The boat ride to Tigre was very memorable. Once we arrived, the tour operator joined us for lunch at a lovely restaurant, then drove us back into the city, giving us facts about what we were seeing along the way. Our guide for this tour was Pablo Zarini and he was amazing.
He was Knowledgeable and explained the aspects of the city’s history and culture that only a proper local would know.
He went beyond the stated itinerary to ensure we fully immersed ourselves in what it is like to live in this wonderful city. The foods, the beer and the local history all weaved together in a fascinating drive through the neighbourhoods of Buenos Aires.
This is a must do experience if you are visiting this city and you’ll cover so much more than if you plan to explore without a guide.
We can’t thank Pablo enough for the insights he gave us as well as the laughs chat and banter.

Our tour of Buenos Aires was one of a kind, Pablo was the best guide!! He did a great job working with us to create a perfect day. Not only did he take us around and show us the local places of Buenos Aires he also introduced us to people and artist. He provided recommendations for things he thought we might want to do during our stay. I'd highly recommend the private tour especially with Pablo as guide, felt like I experienced Buenos Aires with a long time friend.

Pablo was a very flexible and down to Earth tour guide who showcased the best of his hometown. We had to move the tour to another day because of some dangerous weather in Buenos Aires, but Pablo made up for it with an energetic and insightful drive around town.
Pablo was inquisitive and a natural conversationalist, with solid English and a great understanding of the cultures of both Argentina and the U.S. He had grace and humor about the city, and navigated the harsh traffic fearlessly.
He showed me around the San Telmo Market, La Boca, and the multiple waterfront spaces of Buenos Aires. We even caught a glimpse of the President at the Casa Rosada!
It was a great way to spend a beautiful day in BA, and I highly recommend Pablo as a guide for the sights and the life of this classic city.

We were on our way to a friend’s wedding who lives in the countryside of Argentina's interior, so we only had one full day to spend in Buenos Aires. To see as much as possible, we booked a four-hour sightseeing tour with a private guide. From the moment we were picked up at the hotel, Alejandro's cheerfulness and good humor was so infectious that after just a few minutes in his presence we felt as comfortable as if we were traveling with a long-time friend. Alejandro knew "his city" like the back of his hand and complemented the city tour with additional historical background and funny anecdotes when the opportunity arose, such as during the visit to La Recoleta cemetery, about which we still laugh today when we think about it. Halfway through the tour, we were overcome with a yearning for something to drink. No problem, Alejandro took us to the nearby Cafe La Biel, where we enjoyed coffee and pastries together while listening to Alejandro's stories about the history of the cafe and its prominent visitors. Then we went on to an old theater that has been transformed into the most incredible bookstore in the world and to La Boca, the district of Buenos Aires with the famous soccer stadium and the colorfully painted corrugated iron houses, where the alleys are bustling with life. Alejandro seemed to know all the street performers, tango dancers, and snack bar owners personally and granted us a unique and authentic interaction with the inhabitants of Boca, including the best Chorizo sandwich ever. To describe every one of the unforgettable moments we owe to Alejandro would go beyond the scope of this review, so just one more thing: Although the "food breaks" we requested had "cost" us about an hour and a half of our tour, Alejandro insisted on completing the tour, stating that we treated him like a friend and that he also enjoyed the time with us. Therefore, he wanted to accept a tip only after some discussion because Alejandro said: "You do not do that between friends and you already invited me to the food."

We only had 3/4s of a day in the capital so this tour was perfect for us! We had the option to start early afternoon and it took in all the highlights we wanted to see. MartĂn was an excellent guide, full of information about the city and its history plus all the new modern day developments going on. He showed us around all the key areas and never rushed us if we wanted to take photos or videos at different points (especially when they were doing the tango shows in the streets. Martin’s English was great and I wouldn’t hesitate to recommend him and this tour to anyone considering visiting this wonderful capital city!

We HIGHLY recommend Alejandro and his tour! Alejandro brought Buenos Aires to life with history and colorful stories. We only had a short time in Buenos Aires and touring with Alejandro as our guide was fun and efficient.
He picked us up at our hotel and showed us the iconic sites, fun neighborhoods, and told fascinating, engaging, and ironically lively stories about the lives of those buried in the Buenos Aires cemetery and the architects who designed the mausoleum masterpieces. Alejandro was AMAZING- I wish he could be our guide on every tour!!

Have a tour guide that can speak reasonable English when an English guide has been booked.
Be more up front about the exact nature of the tour. We were not expecting a taxi ride through the pretty frantic streets of BA where the city highlights were communicated through a recorded message. Not good enough for the price of the tour.
We were pretty uncertain as to what the arrangements were to me the guide (who turned out to be the taxi driver) and even when the tour started.
A disappointing experience all up. We ended up walking for 3 of the 4 hours - the taxi experienced was hot and uncomfortable.

Chris, sorry to read this, I am Alejandro owner of Argentina Highlights, I told you that my car had a problem after having waited for them for more than 2 hours, I had to send a replacement to wait for you and not cancel the tour, because you weren’t answering their phones or the emails I sent you, when I got your confirmation that the tour started at 10 and you showed up two hours later, we didn’t cancel the reservation out of respect and we didn’t charge overtime for not being on time for you. I understand that the guide may not speak fluent English that you expected, even so, you visited the city of Buenos Aires and repeatedly asked the guide if they were well and needed something, at the end of the tour I wrote you to verify the same, but you did not answer me, since if there was a problem it could be solved. I’m sorry you didn’t like the ride, but your rating helps us keep growing and improving. Thank you for choosing us and I hope someday to be able to correct the problem caused. Juan was a very good French-speaking guide to discover Buenos Aires, he is very cultured and answers all our questions. The tour is carried out by car, which allows you to discover many areas of the city.
The disadvantage of the car is that parking is sometimes difficult in tourist areas and we have to continue on our way without being able to explore further on foot.
The 4 hours pass very quickly, I think it's a bit short if you want to stroll around the cemetery, the market or the Japanese garden but it's a good first glimpse.

We asked for a very customized tour and that’s exactly what our guide, Pablo Zarini, gave us. We really wanted to see the street art and he very patiently drove us from spot to spot and took lots of pics for us. But more than that, he was super knowledgeable about all things Buenos Aires. Pablo was super friendly and made us very comfortable. We had a really great time/experience and would highly recommend him.

Pablo was our tour guide, and he was very knowledge about Argentia and Buenos Aires. His knowledge of the stories of various mausoleums at the Cemetery of Recoleta was amazing. This is a must do with Pablo as your guide. His timing is impeccable. He timed it so we could see the changing of the guard's ceremony at Casa Rosada, the presidential palace. We ended our tour with walking thru the streets of Caminito, and of course, Pablo informed of the local artists and pointed out places to purchase various trinkets.
