour guide and we had a great day. He is extremely personable and flexible; we had a number of small requests that ranged from finding Cuban cigars to stopping at a pharmacy. All this done along the way in walking several barrios, riding the subway and learning lots of facts and history of Buenos Aires and Argentina. Oliver, being an American expat, made us comfortable and it was like spending the day with a friend. The way this day went was exactly our preferred way to see a new travel destination and get the benefit of having someone along that could translate when needed, knows the interesting buildings and places that we otherwise would not have seen and taught us about this wonderful city and country’s rich history. We can not rate/recommend Bueno Tours any higher. Alan, thank you for saying you would put us on a wait list and following through and for having a guide as agreeable and knowledgeable as Oliver! We were very happy with our walking tour and please give Oliver an “Atta boy” for representing/doing your business proud!

What a terrific way to spend a day in Buenos Aires. Jessica, our America raised tour guide, was very knowledgeable about the history, culture, and religious customs of Argentina. We were shown parts of the Recoleta cemetery likely missed in larger group tours. Did I mention it was just my wife and I with Jessica. Jessica took us to parts of the city we hadn’t seen on earlier tours which greatly expanded our knowledge of Argentina and Buenos Aires. We highly recommend this tour and Jessica.

We wanted to do a walking tour of Buenos Aires after reading about what to do in BA and booked on line. Our tour guide Tracy is great. She asked us our preference and what we would like to accomplish ahead of time, and created our tour based on what we asked. She was amazing, full of knowledge and energy! We had a great time, learned a lot about the city, culture, tango and about Argentina, We would highly recommend Tracy and this company if you are looking a great walking tour experience in Buenos Aires.

A solid choice for a private walking tour of the main attractions in the city of Buenos Aires. Buenos Aires is a big city and there’s only so much you can see in a day on foot but this was a great alternative to the typical city bus tour. The tour operator did a good job communicating with us prior to our tour date and were quick in helping us make accommodation changes to our tour due to last minute changes in our travel plans and we were very thankful for their assistance with that. Our tour guide on the day of was Chris and he did a fantastic job guiding us throughout the day and giving us a lot of history and information on the city of Buenos Aires. Some attractions we came across included the neighborhood of San Telmo, some empanadas at a local empanada cafe, then towards the city center, Plaza de Mayo, Casa Rosada, Catedral Metropolitana de Buenos Aires, Avenida 9 de Julio, the Buenos Aires Obelisk, Confitería La Ideal, and Recoleta Cemetery. It started to rain halfway through the tour unfortunately but Mother Nature is not something we can control. Overall, we enjoyed it and appreciated the personalized small group private tour experience to introduce ourselves to the city of Buenos Aires. Big thanks once again to our guide, Chris for being the one to lead us! - Nolan

Tracy was an excellent guide as we were able to explore the beautiful city of BA from her perspective. It is great to spend time with a local to be able to enhance the culture of the city. Tracy was very knowledgeable about the history of the city. We felt like she was a friend taking us on the journey. We experienced many aspects of the city from the kitsch of La Boca to the opulence of Retina. The historic city center was our starting point. The architecture and history surrounding the Plaza de Mayo is fascinating. I would recommend this tour as it is a great way to be introduced to the city. We loved Tracy’s passion for the city. As an added bonus she suggested a great restaurant in the Palermo district that we thoroughly enjoyed.

Our tour of BA was led by Oliver, who spoke perfect English. The tour lasted all day and covered a vast area of the city. We especially enjoyed learning about the history, culture and architecture of BA. Oliver's knowledge was very thorough. He offered a choice of lunch at a touristy or authentic location. We chose the authentic that served delicious empanadas! We highly recommend this tour!

We did a 3 hour private tour of BsAs with Chris and Jorge as our driver. Alan and the company were so communicative ahead of time and the day of. We had to make a very last minute change of pick up location and they immediately got in touch with us and fixed it to make for an on-time departure. We did a tour of La Boca and Recoleta. La Boca is pretty touristy and there isn't a ton to say about the neighborhood. The company did originally advise we tour San Telmo instead, which we should have listened to their advice :) Recoleta was fascinating.
Jorge ended up staying and waiting for us during the La Boca tour so he could drive us to the next destination so we didn't have to take ubers. Very much appreciated.
Chris was very knowledgable of the city and Argentina. Very nice guy but didn't show a ton of enthusiasm. We had to ask most questions to keep the conversation going.
