- Grant M0 contributionsExcellent tour for those who love Diego Maradona and Argentine footballThe tour guide Fernando was absolutely an amazing tour guide. He was very knowledgeable about Diego Maradona's life and was more than willing to take photos for you while touring the house and the stadium. I learned not only more things about Deigo, but also about Argentine football and Argentine culture. I highly recommend this tour for anyone that is a fan of Maradona and a fan of Argentine football.Written 29 November 2024

- copilot2870 contributionsExcellent transfers to & from the airport!Fernando & Anthony took us from the Buenos Aires airport to our hotel on Apr 22 & then back to the airport 8 days later. The pickup was flawless- he was in touch as soon as we landed, told us exactly where to meet him & easily accommodated all of our luggage & explained the sites along the way . They promptly picked us up for our return & got us to the airport in plenty of time . Malambo Tours runs a great operation & we highly recommend them ! Thanks Fernando!Written 12 May 2024
- QERAND0 contributionsPrivate Transfer from/to EZE airport in Buenos Aires. 5 Star service!I booked the private transfers through Viator for a party of 4. Fernando made a great impression on my clients and me as well. He quickly replied to my and my client's emails and was on time for the 2 transfers booked. Additionally, his rates were very reasonable, and his cars were comfortable and very clean. I highly recommend using Malambo Tours for your travel needs while in Buenos Aires, and if you're lucky, you will get to work with the wonderful Fernando!Written 2 May 2024
- X1109IJdavidh0 contributionsVery enjoyable, 100% recommendReally enjoyed this, far more interesting than the other stadium tours that I have done. A wide collection of memorabilia and enthusiastic guides - Carmela was great. Definitely worth the trip.Written 16 April 2024
- desmonds4240 contributionsGood ExperienceGood service. On time. Driver courteous and professional. Driver did not speak English but then I do not speak Spanish and I am visiting a Spanish speaking culture. No Complaints at all. Google translate makes it all work. ThanksWritten 1 March 2024
- Robert G0 contributionsReliable airport transferPerfect service. Good communication, waiting for us as soon as we left baggage claim at EZE, made our flight at AEP with plenty of time to spare. Highly recommendWritten 21 February 2024
- Quest335673193890 contributionsGreat Airport TransferFernando was waiting for us as promised when we exited customs. The car was clean. His driving was excellent! I would definitely recommend using them for airport transfersWritten 30 January 2024
- johnrL9625CS0 contributionsThank you Fernando!I was really sad to leave Buenos Aires and Argentina but I knew chatting with Fernando in his car on the way to the more centrally located JEP airport would make my departure easier. Fernando's car is very clean and his English is excellent putting my Spanish to shame. Fernando was on time and there was no issues getting to the airport in a relaxed fashion. In general I would recommend Fernando's car service and tours unreservedly if you want someone to converse with and be reliable.Written 19 November 2023
- johnrL9625CS0 contributionsFine introduction to Buenos Aires and ArgentinaI had arranged a car service through my hotel to pick me up from EZE upon arrival in Buenos Aires. There had been a serious accident on the road to the airport so Fernando was a few minutes late picking me up. He was very communicative about the delay via WhatsApp and to be honest it was a very pleasant evening outside the airport so everything felt fine and I didn't mind the few minutes wait. I learned during my stay that most Argentinians are pretty relaxed in general and I was really happy that I made Fernando's acquaintance and was able to use his services again during my stay for both a Maradona tour and getting a ride to the other airport on Buenos Aires on my departure.Written 19 November 2023
- qu7140 contributionsA service that makes travel easyI was a solo traveler so to be greeted at the airport in another country after a 14+ hour travel day by Fernando made life very easy. Fernando was waiting for me as soon as I excited customs he loaded all my bags into his comfortable and super clean vehicle and had a snack and water waiting for me. He provided me with great information about the city and culture. When it was time for the second leg of my trip Fernando picked me up at 3:00 AM and got me yo the airport safely and on time. I was thrilled to have his expertise 2 more times and just like the first - he was on time - the car was spotless and he was very informative sharing information about Buenos Aires and Argentina. He speaks fluent English - better than me :) and is very caring about his customers. I had Fernando as my driver 4 times and when I go back to Argentina - he will be on of the first calls I make. Safe, skilled driver, dependable, courteous, great educator, and caring.Written 15 October 2023
- R1703NNthomasm0 contributionsexcellent and fully recommendedThe possibility to visit directly the place where Maradona and his family lived. It provides a great insight into the really very moderate background of this amazing player. I wonder whether this will still be possible in a few years time and appreciate the chance. The guide was excellent and explained with knowledge and empathy the life of Maradona and gave a lot of background information about the situation of Argentina.Written 22 July 2023
- paranuts0 contributionsTigre river ride was good, but..........I have to say I was a bit disappointed. We were the last to be picked up, joining a group in the tour van. The guide was informative as we drove through the many neighborhoods. When we arrived at the river, we were surprised to be informed that we would not continue with the group. We were escorted to the boat and introduced to another guide. We had no interaction with this guide at all, until we exited the boat. When we stopped at a corner, we were told by the guide that we would have to walk over 4 blocks to our hotel. I had my confirmation paper with me stating we had transportation to and from the hotel. She said "No one is getting dropped of at their hotel". She was a bit rude about it, and said we could walk to the Hilton. I informed her we were not staying at the Hilton, but at the Sheraton. "Oh, well that is only 3 blocks". It was a very hot day, over 90, and my husband has a heart condition. I had paid for full transportation. She would not discuss it at all and we walked, hoping not to get lost, to our hotel. Would not recommend this tour.Written 11 February 2020

My initial tour arrangement to visit some Maradona landmarks in Buenos Aires fell through at the last minute and Fernando was able to step in (I had already made his acquaintance with an airport transfer) at very short notice to give me a personal tour of both the Argentinos Juniors stadium and the museum located where Maradona lived with his large family upon signing his first professional contract.
First, Fernando is just a huge futbol fan and his fandom centers around Argentinos Juniors and rightly the relatively small club are immensely proud of giving the greatest player of all time his start. So the passion Fernando has for both Argentinos Juniors and the country in general shines through. But also he is extremely knowledgeable and has superb English skills.
Second, Fernando is just really personable and friendly. While I was his client it felt like I'd met up with an old friend and he was showing me around the city and we just chatted about futbol and Argentina and our lives in general.
If you want an easy going but reliable guide while you're in Buenos Aires and you have a genuine interest in Argentinian culture and Diego Maradona specifically I can't imagine a better tour guide than Fernando.

Very nice experience, we went with my brother who dreamed of knowing more about Maradona's history, our guides were the best, they told the story from the heart and being a fan, they made us relive the history, being in the museum, stadium and his house where he lived, was something magical...Completely recommended Tour
