About the operator
Don’t take it from us – here’s what people have to say about this operator:
- ldabird0 contributionsCool town, tour is so-so.The trip to Colonia is amazing and definitely worth it. Charming historic town. Make sure to visit the 7 or so small historical houses and museums around town —not included in the tour. In fact the “tour” is very limited- a buquebus guide who walks you into town. Shows you the Spanish and Portuguese architecture (interesting but repetitive) and tells you about the repeated attacks from the Spanish, Portuguese and English. It’s 35 minutes long and not particularly informative. You could get it from the Wikipedia entry. You need your pesos to get into the museum, so I suggest buying some thing from a vendor and asking for pesos in change or going to an exchange on the Main Street. .Written 30 September 2024
- dantecamille0 contributionsEnjoyable Dinner and ShowThe venue is very attractive with a nice vibe. We had dinner and our server was so attentive. Food was good except my husband's steak was overdone and lots of chunks of fat on it. My vegetarian food was very good and main course was Mushroom Rissoto! The Tango show was professional, nice costumes and great dancers. An enjoyable evening.Written 14 September 2024
- iowcat0 contributionsFull day of adventure and learning about the beautiful Colonia and Uruguay. This tour was amazing. The hotel pickup/transfer to and from the port terminal was easy and prompt with very courteous staff. The walking tour in Colonia was very informative and the guide was entertaining and knowledgeable and eager to answer questions and gave insightful information on Colonia, as well as Uruguay and its history.Written 29 August 2024
- theon8670 contributionsA great day trip and tour from Buenos Aires to Colonia.Great day trip! Walking tour guide was very knowledgeable, professional and spoke great English. Also the lady who did hotel pick up & drop off was very friendly. Would recommend tourWritten 12 August 2024
- HappyNorwegians0 contributionsDo the wine tasting, Tango lessons, dinner and the show! Fun! Fun! Fun!This Tango Show takes you through the History of The Tango in Buenos Aires. Excellent dancers and singers. We had the dinner as well. You are allowed to choose the items you want: We took the pumpkin cream soup, steak (bife de Chorizo) and lemon ice cream. They had lamb, pork, chicken, risotto, pasta and vegetarian options as well. The meal came with free beverages as well: wine, mineral water, soft drinks, beer, coffee or tea. Very efficient serving! I recommend you go to a different show each time you visit Buenos Aires as they are all different and fun. We also had Tango lessons and Wine tasting a few hours before the show started. Very fun day.Written 31 July 2024
- brendagW2801TX0 contributionsAmazing Show!!The music, singing and dancing were absolutely amazing!! I would definitely recommend this dinner & show combo. The food was delicious as well. The food is served first so if you are not getting food you can arrive a little later as the show doesn’t start until after 9:30. Such a great night, well worth it!Written 14 July 2024
- jacquir2140 contributionsDon’t miss the chance to spend a day in ColoniaDefinitely worth a day trip from Buenos Aires and recommend staying overnight if you have time. Quite easy to buy a ticket for the ferry online from Colonia Express and walk around the town on your own. Is quite compact and has a very laid back vibe as soon as you get off the boat. Lots of good cafes and restaurants in the old port even in the winter and weather was a pleasant 17C.Written 30 June 2024
- Rosco P0 contributionsI’d do it if I were you and struggling to find a decent showGreat show- we only did the show and had a dessert or starter included. Dessert was quite tasty, and the show was fantastic. A good introduction for a foreigner. We didn’t feel crammed in and thankfully there was no pillar in the way. For those seats, a bit of shuffling of your chair would still make the experience work, but perhaps they should discount those seats to some degree. I’d recommend it!Written 12 June 2024
- Stay5972160 contributionsAmazing! The place is amazing, an old bricked building from the 1850's. The service, the food and the show were excellent! I definitely recommend it!!Written 9 June 2024
- 35805Susan0 contributionsTerrible experience. Did not see tangoVenue was pretty but if you want to see below the shoulders skip it. $200 wasted. Went to LaQuerandi and had a great experience for about $50.Written 29 May 2024
- 272amandag0 contributionsTotally worth itThis was totally worth it! We took a day trip from Buenos Aires. There is so much charm in Colonia, and lots of good food. The ferry was easy, even with customs.Written 15 May 2024
- georgia9510 contributionsOne Night @ Senor Tango!great place to visit, fantastic show .. food average, but after all you are going there for the show, not for the food! :-)Written 15 May 2024
- daivdt20240 contributionssuckswaste of money please dont go it didn't provide the best day ever and a random ass bird poop on me and I hate that and this day tour ana was meanWritten 6 May 2024
- Cristina L0 contributionsInteresting and beautifulInteresting, well organized, the ferry was great! The communication and punctuality with the tour organizers in Buenos Aires was better than expected. Highly recommended! Customs in Uruguay and Argentina were fast. It was a nice experience to visit Colonia de Sacramento as it is so close to Buenos Aires, and you will learn some history about this village and their Spanish and Portuguese influence. Our tour guide in Uruguay was Anabel, very kind and passionate about her town. If you want to try a Chivito sandwich, find the local food trucks located a couple of blocks away from the tourist area. Try the Juana La Loca alfajor! :DWritten 6 May 2024

My husband and I visited Estancia Santa Susana last march and had a lovely day. We were picked up at our hotel a few minutes after 9 am. And we arrived at the estancia before noon where we were welocomed by the gauchos with empanadas and drinks at the old pulperia (grocery store). Next, we had some time to ride on horses before we were called for lunch. The argentine meat is their specialty and it was very tasty and tender. We attended a gaucho show while having lunch, too. The weather was sunny and warm and there were some other outdoor activities with horses performed by the gauchos. Our guide was very efficient and did a great job explaining everything. We really had a memorable day..!
