About the operator
Don’t take it from us – here’s what people have to say about this operator:
- KiwiKerry530 contributionsAwesome NightAn all round great evening! The staff were fabulous, the food amazing and great show. Originally they mixed my name up with someone who hadn't booked for dinner.. once I pointed out the incorrect first name there were heartfelt apologies and a complimentary glass of bubbles. The food was amazing ... The best steak ever, so flavour some. The show was great. I would recommend take the whole package!Written 20 March 2025
- M4190MYkathyw0 contributionsGreat experience! This was a great experience and the crew at Abramar Buceo were attentive and fun. We have some great photos provided by the diving crew. They were knowlegeable about the sea lions and sea birds. The equipment and wet suits fit well and kept us warm. Would definitely recommend this tour.Written 15 March 2025
- E1125VCenriquer0 contributionsOverall a good tour, with a few recommendationsMy complete honesty regarding this tour: I paid for pick up from hotel to transfer me to and from the Buquebus port in Puerto Madero. The driver was extremely professional and polite. She was on time both times (early actually!) Once at the port in Buenos Aires everything is very straight forward to board the ferry. It didn’t take long to go through customs and get my boarding ticket once there. It did help that I spoke Spanish though. Once I arrived in Uruguay, I was a bit lost finding the tour group. The tour guide Natalia did not have a sign with my name or the name of the tour on her so I walked back and forth for about 10 minutes trying to figure out where to go. I lucked out finally finding a “supervisor” at the Uruguay port who helped me find the tour guide after a few minutes. The tour guide Natalia was not very welcoming at first, maybe she isn’t a morning person? She seemed very annoyed at first, but again, maybe she isn’t a morning person. As the day went on, she was friendlier, however. She was knowledgeable during the tour regarding Montevideo’s history. Things I did not like about the tour were that we got dropped off at a hotel for coffee, then at a shopping mall for an hour. I feel like if I wanted to go shopping at a mall, I can do that back home. I would definitely change this about the tour. Also, the restaurant they let us eat lunch was located at the ferry station in Uruguay. I don’t know if the tour company is owned by the ferry station, but it seemed like it was. I would have preferred a better restaurant choice to experience Uruguayan cuisine, possibly at a market or something . The trip was very organized, and I felt safe the entire time. Overall, it was a great day! I’m still on the fence though if it was worth the price they are asking for.Written 13 March 2025
- danielfE620ZT0 contributionsDO NOT USE THIS COMPANYDO NOT USE THIS COMPANY! Terrible customer service! They told us one thing but booked us for the wrong return trip which cost us almost double because they would not help at all or change the return trip after keeping us on the phone for an hour and did not treat us very well at all. Save yourself the trouble and go with a better company.Written 11 March 2025
- Trip335499847000 contributionsLa Ventana Tango Show in Buenos AiresThe dinner was outstanding, a great choice of items.... the wine I liked very much. The show was so much more that I expected, the dancers were all experienced, and professional, they were beautiful. The musicians were top tier... and the Gaucho dancer with boleadoras was fantastic ...Was worth the money...will see again..Written 28 February 2025
- DutchJM0 contributionsScam alertDo not book your ticket via this operator, this is a total scam. Get your ticket directly from the theater, either online or at the ticket desk. You will pay USD 23, half the price for the exact same tour. The guides work for the theater, not this operator.Written 27 February 2025
- mickbW9836JP0 contributionsScam!!!Its a scam! The tickets sold on the website of the teatro colon are on $21, here they charge more that double, same guided tour. We are waiting for Viator/tripadvisor to reimburse the difference. Book on the theatre website and save 50%Written 23 February 2025

- melschaeffer0 contributionsFirst Pope from the AmericasVictor was a gracious guide as he explained the early life of Jorge Bergoglio and his rise to Pope Francis. His early schools, parish’s and homes and ultimately the Buenos Aires Metropolitan Cathedral. The tour touched on both the autobiographical and historical sites. The Cathedral was closed on our tour day but we visited another day on our own to conclude the experience.Written 19 February 2025

- Ctgrabbit0 contributionsGood tour activities but not good customer support by tour companyInadequate communication by tour company regarding meeting time and location of the end point of the tour resulting in inconvenience and additional cost. The boat ride through the delta was very interesting as well as relaxing. The other activities in this tour represented the area. Our tour guide was pleasant and helpful. However, I would not necessarily recommend this tour company. We were told to report at 9:15 AM and our tour guide was told to report at 9:45 AM at the meeting point. This was very inconvenient as we got up early to taxi to the meeting point from our hotel and we were left without guidance for over 30 minutes. At the end of the tour, we were left over 12 miles from the designated end point. Rather than ending the tour at the designated point, within walking distance from our hotel, we were forced to take a taxi at our own expense for a 14.6 mile trip across Buenos Aires. Our tour guide kindly assisted in securing a taxi for a fair rate, but it was an expense we had not anticipated. The change in the end point resulted from construction work and inability of the train to access this specific area. However, the tour company should have been aware of the issue since it was an ongoing project over a considerable time frame. The tour company should have notified us of the change in final destination, the additional distance that had to be traveled at our own expense — or provided alternative transport to the designated ending point.Written 15 February 2025
- allisone5120 contributionsDo NOT use Tangol operatorThe tour guide- Tangol- does not deliver your tickets via email like other operators thus we were not admitted to the tour and they would not provide us with a refund Do NOT use this operatorWritten 15 February 2025
- joec970 contributionsOverpriced ticket for a 1 hour tour. Book direct!Partially my error but the original tour times were changed by Expedia. I put the original time in my agenda. The changed time was one hour earlier than the original tour. I arrived one hour late. I paid circa 50 dollars for a 1 hour tour that would have been half the price had I booked it directly! Indeed for a tour I couldn't do anyway! Recommendation. Expedia should send a Google or calendar invite for every booking. Any future changes that they make will then automatically updated in the clients calendar.Written 15 February 2025
- 636youz0 contributionsBad Experience never everWell I have to say I had a very bad experience with TripAdvisor by getting the ticket from it for Teatro Colon. I failed to get a ticket voucher via email, even getting a couple email notification, reminding me to find a one. Before 2 hours ago from getting the theater there, I double checked my email again but still didn't get the ticket. Once standing in front of the entry, I was advised that the email confirmation without ticket cannot let me in. Therefore, I took several international calls to TripAdvisor trying to get a ticket via email. Meanwhile, they told me to download Viator or whatsapp which I could not download successfully due to mobile provider. Finally it took me 30 mins to miss the main part of trip. Therefore, I highly advised the potential visitor to get the ticket from the official office ticket online rather than Trip Advisor.Written 13 February 2025
