          Tango and steak 💃🏻🕺
Enjoyed our evening, the food was very good and steak huge. The wine was topped up but couldn’t help noticing tables right at the front were refilled more often , we were sitting next to them but they didn’t refill ours nearly as much. We dance ourselves, not very well we’re in our 70’s, but we couldn’t help feeling that the dancers , who were obviously well trained, did all the steps as they had learned them but there was no passion - they seemed to be just going through their routine The older couple did have passion. Maybe they were the teachers? The band was spectacular though! And the singers. Amazing music! !!! We enjoyed our evening very much though All in all it was a spectacular show, we enjoyed it hence 4 stars.

Not worth joining this tour !!!!
This tour is disappointing. It is nothibg but just a ferry ride and a two hours walking tour of the city centre. This is easily achieveable by just buying a ferry ticket and walk to the city by oneself. A waste of money. Dont consider this a tour at all. I actually say the ticket booth at a shopping centre selling ticket for the same tour for $90. Very DISAPPOINTED !!!!

Not worth the money. Take a cheaper tour and you’ll get the same
Frankly it’s a cheat. The “premium tour” starts with only 12 people but then takes the same boat as all the other (cheaper) tours with 200 other people. It’s not the one on the photo! The old and uncomfortable bus without suspension on broke down on the way back from Tigre (what can happen) and it took more than an hour to get another one. No apology from the agency. All very disappointing. Our guide Martina in contrary did a great job (otherwise only one star)

          Performers amazing, everything else okay.
The dancers and musicians were incredible, everything else was average. Expected better food and service for the price. The dancers made everything worth it, great show.

The 2 hour show flew by
We had good food, more than we could eat. They kept our wine glasses filled. The show was extremely good. Money well spent.

Perfect evening watching a great show
First rate dinner and show, superb entertainment, a must see in Buenos Aires. Absolutely loved the evening, a lovely warm welcome, great food and excellent service, and a fantastic show. A smaller venue than what the big tours offer but that's what makes this place special, so personal, not a bad seat in the house. Came out wanting to go right back in and see it all again.

          Overall worth going
Place is beautiful, the singing and dancing was superb, and the vibe great. There was an optional “class” before dinner, then dinner at 8:15 and show at 10 pm. It was great meeting other guests. Two areas could use improvement; it was very hot inside and although the servers were excellent and very pleasant, the steak was so so. Very generous with the wine and drinks.

Not the place for an authentic experience
If you’re looking for an experience which feels intimate and authentic, this is not it. It feels like a tourist trap. Think room jam packed with tourists, bright light and food which is hit and miss - my steak was good, my husband’s fish was inedible. Can’t fault the performance of the singers and dancers but the overall feel during the dinner for the almost 2 hours before the show felt very pedestrian and lacking atmosphere. Maybe tango is an outdated concept in contemporary Buenos Aires and it is unrealistic to expert an “authentic” experience?

          Fabulous evening
There are so many tango performance options making it quite difficult to select one. We booked the El Querandi and enjoyed every aspect of the performance. The theatre is quite small but is a perfectly adequate venue. The dinner was excellent, in fact the food exceeded our expectations. Each course was delicious. Serving staff were helpful, friendly and efficient. The performance involved a band and five dancing couples and included a number of excellent singers. The dancers was just amazing. It was a high energy performance by obviously very skilled dancers. It was riveting. We highly recommend the El Querandi.

          Interesting Day in Colonia
It was very convenient to have the pre-arranged transportation to and from the boat to our Buenos Aires hotel. The included walking tour lasted about an hour and was interesting and informative. The remaining three hours weren't quite enough for all we'd have liked to have done, but a pleasant lunch on the square, accompanied by Uruguayan tannat wine was delightful. It would have been helpful to add to the posted information that a drivers license (not just passport) is mandatory to rent a golf cart, which we were disappointed not to be able to do. Shopping at the Made In Uruguay store was fun. This was a very nice day trip.

Hours & Hours of Waiting in Lines for Immigration and Ferries with Very Little Payoff When You Get There
The driver and guide for the walking tour were excellent, courteous, and in all ways fine. They were not the problem. However, the trip to Colonia involves a lot of waiting in long lines in packed rooms for tedious immigration procedures each way, than a long wait for the ferry each way, then a longish ferry ride. When you finally get to Colonia, there is really not much there. The only tour available is a group tour, which had too many people in it. And there just is very little to see. All in all, it is a lot of waiting for hours in unpleasant circumstances for very little payoff. Our limited time in Buenos Aires could have been much better spent.

Whistle stop tour introduction to Buenos Aires
A really good introduction to the city. The tour provided a whistle stop guide to the main attractions of the area covered. Our guide ,Natalie, was knowledgeable and informative. She kept the group together well ,was organised ,efficient and cheerful. Our driver ,Dina ,skilfully navigated the congested side streets and broad avenues alike. We felt that sufficient time was allocated to each stop along insights to the relevance and history of the various attractions. There were two stops during the 5 hour tour which provided bathroom facilities .Our bus was clean and a good size ,fitted with seat belts .

Great show pity about the service
Great show with very experienced dancers singers and musicians . We did not have a meal, but found it hard to get a drink and it seems you can only get one! Then at the end we were asked for tips in a dark room with music blaring? Sorry tips for who? It somewhat dampened our overall experience. Show is worth seeing but serving staff seem rude and uncaring.

          Very nice show.
We purchased tickets for the Tango show and dinner. As our seating was premium, we had a good view of the stage. The tango show itself surpassed our expectations; both the male and female singers had beautiful voices, and the dancers were excellent. However, the dinner was merely so-so.

My boyfriend and I attended a lovely tango show called El Viejo Almacen. We hired the service with dinner and private transfers from our hotel in downtown. We loved the place and the dinner was delicious. The staff was very kind. The show was incredible. Dancers were very professional and the music was excellent. We had a wonderful time.
